Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Sicily

We had a wonderful stay at Gabriella's place. The apartment was beautifully renovated with everything we needed and the wrap around balcony was great to have breakfast. The location was perfect near Cesars Gelato shop and the beautiful Lungomare where we had many wonderful sunsets looking out to the Messina Straights and Mount Etna.

We had an outstanding experience here. Was excellent. Giuseppe was so welcoming and oriented us to the area and gave us recommendations. He really took pride in his and had a great personal touch. The space is very large and airy, I would say here without hesitation in the future.

A lovely, well-equipped apartment in the heart of Castelbuono. Dorotea was really responsive and helpful particularly as we both have coeliac disease so she went out of her way to check out where we could eat and buy gluten-free food. I couldn't fault anything in terms of the apartment itself and communication, everything was perfect. The only thing I have to mention is that if you have a hire car, opt for the smallest one possible as parking is a nightmare and the streets are REALLY narrow. And also opt for fully comprehensive insurance, in case of any scratches when passing other cars or them passing you.

Welcomingly received by Natalia and her husband. We were able to get into the apartment at noon, a 20-minute walk from the city center. The property was beautiful and tastefully decorated and also super clean. Good bed. We could park our car in a guarded parking lot for EUR 10 per day and got a badge with which you could drive in and out. All in all, a relaxed, wonderful place.

Andrea was a really kind and considerate guest. The house, spacious and in a great location, lends itself perfectly to hosting a group of friends. Stra recommended!

Impeccable accommodation. Peaceful street. Perfect location. We were lucky and were able to park directly in front of the listing. Otherwise there are always a few spots available on the adjacent streets. I would definitely recommend this apartment 100%.

A wonderful place to stay with so much within walking distance. The apartment was lovely and had everything you need, especially comfortable beds. Davide was very attentive and answered any questions super quickly and even met us to help check in. Great place and great host.

The studio is very well arranged and the terrace is very nice. Communication is very easy with Arturo and Tatjana who were very friendly.

Davide is an extraordinarily responsive host. He dealt immediately with a brief water service interruption, arranged an Etna tour on short notice with a wonderful guide and did everything he could to help us recover an article left behind on the bus from Siracusa. A big part of our pleasure exploring Catania was related to the warmth of his welcome and ongoing attention. We'd be happy to add a few extra stars!

Many bedrooms, many beds, many bathrooms. Quiet at night. Charming and comfortable. He filled the refrigerator with drinks for sale which made it convenient for us. He was a wonderful host, solicitous, and kept in touch. You get much more than you expect for the price. The apt was immaculate, but be prepared for stairs within the unit.

Very nice place, awesome host! Super flexible on a last minute booking. Would recommend, with the following notes... Good: -Clean and newly remodeled -Plenty of towels, hot water and excellent water pressure. -all the amenities you'll need for your stay -Awesome host!! -Separate AC/heat in both bedrooms and the kitchen/living room -Private parking Bad: -Not near tourist stuff (will require a car, cab or bus). -spotty internet, especially 1500-2100 when everyone in the building is using it. -not full balconies like in the photo. More like a "French Balcony" that opens up the rooms a little.

We absolutely love this place. The apartment was beautiful. We spend a lot of time in the apartment the first couple days because of jetlag and it was comfort for our group of four. We would highly recommend the apartment. The bathrooms are a little funky design but the showers was awesome! Francesca was very helpful with restaurants and car service. we also use her driver for a day trip outside of town. The restaurant right next store was fantastic too. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Francesco made us feel very welcome. Very warm and friendly host. He even showed us some of his favourite eating spots in Stefano when he picked us up from the station! He was very generous. Always responded quickly to questions and helped us out with some extras. The flat had everything we needed and was super clean and comfortable. A great outdoor area to relax in the afternoons. Very quiet at nice, some very restful sleeps. The town is a great place to visit. Many amazing restaurants and places to eat and drink. The locals were very friendly. A perfect town for a weeks stay with enough to do to keep entertained. Molto grazie Francesco!

Our host Gianluca welcomed us very kindly and was always open to questions and responded on short notice. He provided information material about sights and restaurant recommendations. The apartment was very clean and bright, modernly furnished, well equipped, comfortable and nicely decorated. The two bathrooms were modern and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We especially liked the large dining table and the comfortable sofa in the living area. The view through the glazed outer wall in the living room and from the large furnished terrace to the sea was magnificent. The photos matched the pictures on the website. We were very comfortable here and recommend the apartment.

We spent 2 days in Catania. The apartment is in a great location for visiting Catania on foot. Easy access from the airport. We were able to park in the square behind the apartment. Mattheo was very accessible and responsive. The apartment was well equipped. From the apartment a pick-up is possible to go to "Mama Etna"!

Had an amazing stay at Claudio’s place. The location is close to everything and his place is the perfect spot to call home for a few days in Noto (the balconies are amazing!). Claudio was also a great host and responded right away to any questions we had and check-in was easy. There was also free parking on the street out front. Would stay again.

We just enjoyed a week in Florianas slice of heaven at the start of march, and it was perfect for us with our 2 year old son. The beach house is wonderful, the facilities such as the lovely heated pool and hot tub, and the washer/dryer and kitchen were both fun and super helpful! The cot was also ready for our use which was perfect. We liked the location a lot, but we were very grateful we had our own car to drive to all of the other fun. Floriana was an amazing host, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable! She had lots of really helpful recommendations and was very communicative with us. Would easily recommend to anyone.

We spent a few nights in late October and the place is really beautiful, the house itself as well as the island. You get stunning views on both the volcano as well as the sea. The house can be reached by approximately 30 minute walk from the port, or by a taxi. Be aware that off-season, there are no restaurants opened and you need to prepare your own food. The ingredients can be purchased in the local supermarkets which accept card payments. Also bear in mind that due to weather conditions, you might not be able to leave the island as expected, because the only way to/from Stromboli is by the hydrofoil or a ferry, so plan accordingly and leave a buffer. That’s what happened to us, but not even 3 days were enough, we were stranded on the island for 4 days and we missed our flight back home. Luckily, Renato was a really attentive and helpful host, and enabled us to stay all these additional nights for a reduced rate which we highly appreciated.

Very cool place! we stayed for about 1 month, and enjoyed very much. Sandra and Fabio are great hosts, friendly, caring, and had a lot of tips and recommendations for the area. Dylan the cat is really sweat, a great host as well. Location is best explored with a rental car. January features fresh citrus from the garden :)!

The apartment is nice and very close to the sea, we could go to the beach and come back few times a day. It has a nice garden and it feels grand. Also laying in the chair on the terrace during siesta was one of my favorites. The Conad is 5-10 mins away and cafes along the shore just few minutes away.

Hosts were really firendly. They left us some bakery products, water, beer and grapes. It was lovely. We also had a small problem with the alarm and they helped us in 5 minutes. We wanted to check-in half an hour earlier and they allowed us. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures. It was clean - there were some ants, but the ants were also in our second apartment, where we stayed, so I guess it's normal :) We got to park right next to the apartment. The little city itself is cute, but there wasn't really anything to do. We loved one bakery that was like 150 meters from the apartment. We mostly went to Palermo by car. We cooked almost every dinner in the apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed - bowls, knives, salt, oil etc. One of the hotplates did not work but it was okay. Overall we would recommend this place, it was cute and the design was awesome, you could park for free. But just keep in mind, that you shall need a car to drive to bigger cities/beaches.

Fabio was a charming and welcoming host. He is clearly passionate about tourism and making his guests welcome and at ease. He and his family were very kind. As a sporty family we used the gym a lot ( which we had to ourselves). We would have loved an outdoor pool but knew there wasn’t one and he is now aiming to install an outdoor pool. The apartment is well air conditioned and has everything needed ( we were a family of 5) and with plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds Lovely robes left for us and a sun hat each Really nice touches which show that Fabio cares about making a good impression - which he did. You do need a car as the apartment is quite some way out but if you don’t mind that ( we didn’t) then the quiet was good. We recommend it!!! Apartment with terrace - superb views of the sea! The beach, almost private so few people, is really beautiful. The sand from the beach and the sea bottom is soft. Very comfortable apartment, we were 3 people. Personalized and warm welcome with little attention (Sicilian cookies). Only downside, the third bedroom with double bed is in a separate apartment. So the third person slept in a single bed to stay all 3 together in the living space. Also, the hot tub was defective (flowed and not clean). The owners are aware and intend to remedy the situation.

The house is half of two attached villas. One for the guests and the host Giacomo lives in the other. The house is located in a gated compound of three villas with an electronic gate and a protected parking space. The house is nice, very clean, new and has everything one needs. There is lovely view to the sea from the upper floor. Having two newly built spotless bathrooms was really great. Giacomo’s two lovely friendly cats are often around for added joy. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to unexpected loud construction works in the neighbouring villa, but otherwise we would have very much enjoyed our stay and can recommend it.
