Holiday rentals with a sauna in Schmalkalden-Meiningen

We (two couples on cycling holidays) felt very comfortable. Everything well maintained and well equipped. We could safely store the bikes in the garage. Very nice terrace. Langenbieber is also ideal as a starting point for the bike rides (Fulda, Wasserkuppe, Point Alpha, Noahs' sailing, Milseburg bike path anyway). Mr. Harnier is also a very pleasant and helpful host.

We were here for the second time and again completely satisfied! 🤗 The accommodation is very clean, lovingly furnished and absolutely family-friendly – ideal for a relaxing holiday with a child. The surroundings in Franconian Switzerland are beautiful and perfect for excursions with the whole family – whether hiking, small discovery tours or leisurely walks. The hosts Irmgard and Roman are incredibly likeable, helpful and warm. They are also happy to give great tips for activities in the region. We felt very comfortable again and will definitely come back!

The apartment is located on the edge of a small village, from where you can start walks and hikes directly. One of the family's two horse farms is a 2-minute walk away, the other is in the village and is also within walking distance. For children, both the horse farm and the proximity to nature (forest and meadows) are very appealing, there is the possibility of petting horses and pony rides. The large apartment is super equipped with everything and for families with children (high chair, games, books, building blocks, baby stop for the bed) and has a sauna and a piano as highlights. I was there for three days with my daughter and three grandchildren and can highly recommend this accommodation: Very friendly owners, quiet rural surroundings, you immediately come down and find time and muse.

Florian’s apartment was perfect for visiting my grandma in Germany. The place is very close to many restaurants and the square. It is also a five minute walk to the main castle in Fulda as well as the Cathedral. I truly loved staying there and it had everything we needed. Our host was always responsive to any questions we had. This is a great place to truly be immersed in the culture of Germany!

We were in Mühlhausen over the weekend for a sporting competition. We were a little too early, then waited briefly and were able to enter the accommodation before the actual check-in (time). Everything was as described, modern and inviting. In the bedroom, there was a blackout option for the window, with the window closed it was very quiet in the apartment (street is right in front of the house) At check-out, everything was pretty straightforward. I wrote a short message and Stefan apologised for the circumstances. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I would book it again.

Beautiful, large and clean apartment. It has everything you need. Even toys for the little ones were there. The sauna is great. We felt completely comfortable and had a great time! Thank you for that!

We were very happy with the place. The only thing would be that the table in the kitchen and the table outside for 10 people at the same time is a little small, but we still managed to do it well Steven was always available and also stopped by and gave good tips for activities. Our stay at Lohmanns Landhaus zum See was just wonderful! The combination of tranquility, comfort and wellness inspired us. The classic sauna and the easy-to-use hot tub ensured pure relaxation. The large terrace with sauna, hot tub and a cozy igloo to warm up was a real highlight. Sitting by the fireplace in the evening rounded off the day perfectly. We really liked the decor in the cozy country house style. Alex and Bianca were always available, responded quickly and welcomed us warmly. Particularly helpful was the lovingly compiled book with tips on attractions, cycling and hiking trails as well as restaurants. The quiet surroundings were ideal for switching off, and we were able to relax optimally. An all-round perfect stay – we will be happy to come back and can highly recommend it!

We felt very comfortable with a group of 5 friends. The house is quietly located in beautiful nature. The large property invites you to linger and the apartment (normally used as a second home) has everything you need for a short trip to the Wasserkuppe. There are shopping facilities within a 5 km radius. Marion is proactive and communicative as a host. Accordingly, we lacked nothing.

My sister stayed with family for three nights at Ivonne's and they felt very comfortable. The apartment is really something special with all the antique furniture! The communication with Ivonne and also her husband worked very well...browsing the antique shop right next door was a lot of fun! You should perhaps know that the stairs up to the apartment are very steep, you should have a safe step. The garden is very enchanting, you can start hiking directly from there. Would love to come again.

There were three of us with Marc and his family. Marc has communicated super friendly via the app from the beginning. He accommodated us fairly in the additional costs of towels and bed linen. In addition, we were also allowed to use the water box in the house. Great service! To the accommodation: The detached house is very idyllic and offers a lot of space and possibilities. It's well-equipped overall. Our personal highlight was the sauna in the basement area. If you can visually do without a super modern accommodation, this is the place to be!

The accommodation is an absolute dream. There were 9 of us and we all liked it very much, no complaints, there is a lot of space, you can sleep very comfortably, the bathrooms are new and modern, there is a TV in every bedroom. The winter garden invites you to cozy evenings and the garden below with terrace is also very nice.. All in all, the accommodation is worth every cent!Thank you very much.

We had booked the place for a JGA with 13 people and were totally thrilled. The pictures don't even come across in the beginning, we are huge the house and also the garden. We had more than enough space to eat, get together and sleep. Since we had a chef in the group with us, the industrial kitchen could be used optimally. Again, there was no lack of amenities and cleanliness. The area offers enough opportunities for nice day trips and also a Rewe can be reached by car in 2 minutes. It was an all-round successful weekend, absolutely recommended!

We were there with a dog over New Year's Eve. Beautiful house, no frills, very well equipped kitchen (I have to mention it: sharp cutting knives), very cozy and soundproofed. Didn't even hear the blast. Host very nice, ostramondra seems to host many dogs, in our case there was a lot of barking in the neighborhood, which did not bother us.

The cottage is very cozy and practical. It is right on the edge of the forest, a great starting point for hiking. Silke and her husband are very hospitable. You could park directly in front of the property.

The stay at Sonja's was really perfect. The house is spacious and very cozy. We found everything we needed. There was even water and milk provided for us. There was still enough coffee. The kitchen is modern and equipped with everything you need. In the dining area at the large dining table, we started the day with a good breakfast and ended the evening with a convivial get-together. The bathroom also left nothing to be desired. There are plenty of sleeping places in the house, ideal for a family with children. Internet and TV worked great. Board games are available for exciting game nights. The terrace is very comfortable and quiet. The sauna is right next door, even though we didn't use it, it looked very inviting.
