Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sicily

This beautiful home truly is a little paradise nestled into the quiet Sicilian countryside. Martina and her family are very generous and welcoming and we were able to cook dinner using vegetables from the garden on several occasions. The pool is very refreshing and there are lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun amongst the lemon trees and olive grove. The home itself has everything you need, including a very comfy bed and the outdoor covered area was ideal for enjoying meals in the natural surroundings. This is the perfect air BnB for dog lovers, and we loved spending time with the amazing Duchessa and her puppy! We hope to return soon :)

What a pleasure to have stayed in Diego‘s wonderful and peaceful home surrounded by such a lovely neighbourhood. We loved the rustic flair of the place and appreciated the materials/elements/shapes/colours Diego embedded into this lovely cave. You can tell that Diego has a good eye for things. Diego is also an excellent host and gave us tips for hikes to particularly beautiful places and more. Since we visited lovely Scicli during Mai/June and experienced the garden in full bloom, it was such a soothing oasis - the special gem. The shower space, design and experience is incredible and comes with a view to the sky. It's the big little things that make it so special: the tableware in the kitchen, pictures placed, furniture telling stories from the past and the wonderful places created. The floor in the ground was so very special for us, since the kitchen floor merges into the stone. If someone happens to have the same preference, it’s highly recommended to walk the floor barefoote

Stunning views from this wonderful apartment. Best outdoor patio for dining and views of the coast. Super clean and comfortable! Marco was an excellent host always available and provided great local knowledge. We will be back!

You could not find a better place to stay in Taormina, close to everything yet quiet & peaceful when you needed a break - the house itself is exquisite & Laura is the loveliest host. Big call, but Casa Oasi goes close to being the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in 😘

Heaven on Earth! The accommodation is so beautiful and unique. The house is located on a mountain surrounded by nature and tranquility. It is equipped with everything you need. The apartment is as described, has a great view of the city and is easy to find thanks to Giancarlo's information, including free parking. We received valuable tips from him and felt very comfortable in this pretty apartment. A lot of heavy luggage or problems climbing stairs make the stay more difficult. Otherwise, a booking is absolutely recommended.

Great stay at Lara's, nice accommodation, clean and well decorated. Located right next to Taormina, accessible by car and bus. Right by the sea, you will be lulled by the waves! Accessible after a gate without too much difficulty by car then you have access to a covered parking space. Lara is very friendly! We recommend!

Beautiful space to come back to each day. Especially loved the patio to relax at every morning and night. Just a couple of steps away to one end of Corso Umberto where most of the shops and restaurants are at. Paola's dad was very helpful and friendly from checking us in to giving us reccomendations and booking a taxi for us. Thanks!

Livios place is a hidden gold mine in Stazzo. It was so perfect for what we wanted. A peaceful balcony by the sea with access to the water and a view of Etna. Livio was kind, warm, and insightful. He explained the village to us and even provided a helpful map of where to go. We would recommend to anyone and will be returning soon (we hope!!)

We received an excellent welcome from Giuseppe. The apartment has large rooms, the decoration and comfort are great! Free parking nearby. Nice little balcony. The neighborhood is quiet at night and typically Italian, we loved it. There are small shops in the alleys, people are very friendly and accommodating. This is our top accommodation. Well done Giuseppe.

Our stay in Taormina was absolutely unforgettable, and Sabrina's Airbnb was a true highlight of our trip. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the city center, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The views from the property were breathtaking, and we found ourselves pausing often just to take them in. The space itself was beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel both elegant and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base during our time in Sicily. Highly recommend!

Wow, absolutely love Daniela‘s place and the Panoramic Vista of the port, Costello and center of Aci Costello‘s Village is amazing from the huge well equipped Terrace. The penthouse had everything we needed for our stay and more! It’s worth the accent of stairs for a prize view from the terrace. We have found that the best gorgeous penthouse views in Italy and Sicily have stairs and with every effort! Enamored by and loved proximity of restaurants pastry shops, coffee bars, below in the village ! Eden bar pastry shop Gelateria amazing also restaurant PortoNuevo so adjacent. So many great places in the bustling quaint village. Just a 26 minute car trip to Catania to enjoy Local favorites Da Nittos seafood restaurant, Bar Quaranta pastry Gelateria the best local seafood and pastry shop in Catania plus Bar Europa. Taormina and Etna are very close as well for fun filled day trips. Daniela is a standout host and we thoroughly enjoyed our days in this Aci Costello penthouse !

Wonderful location and town. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time exploring Castellammare del Golfo, and Leonardo was always available for recommendations or help. If you’re planning to visit Sicily, this is a must visit location, and Leonardo’s place was a great property to spend our time there. It was quiet, well located and beautiful.

Ok, so many people mention the flights of stairs. so, ignoring that. the property is very quiet given it is in the heart of old town Palermo. Air con is effective, the property is smart/chic, the location is amazingly central with short walks to major sightseeing areas. We sat on terraced an soaked in the sun, the sounds and watched the Swifts soaring. Antonio was flexible and helpful. you should also take note of he's house recommendations for all local amenities... excellent. Grazie Antonio.

We loved our stay here - right near everything, walkable to the port and the beach and local shops. It was exactly as pictured and such a gem in the center of the area. The hot tub and terrace were extra special!

Antonio was such a good host, very responsive and helpful! He helped us a lot during our stay with some emergency we had and it was much appreciated! The apartment is beautiful, very much in the center of Cefalu and very unique.

Not only was it close to the absolute best restaurants, But this was some 5 star living, almost didn’t want to leave this place was so cool! A spa and little hang out up the top and great space to watch tv after a big day of sun. Definitely recommend Palermo staying here!! Couldn’t have done better! Beautiful place to stay! Lovely host!

I enjoyed a great stay at Federico's apartment which is located right in the historic center of Cefalu, just a few steps from the beach, the cathedral, shops and restaurants! It was a great experience to stay in one of those old houses in the narrow streets of the historic center and still enjoy all the amenities of a modern, newly refurbished apartment. The place was very comfortable, clean, nicely furnished with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bedroom is located in the back of the apartment and hence was very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the little balcony overlooking the narrow street of historic Cefalu. Federico is an extremely nice host, very responsive and helpful! He provided great recommendations for restaurants, and for wonderful Kalura beach at the edge of Cefalu! Thank you for a truly memorable stay in Cefalu and I hope to come back sometime soon! I highly recommend this place!

Gosh, what a way to spend a day and night. Sitting in the terraced gardens relaxing and watching the temples, eating a wonderful dinner across the road and then spending the night in the amazing renovated house which had everything. In the morning headed down the path for ten minutes to the temples. We got there right at 8.30 and basically had it to ourselves. Thankyou so much for meeting us and booking the restaurant and having such a wonderful place to stay. Only regret is we only stayed one night. A definite 5 star experience.

The condo is stunning—a truly amazing architectural experience. The only downside was having trouble unlocking the door; it would’ve been helpful to have an easier process or in-person assistance. Aside from that, we loved the stay—it was absolutely worth the money and experience.

Andrea was a wonderful host! His Airbnb was just as pictured, very clean, felt like home. It’s in the perfect location for the area, not directly in the hustle and bustle providing privacy and peace but still only a few short minute walks to everything. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked REALLY well. The best part of this Airbnb was meeting his adorable mom who loves to chat in Italian (we don’t speak a word) and her sweet dog Molly.

The apartment is lovely, looks exactly like the photos. Very nice beds, linen and towels. We were really happy with the place and the perfect location if you want to be in the centre of Palermo. Only issue is the noise. I thought it would be ok since we were there Sunday to Wednesday but it was very noisy every night. Possibly all of central Palermo would have the same problem. Also check the suitability of the stairs and railing if you have small children.
