Cottage holiday rentals in Sicily

We had a great time. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The road was not as bad as advertised in the reviews. The accommodation, as well as the amenities allowed us to have a pleasant stay.

Beautiful house with a very nice view. Cefalu is 10 minutes away by car! Antonella was a lovely host who made sure our stay was perfect. Recommended for everyone!

The place was very tranquil and serene. You need a car to get around. There are a number of places to visit once you have a car. Insect repellent recommended in the evenings. Nino was very welcoming and helpful with our queries throughout our stay.

Had a nice stay. Very close to the beautiful Turkish Steps and the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. In reality, the view is even more beautiful than in the photos. Tip to the host: an extra spare key. When I left for the supermarket one time with the house key, the electricity and thus the air conditioning etc. went off automatically. In itself very environmentally friendly, but sometimes not convenient if one of the two goes out of the house. Care is friendly and is there to give you a nice stay. He arranged cake for me wife her birthday.

We loved the stay. 👍👍 The grounds are very beautiful with a great environment/landscape around it. In addition, the grounds are optimally maintained. Our 2-person room was also nice. It was clean and tidy. We were even greeted by the hostess with a homemade cake. The only point where we do not give 5 stars is the location in terms of accessibility to sights. The nearest town, Sciacca, is not far away, but you have to drive quite a distance to reach the well-known sights of Sicily. Therefore, a rental car/car is definitely recommended at the accommodation. The two hosts made a very pleasant impression. Communication was very easy via the Airbnb app's messenger and you always got quick answers. All in one, we definitely recommend the accommodation! If you have a car, it's definitely worth it! We wish the hosts all the best! 😊🙏

We spent an unforgettable week at Monica's, the place is quiet with a magnificent view of the sea and the horizon from the terrace/pool. Monica's residence and the outbuilding are typically Italian, that's all we were looking for. In addition, the dog is adorable and Milo the cat is just as adorable, he will ask you for a lot of petting. But be careful not to pet it in front of the dog, which will let you know its displeasure. And if you want to eat the best pizzas of your life, I recommend the Don Coccio pizzeria (10 min drive). A place that doesn't look like much but is typically Sicilian!

It's a gorgeous old house. Beautifully maintained. It feels like a rogue in time as a guest. May was especially cold this year, so it's a good idea to bring warm clothes, as the evenings and mornings were cool. Very comfortable beds. We slept like children. I highly recommend this place. It's too big for 2 people, but it was worth it.

Just perfect. There were so many small thoughtful details of equipment that made our stay feel like we’re staying at a real home rather than an half empty Airbnb. The photos looked already promising but we were shocked that the house looks even better in real life! The cars didn’t bother us much, as you can just close the doors if you want complete silence.

To be honest, at first, we were a bit worried that the house might be too far out, but the warm welcome we received from Patrizia and Damiano, combined with the stunning beauty of the house, immediately made us feel we had made the right decision. Everything was spotless, with fresh, clean linens and towels that smelled amazing. From the beautifully landscaped garden to the carefully curated decor throughout the house, every detail reflected thoughtfulness and a great sense of aesthetics. We especially loved the paintings by Valentina on the walls. It was a perfect stay—thank you again for everything! We recommend this place.

Lovely little cottage with a lovely private outdoor area. The pool is great. Biagio is very kind and the communication was impeccable. We got very tasty cakes on the day of arrival and departure. An attention that we were very happy about. The place was sparkling clean! You should have a car to easily reach the beach, restaurants and supermarket.

To stay at “Oasi delle Sallinelle” is a one of a kind experience, in anyway - inside and out! You can have a private and relaxed time at the property and its connected beach as well as cultural and culinary excursions in Cefalù! You’ll be surrounded by a precious, natural and wild environment, although your NOT in the middle of nowhere and there’s a lot of lovingly designed rooms and spaces for comfort and coziness. We felt at home, relaxing inbetween gardens of fruits, olives, cuddling kittens and two sweet dogs, that gonna melt your heart. Dario e Agnes are the most lovely and committed hosts, we could have dreamed of. They try to fulfill every wish, in such a warm and friendly way, that let us participate so easily and get sustainably connected to this special place, its animal and human inhabitants! 🥰We’ll come back as soon as possible and recommend, to all the people, that enjoy an individual, natural but also comfy vacation, to do the same! I can definitely recommend to stay at Francesca house - she was very welcoming during the checkin, provided tips for best local groceries and restaurants and showed us every small detail around the house - Everything in the house itself is so well thought! House has a great location with perfect view and proximity to a lot of necessities and tourist attractions, pool is of a perfect size and it has a perfect view point on a roof for a perfect coffee time House was very clean, there was everything you may need to start cooking straight away Air conditioners work well, mattresses and pillows were comfortable Onsite parking can easily host multiple cars Thank you for a perfect stay!

We stayed at Bartolo's house last week. Clean and comfortable home and very peaceful area. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the veranda from which we saw beautiful sunsets over the sea. We received a great welcome from Bartolo and his wife and they also offered us the very tasty cunzato bread as well as all the tips on restaurants, hikes and places to visit. Having spent a wonderful week we hope to return! Laura Marica and Simona.

We had one of the most memorable stays in our travel experience, at Francesco's house. Set in a beautiful remote location but a short drive to the nearest town, with the vineyards as your garden and mount Etna as the backdrop. The house and all the amenities in it were spotless. We were traveling with a toddler and were kindly offered a crib. And otherwise, there was everything we needed at the house. Francesco greeted us in Gaggi and led us to the house, but you can also find it easily on Google Maps. The house has no neighbors and the area is very quiet and peaceful, except for some birds and cows outside the gate. The biggest highlight of our stay, of course, was Francesco's and his family's generosity in telling us about the area, offering oranges from the garden and making us feel like part of the family. We'll never forget our time here - thank you!

Margherita’s place is just amazing. We spent 3 nights there with my husband and our 2.5 year old son and it was perfect in every way. So lovely drinking coffee outside in the morning, looking at the beautiful views arounds. The surroundings are beautiful, great for kids to play around. He especially loved the chickens and doggies around. Kitchen was well equipped and the whole place was clean and smelled amazing. Margherita gave us great tips of what to explore and what restaurants to try out. Thanks so much!

Beautiful dammuso, extremely well maintained, clean and with stunning views. Quiet location, but convenient for reaching all the places of interest. The owner Marcello was super helpful and kind to meet our requests. We left a piece of our heart in Pantelleria.

Rosario's place is exactly as it is advertised in the best possible way. The house is amazing, cozy and has a chill vibe. The garden is perfect for relaxing and the pool was just perfect and clean as well. The place is well equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Rosario is also really friendly and helpful, he always helped us out with all the question and requests we might have had. Thank you.

Nonna Giuseppina House is a wonderful location and matched any description given on Airbnb. You have a great view of the sea and a wild and empty beach close to the house. The house is authentically furnished, big and beautiful. Each room has its own bathroom which suited us perfectly. Bruno and Licia were very responsive, helpful and caring. We had a great time.

Great host and an incredible place. Agata was very attentive and responsive if you have any questions. We spent our last day exploring Polizzi Generosa which is a hidden gem. We did some research to learn about the history, and it definitely enhances the whole experience while you enjoy some delicious sweets from a local cafe. Many well-know people are from here, including the designer of Dolce & Gabbana. 😉 The house is well-equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom. The bedroom could use some modernization, and we found the mattress a bit too soft. But I guess that’s personal preference. The view from the balcony of the house? Truly priceless.
