Holiday rentals with a patio in Shaldon

What an amazing stay, Dominic was really helpful and patient with all my pre arrival questions and during our stay. Response time was really good. Dominics place was really clean and clear of clutter exactly what we needed for our trip. We spent the weekend kayaking, visiting lots of beaches and the Paignton airshow. so central for attractions. Needed a large space to come back to at the end of the day and unload beach gear before setting off again, the living area was perfect. Really recommend Dominics place

We loved staying at Louise’s place. It was the perfect base for my husband’s sailing event and a short walk down to the harbour where there were lots of shops/cafes/restaurants. The apartment was extremely well equipped, very clean and spacious - certainly enough space for x4 adults and a couple of little ones. Louise was kind enough to leave a travel cot and highchair for our youngest. The parking was very handy too. We had a fantastic time in Torquay and will certainly be back.

It is a very quiet location with great views of the coast and sea. A short hilly walk into Dawlish where the river runs through and the black swans swim. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful place and perfect location. Would be tricky for anyone with mobility issues due to number of steps, but it certainly gave our legs a work out.

Great little stay wanted something easy to get into the city and to the party location so was perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice the place was stylish stunning and so cozy. Lovely little touch of music playing and pastries on arrival. Fantastic place way better than a hotel and cheaper.

Everything about this accommodation was lovely. All the linen, towels etc appeared brand new and the accommodation was so clean. Loved the outdoor area with table and chairs. So nice to sit in the sun having our breakfast, looking at the lovely garden. We didn't cook at all in the kitchen, but it seemed to have everything you would need. Would highly recommend.

fabulous property in a wonderful location. property is spacious and having 2 double bedrooms, both with modern ensuites was a real bonus. The space is open plan making it very sociable and it's beautifully decorated. The location is superb. Directly opposite is the walk through opening to get down to Babbacoombe beach. our dog loved his beach swim and we enjoyed bacon rolls and coffee on the beach. lot's of lovely places to eat within walking distance and a short drive to so many other places of interest. we'd definitely stay again.

Great modern home, lots of space with bathrooms for each floor. Super clean and tidy. We didn't stay long but would be more than happy to stay again for longer in future.

Perfect place for a couple. Centrally located for whole of South Hams area. Really quiet. The host was really welcoming. Accommodation was really well presented and spotlessly clean. Super bathroom and a really comfortable bed. We’d certainly stay there again!

The Italian Garden is a magical respite. Down a tiny country road, near mostly farmland and hills, you’ll find this incredible hideaway. We arrived at night and will admit didn’t do much research before booking (although there’s a lot of info online if you search theitaliangarden)- so were shocked to find that this gorgeous home is nestled just in front of nearly four acres of a phenomenal private garden that you often have to yourself. Words can’t do it justice … just go! The house itself has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you can imagine to cook or bake. There’s a gas fireplace for cold nights, and an outdoor fire bowl. Every bit of the house is luxurious and comfortable. It’s in an extremely quiet part of southern Devon, but just a 15 minute drive from bustling Totnes with unique restaurants and shops. There are many other nearby towns to explore, and Dartmoor is also very close by for gorgeous walks and landscape. Our week flew by - we can’t more highly recommend i

We had such a wonderful time at this lovely Airbnb. The property was cosy, clean, and beautifully presented—perfect for a relaxing countryside escape. It’s tucked away in a quiet village setting, but still close to Exeter and the stunning South Devon coastline. The hosts were warm and welcoming, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the peaceful mornings, local walks, and the village charm Kenton has to offer.

The garden was AMAZING. We trekked the back yard to the sea which was amazing for us but will not be for everyone, as it is a tricky walk through...but lovely. Like and endless fairy garden/forest. The local town was nice. lots of room in the home which would be great for larger parties as well. Everything was clean, beds/bedding were comfortable, had everything we needed, and we enjoyed ourselves. My favorite was the deck and the main floor bedroom window seat!!!!! With those side windows open, that window seat with a good cup of coffee or that deck with the same....priceless!!! But that garden....endless and beautiful.

The house is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully designed, spacious and had everything we needed. The whole house was immaculate. The cove is a short walk away, we also enjoyed the walk in to the harbour. Josh was quick to respond to a couple of questions I had and very helpful. This place is a true delight, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

A fabulous place for our stay. Quiet and private but close to all amenities which meant that we could walk everywhere. The apartment had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The little gifts left for us were the extra touch that made it even better. Thank you so much - we will definitely be back again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a stay in Brixham.

Diana was the perfect host and couldn’t do enough to make our stay just as perfect. The accommodation was pristine and exceeded expectations. The gardens were peaceful and tranquil. I can’t rate this property highly enough and would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a convenient location for surrounding areas. We were there for a wedding so can’t comment on the wider area and what’s on offer.

Fantastic Air BnB - If I could give a higher rating for cleanliness I would - Didn't see Neil much but from what I did he was super lovely - Everything you require is in the vicinity - The decor is fantastic - Neil's place is very high up on the hill but taxi ranks are always available and only takes about 5 minutes to get from seafront - Lovely walk down, but you're a brave one if you attempt the walk up!! If i were to make one suggestion I'd put some leaflets maybe of takeaways or local things to do or taxi numbers on the table as we had to use our phones but not everyone will have a mobile phone or internet access - I would come back within a heart beat as it was a fantastic stay and couldn't ask for more!

I really should say something horrible to put people off... so that my wife and I can book it whenever we want to!! However.... it was a fantastic apartment, with great facilities, everything we needed and a few extra things we weren't expecting, which made it really special. Parking under cover was a real bonus. And the location was simply perfect. Close to the beach, the station, and the town. Can't wait to go again (if you don't all beat me to it!)

Great little place near central Exeter. Easy to walk to anywhere you’d want to go and the space was very clean.

Another lovely stay at Palmdene. This place really is home from home and so comfortable. Love being able to stare out to see from both the kitchen and the living room. Everything we need is there. Great place for going onto Paignton beach (approx 10 mins) or go over the top and head to Goodrington beach, it will take a bit longer but the views are stunning. Booking again very soon.
