Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Shaldon

A fabulous home with beautiful views. The house was fully equipped, including lots of useful items in the kitchen as well as games, books & toys for the children (aged 1 and 4). We were able to check in early and check out late which was brilliant. Thank you for a great stay! :)

We had the most wonderful stay at the Little Barn! The surroundings are beyond beautiful and the location is very peaceful. We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed lots of time soaking up the countryside in the lovely outdoor area (lots of visits from the little cats saying hello too!). The inside was small but extremely well thought out so never felt cramped and there was plenty of space for the two of us. It was well located for everything we needed from trips to the coast, exploring the national park and visiting the quaint little towns and villages nearby. Overall we had a brilliant stay, thank you Fran, the Little Barn is an absolute gem!

Great place. Spacious living area with everything we needed. Cafes and bakeries within 2 min walk + amazing playground. Would def stay again.

Splendour House was just what we expected for an extended family holiday in Paignton. All facilities were available which was good as the weather was not what we’d hoped for. Tom is a great host and would recommend Splendour House to large families for its location and enclosed back garden. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Tom & Co.

Tilly's is such a beautiful little place! Me and my boyfriend went for a little getaway for 4 nights and we were so impressed with Tilly's. Julie and Keith were great hosts and have done an amazing job with creating such a beautiful place. Julie was so attentive and helpful, easy check-in and out too. The private garden with a nice hot tub and fire place was lovely whilst watching the sunset. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect place for a couple. Centrally located for whole of South Hams area. Really quiet. The host was really welcoming. Accommodation was really well presented and spotlessly clean. Super bathroom and a really comfortable bed. We’d certainly stay there again!

We had a lovely stay, the property was very clean and comfortable and it felt like home. Very peaceful with beautiful views. Easy walk into the centre of Chudleigh where you will find several good pubs.

Really lovely stay in a great place so close to the beach ( 2 mins walk). The apartment was very clean and had all we needed for a short stay. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was good. Jaquine provides a fridge of provisions, including a bottle of Prosecco, which was a lovely addition and very welcome. Communication from Jaquine was excellent. The Start Bay Inn is popular and very good especially the fish dishes and Stokeley Farm shop and cafe is also within walking distance.

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

We had a fab stay here for a few days. Amazing location, well equipped kitchen and bed incredibly comfortable. We recommend following the South West coastal path for anyone wishing to take a good walk - it's beautiful.

Myself, my husband and our little boy stayed last week and what can we say. We were blown away! Kate and Kieron are amazing! The apartment was beautiful, so well kept, clean and tidy. There was an information pack when we arrived with bits to do, housekeeping bits, even takeaway places! There was a welcome basket for us with fresh fruit, crisps, cookies and a lovely card. Kate had even went above and beyond and left a card, beer and chocolate for my husband for his birthday! The communication throughout the trip was amazing, we felt so welcome. We felt very safe staying there which was a big one for us having a little boy. Kate had made sure that she had put a basket of toys in the apartment for our little boy too. We could not have asked for a better host. The directions of how to get there and how to check in were brilliant! If you are looking for somewhere in Torquay I would highly recommend here, don’t go anywhere else!! We will definitely be back!!

Rockpool is a wonderful place to stay! Kay is a friendly, helpful and generous host. We appreciated the lovely treats left in the fridge for us. The location is peaceful and quiet and the accommodation is comfortable, very clean and well equipped.

Another fabulous stay here. We always enjoy our time at Louise’s place. As always, extremely clean, well stocked, and lovely little personal touches and amazing views. Louise is always very helpful, lots of great recommendations. We will be back!

Fabulous apartment, extremely clean, spacious with quality fittings. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need. The location of the apartment is amazing, sea views to front and views of the nature reserve to the back. The balcony with seating was a great addition which we used every night to watch the sunset. We've stayed at quite a few places in South Devon and this was certainly the best and made for an amazing holiday. Private parking was an added bonus. Hope to be back.

A fabulous place for our stay. Quiet and private but close to all amenities which meant that we could walk everywhere. The apartment had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly friendly, warm, and easy to talk to — they made me feel welcome right from the start. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and they were always available for any questions or local tips. The flat was spotless, well-equipped with everything I needed, and very comfortable. The location is excellent — within walking distance of everything — and having a safe parking space was a huge plus. They’re truly thoughtful and attentive hosts who clearly care about their guests. Great location for exploring the local area. Town center property but very quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to a good selection of shops and restaurants. Great to have a parking space in town and easy access to main road routes in and out of the area.

Stunning apartment set in beautiful grounds with easy parking directly outside the door. Every room is beautifully furnished and the kitchen superb. We enjoyed spending time in the kitchen/diner and the garden room so much we didn't actually use the living room on our stay! The walk into Torquay would be very strenuous, (especially the uphill return!) so would advise driving instead. Communication with Josh was excellent.

This really is a gem of a place. So stylish yet homely. It is off a fairly bisy road, but you didn’t notice that at all when inside. It’s a little oasis with a beautifully mature garden. We slept really well and would stay here again without any questions. Parking was super easy too.

The flat was in a perfect location for marina, beach and the strand with local bars, cafes and local places to eat. The kitchen super equipped with everything. Super comfy bed lovely towels and plenty of them. Could not have been more pleased when we arrived. Would definitely book again without hesitation if we returned to exmouth. Beautiful apartment with stunning views. brand new bathroom with walk in shower and lovely Neal's Yard products which smell amazing. Welcome pack of food goodies including milk, butter, croissants cheese, jam, marmalade and a bowl full of fresh fruit. Couldn't have asked more from our hosts Lynne and Neal.
