Great place to stay and was clean and tidy! Responsive and friendly host who helped with recommendations!

Great location and wonderful place to stay. Very clean and well organised. Perfect if you’re staying with children. Only thing that we felt could be better for a weekend stay would be either earlier arrival time or later exit time.

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

Brilliant place to stay! Especially for families. Lot's to do on the resort, and a short dive away from coast! Jodie was a fantastic host! This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

It was our first time visiting cornwall and this was a great base for everything we wanted to do. Elga was a great host, and made things extremely easy for us. We couldn't have asked for a better place or host, so a massive thank you to Elga. I'm sure we'll return again one day!

Great communication from the host in the leadup to our stay and during. Asked to check in early and once the host had confirmed this was possible he promptly let us know so we could get settled. Great resort / location and good activities on resort. I expect we will be heading back in the near future.

We didn't spend alot of time there, due to the activities we had planned, but very comfortable and accommodating. Would stay again.

The cottage was beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped and beds were very comfy. Andy and Joanne were fantastic hosts, providing local recommendations and even sending information on exercise classes and sauna sessions Andy has started running, which I highly recommend! An absolute gem! We’ve just returned from Skiber Coth, and it truly is a stunning home. Jeremy was a fantastic host. Friendly, welcoming, and full of helpful information. Check-in was seamless, and the amenities were top notch! It really felt like a home away from home, so peaceful and quiet. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and we especially loved enjoying breakfast while taking in the gorgeous countryside views. We highly recommend this beautiful stay for anyone visiting Cornwall. It’s just minutes from the A30, making it a perfect base to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. We had an amazing stay! It was by far one of the cleanest Airbnb house we’ve stayed in. The house had everything you needed, plus the extra shortbread and milk that were left was a special touch! Jonathan also was super helpful and even let us go into the house early and have a late checkout. We definitely will be back! Thanks again 🙂

Excellent stay, exactly as described, with very friendly & accommodating host

Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at the Gem and everything about it was perfect - fully equipped, spotless + great location. In walking distance to some lovely restaurants in town or Fistral beach and Crantock beach. It is also a great location to explore other costal towns in Cornwall. If you have a paddleboard or Kayak I would recommend taking it as you can walk straight down to the waters edge from the property. Overall this was a 10/10 stay.

Highly recommend this cottage! We’ve already saved it for a return visit and have passed the details onto a number of family members & friends. Great location - so close to Padstow and a host of stunning beaches. Beautifully furnished. Wonderful outdoor space. Friendly & helpful hosts!

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

We had a wonderful stay at Nick and Laura’s property. It really does have the wow factor with impressive features and beautifully finished. Our children loved their high bed and being able to feed the chickens and collect their eggs! We loved the location of the property too, a rural location very close to Newquay/ watergate bay or our favourite beach which was Mawgan Porth. Nick and Laura are the perfect hosts, thank you! We would love to come back again :)

This townhouse was perfect for our long weekend with friends. Christine was very responsive and the whole trip was really smooth from start to finish. The view from the rooftop terrace and rooms was stunning too, and there were even some snacks for us to have when we arrived. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely rented house in Cornwall. The location was perfect — quiet, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. One of the standout features was the beautifully kept garden; it’s clear a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining it, and it added so much charm to the property. Inside, the house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in a stunning part of Cornwall!

We recently returned from an amazing three-night stay at this stunning home and cannot express enough how impressed we were. The décor is beautiful, with every detail in the home reflecting a high standard of quality. As a group of six, the house was perfect for us with it’s fabulous mix of comfortable/relaxing social spaces and split level bedrooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful living area with its gorgeous sea views and enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the lovely dining/kitchen space. The house is incredibly well-equipped, offering everything we could need and more. Although we couldn't explore some of the recommended local restaurants due to being in the local area for a music festival, we wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area in search of a luxurious stay. Communication with Iveta before, during, and after our trip was excellent, providing all the necessary instructions that we needed. Overall, we had an amazing time in this beautiful home!

We absolutely loved the apartment and had an amazing 5 days celebrating my father-in-laws 80th. There were 9 of us but there was more than enough room for us even when we had to hunker down with a movie on a wet day. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been trying to book this house for a while but timings and availability never lined up. It was well worth the wait. Fantastic properly, really well presented, clean, really well stocked kitchen for eating in, loads of living space, secure garden, list goes on 100% recommend, and would definitely book again. Access to the coastal path is really easy, which saved a lot of parking costs down at watergate bay for the week.

Amazing stay at the nest. The house is fabulous, very new and extremely well designed, both in layout and decor.. The house has quite an industrial feel about it, being on the site of the old foundry - I loved the black and white framed photos of the local areas (I located the shop and treated myself to one of Charlestown) . Super clean (I already gave Dan my compliments to his cleaner) very modern bathrooms and kitchen, with all amenities.. I think I counted 3 TV's, very comfortable bed, and WIFI seemed super fast. I am very picky about the places that I stay at, and this exceeded expectations. Dan was a brilliant host... he allowed my a slightly later check out and answered all of my questions within minutes. Also the fact he allowed my dog to stay was a plus point - always tough to find high quality places that allow your pets. Charlestown itself is lovely, plenty of choice with restaurants and pubs, and numerous little shops to while away your time.. thanks Dan 10/10

The road in and out of Golant takes nerves of steel. Just as well River Retreat is worth the drive. A beautiful, comfortable home with a fantastic view. It is beautifully decorated. Claire has an exceptional eye for detail. Everywhere I looked there was something of interest. Kitchen brilliantly equipped for meal prep. Another lovely week in Cornwall. Thank you Claire.
