Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sicily

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city then Lorenzos place is for you. Situated on a beautiful olive farm, amazing mini home with pool.. Perfect for my partner and I. Lorenzo also has the most delish olive oil !!

Lory's place is as described, the terrace is fantastic as are the views over the sea and to the horizon. There are a couple of good restuarants close by but you will need a car to fully enjoy the experience. A great quiet place to relax, unwind and get away from everyday life.

We highly recommend staying at Francesco's country house. It's very spacious and the view from the newly built veranda is wonderful. Don't be startled when Francesco wanders around the place as he is still very active on the land around the house. Thank you Francesco!

We have been in contact with Andrea's brother. We arrived in a fierce storm, but we still felt at ease through the contact with him. We received plenty of tips and we could go to him with all our questions. The cottage is beautifully located next to an orchard with the possibility to sit in the sun all day. Nice bed and a kitchen with all the necessities!

Roberto is a great host, he is very caring and supported us super with all questions. We always felt very comfortable. The house is in a fantastic location, on every level with great views of the sea. The highlight is the private access to the sea. The pool offers everything you need for a great holiday. Parking spaces are available on the property. We had a VW bus, a motorcycle and a small rental car with us. (and mountain bikes) The proximity to the airport was very convenient for us because we were there with the whole family and our children arrived at different times. You need your own car to be mobile. For us, it was perfect because we needed about 50 minutes to the climbing paradise San Vito del Capo and could also go to Palermo. The distance to the most beautiful places in West Sicily can be reached in <1 hour. The residential area is very quiet and well maintained and we always felt safe. Thanks to Roberto

We had an exceptional stay in this accommodation, perfectly in line with the listing. Located in the countryside, it offers absolute tranquility while being ideally placed to explore the northwest of the island. The hosts are of a rare kindness: warm welcome, small delicate touches, fresh fruit and even a well-stocked fridge on our arrival. The accommodation is typical, comfortable and very clean. Note the presence of some farm animals, such as dogs that can bark, but this adds to the rural charm of the place. Magnificent. Awesome. Amazing... How else can we describe the most beautiful pool garden we've ever encountered in many, many Airbnb accommodations? You'll love the views, sounds and smells of nature all around the house. Great showers, good beds, nice surroundings, very friendly welcome, easy communication, handy tips and good base for day trips to Palermo and Mondello Beach or Cefalù. If you're reading this review, know that you have just found the ultimate spot in North West Sicily, so don't hesitate to book it. You will not regret it. You'll get a fun, short, bumpy ride from the gate to the house to reach this wonderful house. We wanted to stay forever.

Marion’s place was absolutely beautiful, the pictures didn’t do the listing justice!! The place had views which were amazing to enjoy all day long and of an evening when everything is lit up. We were guests at Daniela's for the second time. The apartment is large has shabby charm, nothing is new, but it is somehow romantic. The location is perfect and we love the large roof terrace. It is totally quiet and you can hear and see the sea and you are still in the middle of the old town.

Helgas place exceeded our expectations. We had family of 7 and the apartment is spacious and very comfortable with an amazing view . The location is quiet whilst being only a few minutes walk from the town centre . We had a problem with the shower head and it was sorted within a couple of hours . Great service . Ferdinando's place is a niceapartment in the historic center of Palermo. The house has all the necessary services, communication with the co-host Giorgio was super, as was the kindness throughout the stay. We especially appreciated the recommendations. Recommended!

The apartment is BEAUTIFUL!! Our family of five, with three teens fit comfortably here. Plenty of space to have our time alone after three weeks of travel, that is needed sometimes. Loved being in the heart of old town Palermo just steps away from bars, food, grocery stores and sites. Totally walkable to a ton of sites. We lived to verandas. The host greeted us, took time to help us get settled, answered questions, we felt very welcomed! It is lively at night, and we didn’t mind hearing people enjoying themselves. Place is more beautiful in person! You won’t regret booking this place. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Beautiful home, felt like I was home. Attention to detail by the host- including water bottles in the fridge, coffee, napkins. Beautiful outdoor terrace. walkable distance from restaurants/ fisherman’s market/basilica- etc. highly recommend. I will return soon.

The villa is great, and the garden and pool are huge and very attractive, and also well maintained. Paul is an excellent host, friendly and responsive. You definitely need a car here as there are no pavements on the road outside the gates and the traffic whizzes along it. The local town, Trecastagni, is nice, with bars, restaurants and shops of all sorts. Overall our stay was excellent. The only downside was a building site next door that was noisy and created fumes and dust during the week, but I guess that won't be forever. Already missing it, the morning swim especially, and of course the sight (and sound) of Etna. Highly recommended. Visit Taormina while you're there. And try the Etna DOC wines.

Very new and nice place. Can fit a lot of people and has a pretty pool and views. We came with 5 people and had lots of space. Great patios and balconies overlooking views and nice seating throughout the house. Easy to get in and out with keys and a nice pizza place just opened up a 2 minute walk from the house. Would recommend staying here. The host also helped find pizza delivery, and a taxi for us when needed.

Great place to stay with wonderfull view. Still small Things that can be improved but as is it is already a great place to stay. Lovely to be able to pick your own fruits, maybe Vincenzo can consider chickens for fresh eggs in the morning :), that would make the experience complete.

Alberto was a fantastic, friendly host. He gave us reccomendations, booked us a great value return taxi and even taught us how to make pizza! The villa had a breath-taking view and it felt like our own little mountain retreat. The only downside is that the driveway is very steep and long - we had to leave our rental cars at the bottom of the road (and scratched one car from attempting to drive up it!). But, if you're ok with a steep walk up, then don't let it put you off staying in the beautiful location.

My family and friends had a simply wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. We chose it because it was a little further off the beaten path and more “authentic old Italian villa” feeling than other places in Sicily. And it delivered exactly the experience we were looking for and more. The villa itself was spacious and yet adorable. Huge old and beautiful windows and doors to bring the outside in. Had everything we needed. The views and outdoor space around the villa were also so lovely and enjoyable. Beautiful little olive orchard. Terraces and outdoor entertaining spaces galore. The game room and pool were awesome for our kids. The pool is unheated, but warm enough to use mid April. But the best part about this villa was the experiences Rosario coordinated for us. We had 2 nights where a chef came over to cook us dinner. The chef turned out to be the neighbor, who cooked the most delicious Sicilian meals we’ve had. She also arranged a visit to a farm and limoncello maker. Amazing!

We had the absolute pleasure to stay at Caterinas house to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary with 4 other adults. I chose this listing because the pictures looked like such a romantic house. Arriving to the island of Sicily was breathtaking, and let me tell you, once we arrived to the house, I was speechless. Caterina was there to greet us with such a warm hug. Entering the house stopped me in my tracks. The house exudes romance and actually brought me to tears. It has the perfect quintessential Sicilian decor and charm. The view from the terrace will mesmerize you. It faces West so you will have some of the most spectacular sunsets with views of Sferracavallo in the peripheral. All 6 of us found the mattresses extremely comfortable. The house is fully stocked with everything you might need for a perfect vacation. Caterina is an amazing host. She loves her house and it shows. We will be back! If you want perfection, make her house yours while visiting Sicily.
