Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Schmalkalden-Meiningen

Superb stay at Helge’s place which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Great apartment, friendly proactive approach with useful hints and tips, fully equipped and stylishly furnished apartment, great comfortable king-size bed, no carpet (suitable for allergy sufferers). Great as a starting point for long hikes. Many thanks to Monika for the friendly and helpful communication and for providing an absolutely beautiful and fully equipped apartment.

We were two with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, beautifully furnished and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are directly on the property. This took a bit of nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her that the goats would not be eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

Sandar and Hans are very nice - we had no problems on arrival and departure, everything went smoothly. The house is in a well-maintained condition and very clean. The kitchen was great! The communication was top notch. The house has a quiet and private location - beautiful view of the village. The surroundings are very beautiful and super suitable for small hiking tours. The garden invites you to relax and barbecue. Shops and restaurants in Großbreitenbach are about 8 minutes away by car. All in all, it was a very pleasant and quiet stay. We'll be back!

A beautiful place to relax & discover. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The holiday home is very cozy with a lot of attention to detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

Our time with Eileen and Michael was great! All as described and super nice hosts! We are very happy about the time in Haus Relax and will be very happy to come back.

The stay was really nice. The property is immersed in nature and has a lot to offer. Our highlights were the heated outdoor hot tub and the lower fireplace. When the weather is nice, you can hike wonderfully in the immediate vicinity, in bad weather the accommodation offers plenty of distraction. Highlighted is the protection of the property and the accommodation. I haven't felt so safe in any place so far. In addition, Manuela was very quick to respond to my messages and always a solution ready. Thanks for that!

The apartment in this beautiful area of Thuringia is very quiet, spacious and lovingly furnished, plus perfectly equipped with everything you need. The landlord is very friendly and always quick to reach. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

I spent 4 relaxing days with my boyfriend and my parents. We were able to enjoy the place in the different weather conditions. On the sunny days, we enjoyed the lovingly landscaped garden with grilled food and babbling brooks, and on the rainy days, we went to the city centre, which is within walking distance. Due to the late check-in time, the nearby supermarket was closed, Kathrin was very enthusiastic about helping to prepare food in advance. The house is very spacious and well-equipped, making people feel as comfortable as living in their own home. The garden and lawn outside the window is a very relaxing and recommended quality listing

Very nice, quiet apartment. You can easily walk to the old town and also easily get to the various hiking starting points. The check-in was super uncomplicated, in addition we were picked up by the dear mom with umbrella at the car. Thank you very much for that :) All in all, the stay at Rocco's was very nice and we definitely recommend the apartment.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment has everything you need for a few days' holiday. The location is quiet and beautiful. From the balcony, you can partially see the greenery. I really enjoyed it. We were there with a 2-year-old child. She enjoyed the garden we were allowed to share. Thanks again for that. The contact with the landlady was great. Response to questions via Airbnb SMS always came pretty quickly and friendly.

We had a wonderful time, the apartment was cozy and we felt very comfortable. Our hosts were pleasant and we had interesting conversations. The area is great for hiking and it is pleasantly quiet. We will be happy to come back.

Was really a nice deal! For the price, the place was good enough. We got the fireplace nearby which we enjoyed. Play options for kids and adults. Other guests were very friendly and my son found a friend as well 😊 Overall it’s a great experience for our family!

Super, cosy and in the middle of the forest. Perfect for relaxing, if you love peace and quiet. Soft and comfortable bed. We slept great here. You can also see the starry sky at night. We didn't hear anything from neighbours.

We stayed for a week in Michaels house in Schnepfenthal. The house is all you need for a stay with 2 kids. Spacious, full furnished kitchen, big sunny garden, a bath and a big TV with Netflix :) Loads of interesting spots for us geographers in the Geopark where Schnepfenthal is located. Nearby Gotha and Erfurt. Located in a quiet village on walking distance to a great restaurant Zur Tanne and Waltershausen town where supermarkets etc are located. A place to come back to!

Very nice cottage, pure idyll. If you are looking for pure nature and peace, you are in good hands there. Directly around you can make beautiful tours in the Thuringian forest. We would have preferred to move in. Small and fine! Thank you!

Those who expect luxury here are wrong. If you want to escape everything, this is the place to be. All necessary things such as TV and coffee maker are included. Mega beautiful cabin that is rented by a mega family.

Were passing through. A good place to stay if you want to explore the area. Even in the evening you could end the evening on the slope in front of the accommodation.

Very quiet and nice staff.

We were motorcyclists. There is enough space to park and for activities on the property. The outdoor shower and the campfire area were my highlight. In addition, the terrace on which there was sun and shade from morning to evening. Also very good in terms of traffic and yet very quiet. Hannes was very friendly and accommodating.
