Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Sicily

This place is a real gem! The garden is amazing, the pool area is beautiful and the rooms are bright and well decorated and the bed was super comfortable. Very good breakfast also. Only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! Would highly recommend.

Casena Mongerratti was exactly what I was looking for. An oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds for a couple of days. Lost in the Sicilian mountains, basking near the quiet pool, amazing food at the restaurant, and getting to share evenings with locals as they use this enchanting place to celebrate their events. And the human touch from the owner himself Hanzo, from whom I got a history lesson. Grazie mille di mio cuore 💜😊

The stay at Rosaria's was simply wonderful! It is a great property in a quiet location with the best view of the old town of Taormina. A small but very fine breakfast on your own terrace really made it a highlight. Rosaria is super friendly and always ready to fulfill one's wishes. Definitely a clear recommendation! and I'm sure this won't be the last time I'm here. I would give 10 stars if possible!!!

Amazing stunning place. Staff very accommodating. Beautiful settings. Peaceful. Incredible home cooked traditional food. Good value and would recommend to anyone. Pool was cold. But it was raining a lot during our stay.

We had the most amazing stay at the Nomad slow living lodge and the surroundings are beautiful and the perfect place to unwind and relax. The location is great if you want to explore the wider area by car too. Ignazio was super responsive and helpful and Roberta was truly amazing, making us feel so at home, she gave some great recommendations for us to head out and explore and was just so helpful and friendly making our stay even more amazing! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

We loved staying at Ignazio‘s home. The garden is beautiful and very peaceful. The room was very clean, and there was a nice breakfast provided every morning. It is true that the walls are a bit thin so you might hear your neighbour from time to time, but since everybody is there for peace and quiet, it won‘t bother you. We can definitely recommend staying here!

We had a nice, short stay in one of Ignazio's rooms. The room was exactly as advertised and was basic, but fine. Not spotless, a little dust here and there, but otherwise neat. The bed was nice and fresh and comfortable. It's handy that there's also a small fridge in the room for drinks or snacks. Upon arrival, two lamps did not work, but they were replaced by Ignazio the same day. The veranda is nice, with a bench and sturdy hammock. The view over the garden and surroundings is beautiful, you can really relax. The swimming pool and the surrounding terrace were very clean and the pool is cleaned every day by a device. The water was still a bit cold, but it quickly warmed up. The breakfast we had two mornings was good and extensive, and there we also spoke to Roberta, a super friendly lady. We visited the Zingaro nature reserve, beautiful! Surrounding villages, reachable by car, are also nice. Especially Scopello was nice to eat (Nettuno)!

One of my very best friends and I came to Al Numero Zero and into the caring, capable and charming hands (and lands) of Luis/Luigi. We stayed for three nights but instantly wanted to extend our time on Lipari at the farm. Why? From Luigi’s five star service, from picking us up at the port on arrival, to bringing us to town and back anytime we liked or when he was going there, to the thoughtful farm fresh eggs waiting each morning and the stocked kitchen, to our time swinging in the hammock or hanging with the asini (donkeys), gli gatti (my fave), or riding in the van with Luigi and Imma the dog… each moment was truly memorable. The sunsets. The sun rises. The expertise of Luigi, who cares so much about his animals, his property, the gardens, and his island of Lipari… all of it was delightful. It is my third time on the Aeolian Islands (second on Lipari), and I study regenerative agriculture with the intention of having my own agriturismo in Italy, and I can say Luigi gets it!!
