Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Schmalkalden-Meiningen

For our annual family reunion with six adults and one child, Lucia's cottage was perfect. There was everything we needed and we felt very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are plenty of excursion options in the surrounding area. Kulmbach is not far away, Bayreuth is also easily accessible. A special highlight for us was a visit to Lucia's nearby farm with just born adorable little calves.

Great apartment, friendly proactive approach with useful hints and tips, fully equipped and stylishly furnished apartment, great comfortable king-size bed, no carpet (suitable for allergy sufferers). Wonderful house, very nicely decorated, you immediately feel at home. The kitchen is super well equipped as well as the rest of the house! It's great for kids too, since there's a lot of equipment. From dishes to toys and travel cribs. You can take super nice walks in the area. We would book it again, thank you very much!

The hostess was super nice and often sought personal contact, which we really liked. She was practically always available to us for questions or similar. The house is exceptionally well equipped for a vacation home with everything the family needs. The location is very quiet and therefore we were able to relax well. Definitely recommended!

This place is really phenomenal: it is extremely lovingly and comfortably furnished, the kitchen is really equipped with everything you need and the view from the terrace is simply magnificent. I spent some wonderful days here and also enjoyed the beautiful surroundings while hiking. Big plus: you can also get there by public transport /bus.

My girlfriends and I had a perfect weekend at Katharina's place. The cottage is furnished with a lot of love and heart and has everything you need, including the terrace (our favorite place) with wonderful views of the countryside and sunset. We felt right at home and especially enjoyed the countless games to discover. :) The communication with Katharina was great and with her warm manner, which is also reflected in the house, she made our stay perfect. We would come back any time and can only recommend it to anyone who would like to spend a small get-away weekend in nature.

We were there with 4 adults and 2 small children and had a very nice and relaxing stay. It had everything we needed. Also a crib and high chair. There was enough space for everyone and the amenities were of very high quality. Besides, it was very clean and the garden is totally beautiful. We will be happy to come back. 😊

Hello, we stayed at Axel and Cindy's apartment for the second time and were mega happy again! It couldn't be better -:) Great location, nice and quiet, this time have also been able to enjoy the great terrace in the sun. We look forward to next time .

Kerstin is a super nice person and very hospitable. The apartment is in the middle of the old town, close to the Fischnarkt/City Hall tram stop and is very lovingly furnished. Restaurants, bakeries, cafes, ice cream parlors are all within walking distance. We felt very comfortable and would book again on a next visit to Erfurt. The 1-room apartment is really optimally furnished. You have everything you need, even in the small kitchenette. The beds were very comfortable! Ideal as a starting point for hiking.

We stayed here 5 nights. The apartment is lovely, cosy and comfortable. We had all we needed for our self-contained stay. Supermarkets and tram stops are close by. We chose to walk into Erfurt Old Town - easy 40 minute walk. Safe street parking outside apartment. Ellen was friendly and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a great stay Ellen and Ilona. Our weekend trip to Erfurt was perfectly rounded off by Christiane's wonderful accommodation. The apartment is extremely tasteful and furnished with great extras (coffee machine, stereo system, etc.), is flooded with light during the day through the many windows and has a spacious roof terrace where you can have breakfast wonderfully in the sun. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back! :)

It was a very nice weekend, with barbecues and campfire. There was nothing missing and I can only recommend the house to everyone. Peace and quiet and yet close to the city... perfect :)

Super nice apartment with excellent amenities and even external blinds in all rooms! The contact in advance with co-host Marcel was very nice and even a very short-term early check-in due to an unexpectedly shorter arrival was possible without any problems. The apartment is quiet yet within walking distance of the center. The furniture individually designed by Marcel is a dream and a vacation read was quickly found in the well-stocked bookshelf. Everything was spotless and, just in case, replacement bed linen, towels, etc. were available. In the kitchen there was dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, dishcloths and sponges, but also coffee and filter bags, in the bathroom shower and hair detergent, toilet paper - everything else you would otherwise bring from home or still have to buy. Each room is lovingly furnished with a lot of sense for detail and yet not overloaded. Dear Susi and dear Marcel, I'd love to come back and clearly recommend you!

Juliane's place was the perfect place for us extended Easter weekend! The rooms are nicely furnished and you have a view of a beautiful garden. The kitchen is well equipped and children are also thought of (child protection in sockets, children's books). Very comfortable beds as well!
