Places to stay in Falmouth
The Riverside cabin is a truly hand-built home, made with love from the woodland that surrounds it.. A rustic Cornish getaway, only 15 minutes from Falmouth. With the sound of the wind in the leaves, the tinkling water and the crackling fire to relax you. We hope you will have a wonderfully memorable time.
The Cabin is set in a lovely woodland garden, with a firepit for outdoor cooking, swings and a stream to paddle in. It is situated next to a stream and woodland, near a quiet country road with great access to creeks, cliffs and beaches of Cornwall
The Cabin is just off a rural road between the thriving seaside/ harbour town of Falmouth, and the creeks and fishing villages of the Beautiful Helford River and the Lizard peninsula.
  • Great little place really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful craftsmanship.

  • Loved every minute of it. Super cute and cosy. Great location for exploring surrounding Cornish towns!

  • One of the most beautiful spaces I have been fortunate enough to spend time in, ever. The craftsmanship is exquisite and the love that ben has for wood is palpable. The communication was swift and straightforward. It is really a magical place. It is closer to a (v quiet) road than I expected but everything else (wood burner, swings, fairy lights etc) made up for it.

  • A magnificent experience! Very authentic and humble place with all the essentials and more. If you want something magical look no further! We loved every moment, specially the outside shower and waking up to birds singing and a steam flowing.

  • It was an absolutely amazing, well needed break away. It was peaceful and tranquil and we had a very relaxing time ( which is total opposite at home). The weather was crisp and cold but with some sun. I loved the swing and the fire pit and the outdoor shower was a great touch, something I never thought I would enjoy but I did... the photo album showing how it was built and all the other items Ben can build was a lovely touch. It was for my fiance 30th birthday. We have recommended to friends and we hope to stay again sometime soon. Thank you so much.

    Charlotte2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended! Excellent stay!

  • Beautiful little cabin very cosy and warm with fire! Shower would be perfect in summer but cold for winter months overall great place to stay!!

  • Exquisite getaway in the wilds of Cornwall, this cabin is an absolute must stay. Complete with log burning stove, outdoor fire pit and composting loo, this is really one for the outdoorsy adventurer who still loves a bit of home comfort. Suitable for couples or families, and with lots to do in the area with some great local pubs, cafes and attractions. Short drive to Trebah gardens, helford passage and the seal sanctuary at gweek to name a few. A perfect weekend, we didn’t want to leave. Thank you Ben x

With aged oak and natural tones the barn welcomes your tired feet to a stress and city-free escape. On the route between Falmouth and the Helford River, it comfortably fits a couple with a child.
This south facing barn offers year-round accommodation with self catering facilities for those who prefer an independent break. It comfortably accommodates 2 adults and a child; with a large double bedroom and small single room. (The bedrooms are within the pitch of the roof and may not be comfortable for someone over 6'2".) The spacious open plan kitchen/lounge has solid oak flooring and modern cooking facilities with more than adequate space for evenings in. The paneled bathroom is fitted with a shower, WC and basin, with a stone tiled floor and underfloor heating. The utility is fitted with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Guests will be provided with hand and bath towels along with a welcome pack including the essentials needed for self catering. We're willing to provide advice, so please don't hesitate to ask us recommendations for activities or restaurants. We live next to the barn and will be present most of the time.
Pennance Mill is a rural hamlet on the road between Falmouth and Mawnan Smith, with country walks and beaches nearby. It's only a short bus journey or taxi trip into Falmouth, which would cost no more than a few pounds.
  • Wonderful location, combining both quiet privacy with the convenience of a nearby beach and easy access to Falmouth and more. Very clean, suitably equipped for preparing, cooking and eating in with both adequate dining and relaxing space in the kitchen/diner/lounge. Comfy bed, roomy bathroom.....Even our fussy dog made himself comfortable.

  • Absolutely loved this cottage. Great location, walking distance to a lovely cove (with café, even in March). Other nice walks in the area. Rural but within easy reach of the amenities of Falmouth. Super clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again.

  • A quality base for a couple of days , very peaceful, good facilities and value for money

    Ken2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and comfortable space with all the amenities you need. A travel cot was kindly provided for our baby. Sharon and her husband were pleasant and friendly. The space was nicely decorated and close to Falmouth and many other Cornish attractions. Would stay again and would reccomend.

  • Had a lovely (if a touch wet and windy!) weekend stay, the place was perfect and cosy and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend to anyone, such lovely surroundings and great hosts.

    Megan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is lovely, really close to a small cove just outside of Falmouth. The host's where more than accommodating. There were plenty of toys for our daughter to play with which really helped when not on the beach. The cottage has really well sized rooms and perfect for a small family. it has great transport links and close to coastal walks too. N&K

    Neil2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon’s place was perfect for our short work trip - being just down the road from where we needed to be. It was warm, welcoming and had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. Sharon and hosts were not intrusive at all and left us to it which was great. We’d certainly try and book again if we are coming to the area again.

This stunning, three double-bedroom Finnish Lodge, nestles into the side of Carn Marth Hill, a World Heritage Site. From the huge triple glazed Cathedral windows there are far reaching views across the rural landscape of mid-Cornwall. Enjoy relaxing by the pool during the day and soaking in the hot tub by night!
The living room is flooded with light from the double height windows as is the mezzanine double bedroom. The wood burning stove creates a cosy atmosphere in the evenings or for winter visits. You will enjoy the hot tub looking out over the rural landscape. The property is well equipped for 6 people to enjoy a very comfortable stay.
We live on the side of Carn Marth Hill and you can walk directly from the house to the top of the hill where you will find a lovely little quarry lake where locals fish and occasionally swim. From here you can see both North and South coasts the walk on to explore more of the many footpaths and bridleways.
  • Lovely open space, super clean and very nice touches. Scones were top draw and the hot tub followed by the wood fire was dreamy. Thanks to Caroline and Roz

    George2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Lodge is beaufitul, clean and has great views. The huge window fills the space with natural light and keeps it surprisingly warm! Caroline is very welcoming, we'd have felt very comfortable asking for help at any point if we'd needed it.

    Lauren2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place to get away for a while. Caroline was lovely in assisting us from booking to checking out. I would certainly recommend this place and hopefully one day return for another stay.

    Muhammad2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Caroline’s place felt really special, we arrived a little early due to the rain and Caroline accommodated this with no notice. The alpacas made the place really unique, lovely that they are in the field next door to the property. And the hot tub was a big hit with everyone. And let’s not forget scones fresh from the oven with jam and lashings of clotted cream. Really convenient to get to lots of places as well. We stayed with our friends who have two little girls and an infant and there was plenty of room, two bathrooms definitely helps! I should also mention the property was cosier than I thought it would be even without the fire on. Great for a wet February half term!

    Gillian2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Caroline’s house was lovely and we felt very welcome. From the cream tea with homemade scones on arrival to the luxurious hot tub to the cute and funny alpacas in the back garden, we had a wonderful time. Thank you!

    Elspeth2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely lodge. Super hot tub. Lovely cream tea and the most comfy beds. A super place to stay.

    Deborah2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful lodge set in a picturesque location. Caroline is a wonderful host, answering questions extremely promptly pre-arrival , then offering her assistance on arrival with her knowledge of the local area. The lodge is extremely well appointed & the hot tub is toasty toasty! Highly recommended!

    Emma2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Nicely located, tucked out of the way about so nice and peaceful but close enough to East South and West coasts. Didn't explore too much as weather was being very British but what we did see were some nice walks and welcoming pubs. Cosy to stay in thanks to the log burner too. A really nice way to escape for a days.

A stylishly furnished king-sized annex overlooking the garden with its own private entrance. The room is at the back of our Victorian townhouse and has its own ensuite shower room and a private parking space. It is located in central Falmouth close to the town centre, beaches, rail stations and some of the university campus buildings. It is ideal for couples, parents visiting their kids at university and business travellers. Please note there's no breakfast, only tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
The room and its ensuite are in an annex with its own private entrance through the garden. Guests are welcome to use the garden. Please note that there are no cooking facilities, but there is a small silent fridge. It is a quiet and comfortable space for a good nights sleep with its king-sized bed and blackout curtains. There is a private ensuite with walk in shower. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap and towels are provided. There is a 'storage corridor' with plenty of room to put suitcases etc and guests can hang clothes on hooks and hangers. There is a completely silent fridge, a DAB radio/bluetooth speaker next to the bed, and a desk to work at, or to sit and drink a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Please note that no breakfast is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own things to eat, or there are plenty of lovely cafes for breakfast in Falmouth close by.
The house is near the town centre, so there are a lot of great restaurants and some nice independent shops within easy walking distance, and a Tesco supermarket less than 5 mins walk into town. There are fab independent cafes called Espressini and Good Vibes Cafe close by which do great breakfasts and coffee, or there is a Wetherspoon pub/restaurant 2 mins walk into town which does a good full English breakfast for very little money. Or I can recommend Gylly Beach Cafe for breakfast - it is only 20 mins walk and literally on the beach!
  • Had a great stay

    Jane2020-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you to Stephanie and Dominic for allowing me to stay at their home. The room was lovely, very clean, warm and welcoming. It is close to the town centre and there is a fabulous park opposite the house. The parking space is a bonus. Excellent communication. Thank you again.

Lovely, snug flat perfect for two guests looking to hide away somewhere in the middle of Falmouth, with gated parking and outside seating area overlooking the harbour.
Falmouth is well known for its waterside activities, and lively town vibe; and this flat gives great access to both. It's bang smack in the middle of the town, right on the water, and has the rarest of advantages in town - its own parking spot, which is inside a secure gated area. Newly refurbished, it's clean, warm and comfortable, but also (hopefully) tastefully kitted out with some home comforts. For sunny days, you won't be found wanting for access to any number of activities, safe in the knowledge that your car doesn't need to move after x number of hours. Regular activities on the main town squares are within easy walking distance, boat trips from the pier are on your doorstep, and the ferry to St Mawes less than 100 metres away. For rainy days, there's the telly with access to Sky...plus a variety of board games...and a PS3 with some old school classics...not to mention the bookshelf...or DVDs. Lastly, I do love a good coffee, so there's a nice Nespresso machine here to be used.
Falmouth is a year-round vibrant town, unique to Cornwall in that there is the omnipresent university crowd who give the area its energy. Three great beaches, countless good eateries, river cruises, fishing trips, walking routes of any length, pubs-a-plenty, and near to any number of days out...this town really is a great centre to a south Cornwall break.
  • Perfect location, right on the pier and you can see the sea from the living room which we didnt expect. The beaches are within walking distance and the flat is only 2 minutes walk from supermarkets, pubs, shops and restaurants. The kitchen it well equipped, the flat is also very clean and full of entertainment i. e. Ps3, huge tv and plenty of board games. Enjoyed our stay here and would definitley come again :)

    Eve2020-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent flat in a superb central location with views over the sea. Appreciated the kitchen equipment and nespresso for a week’s stay. Felt like home.

    James2020-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Steve's apartment is tidy, modern and spacious with lovely views of the town and of the quay. It is in a perfect location and you can walk to all the main town of Falmouth, and all the lovely quiet beaches are only a short drive away.

    James2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a smart, secure and really well located apartment. Perfect for picking off a couple of South West Coast Path walks. It is easy walking distance to eateries and pubs. Check in was made simple by Steve and communication was prompt and friendly. We met Linda who made sure was had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble. All mod cons in the kitchen if you really really want to cook. Comfortable and cosy warm, recommended.

    Cliff2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely modern apartment, located by ferry pier with views over estuary. Convenient for town/shops, National Maritime Museum, Pendennis castle, St Mawes castle (by ferry). Secure parking a bonus.

    Peter2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Don’t be put off by having to access this place via a very basic staircase; the flat itself is a delight. It is clean, modern, spacious, and contains everything you need for an enjoyable stay. There is an excellent view over the pier, and the central location means that all amenities of the town are on the doorstep. Whilst the location also means that it can get quite noisy, particularly at closing time - keep the front window fully closed, and the noise isn’t a problem. Steve gives clear and comprehensive instructions for access to the car park and the flat, and has provided many thoughtful touches to help to make an enjoyable stay. We hope to return soon.

    John2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • A great location in the heart of Falmouth. We could see the sea from the sofa - we hadn't expected that. The host did everything he could to make us comfortable. We really enjoyed our short stay.

    Maura2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous flat in a great location. Steve is very communicative and there are some really thoughtful touches in the apartment. I would definitely look to use it again for future visits to my daughter whilst she’s at uni there.

There are plenty of places to eat & drink in Falmouth and recently Rick Stein has opened his Fish & Chip Restaurant & Oyster Bar at Discovery Quay adding to the superb mix across the town.A short drive away is the Helford River. This delightful part of Cornwall includes places such as Mawnan Smith, Helford Passage, Constantine & Gweek. The area has many delights such as Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens, The Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, Goonhilly Earth and Satellite Station and The Ferry Boat Inn. Daphne du Maurier wrote her only romantic novel Frenchmans Creek about the River Helford, and who can blame her, the views really are beautiful. Glendurgan Gardens, run by the National Trust, hold a 176 year old laurel maze and the 'Giants Stride' swing is very popular with children. St Anthony-in-Meneage holds a lovely little church primarily of medieval architecture. Maenporth beach, tucked away on the westerly edge of Falmouth Bay and boasting spectacular views, is well worth a visit.
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. It was a decorated with a lovely cake left for us as well as coffee and tea and other necessities for cooking. The location was within walking distance to the shops and many restaurants and to get further we were able to take buses and taxis to everywhere we needed to go. This property is definitely top-notch and I would stay here again.

  • River View was absolutely delightful. We were provided with a cake on arrival! A CAKE!!!! The location is wonderful, just a short walk into town and the view from the upper bedrooms is just breathtaking. There are a lot of stairs to climb so pack light, but it is totally worth it. Perfect house in a perfect spot, we could recommend highly enough, thank you!

  • An amazing place to stay! Such a great location for exploring Falmouth and the surrounding area. Within easy walking distance of town, giving access to loads of good restaurants and bars to keep you busy in the evenings. We felt at home instantly and although we stayed for a week, we could never quite believe the beautiful views, particularly from the master bedroom. Highly recommend.

Situated in the centre of Falmouth and set amongst a wild botanical garden, this relaxed and comfortable flat is attached to one of the most historic houses in the area and is the perfect little haven for a Cornish break.
The flat includes a comfortable bedroom with a double bed, private en-suite modern bathroom, a bright open plan living space with a day bed that could sleep one extra person if necessary. There is a basic private kitchen area with everything you could need. Including a toaster, kettle, fridge, a hob, combi-oven microwave and washing machine. You are welcome to relax in the garden during the daytime we also have table and chairs for breakfast. Please note there is no TV. There is a radio for morning news, as well as a selection of books. There is not private parking, but also there is free parking on the street outside. You sometimes need to search for a parking place at peak times, due to Falmouth being busy during holiday season. My grandmother lives next door in the main house. I work remotely but will be available via phone to help with any tourist information or tips on the local area.
    A friendly and peaceful community.

At the bottom of our garden sits a large wood cabin. It's a warm, spacious area with a toilet & shower (no sink), a king size bed and a sofa bed. Extras include: Freeview TV, Xbox One, Netflix, WiFi, Bluetooth speaker, a small fridge, microwave and a tea/coffee station. There is private parking and private access through a side gate. You can come and go anytime day or night and have total privacy throughout your stay. We are a 30 minute walk from Falmouth town and the beaches. Dogs are welcome.
Along the side of the house is a footpath that takes you directly down to Tregoniggie Woods which is beautiful with huge trees and a lovely stream. It's also a great shortcut into Falmouth. There is a great gym less than 5 minutes from the house called the gym project. Super friendly staff with a bright and open feel. You can pay and go so no sign up required. The beach is a 20ish minute walk or 5 minutes in the car. There is parking at Swanpool, a cafe, kayake hire, bouncy castle, huge ice creams for everyone, a small lake opposite and crazy golf. You can also take a walk along the coastal path which is stunning.

Possessing probably the most astonishing view of any holiday home in Cornwall, this former meteorological observatory is a unique place to stay. Offering 360 degree views of Falmouth, the whole of the Fal estuary and across Falmouth Bay, you will be mesmerised both day and night. Presented to the highest standards, providing luxury accommodation, this is a very special place to stay.
Set on a hill, overlooking town, sea and river, The Observatory Tower occupies the highest point in Falmouth. It was built in 1868, as a meteorological observatory, where people could watch and identify incoming weather. Originally it had a parapet wall on top. Unfortunately The Tower went into disrepair over the years and was eventually sold at auction in 2009, when the new owners set about its complete renovation, restoring wherever possible. They were keen to keep the restoration as sympathetic to its heritage, while also updating it for the 21st century, to make it a luxurious and comfortable modern holiday home with every amenity you could possibly wish for. Located close to the heart of Falmouth, it is just a short 6 minute walk down the hill to the famous National Maritime Museum Cornwall as well as all the attractions, restaurants and pubs along Falmouth's historic waterfront. Highlights include Rick Stein's Fish & Chip shop and Oyster Bar. You could also enjoy a leisurely pint of local brew outside the Chain Locker pub overlooking the Custom's House Quay! If you fancy spending some time on the beach, the sand at Gyllyngvase is about a 12 minute walk away. Accommodation Ground Floor: A private bedroom, with 4'6" bed and TV, complete with ensuite wet-room & WC, is situated on the ground floor. There is a separate utility room which leads to a small external courtyard at the rear of the property. First floor: On the first floor is a flexible space used as a living room, but easily converted to a second bedroom when the wall bed (4'6") is pulled down. This allows up to 4 people to be comfortably accommodated. There is a separate bathroom with overhead shower & WC. Second floor: The kitchen on the second floor is both functional and interesting at the same time. The history of The Observatory Tower is depicted through photographs, plans and original weather reports, set behind a glass splashback. A bright and airy space, with rooftop views over Falmouth to north, south, east and west. Third floor: The main living room on the 3rd floor, with its large picture window overlooking Falmouth Bay, is a precursor to the top floor. Its funky sofa was specially designed to fit the space, with fabrics chosen to reflect the changes in the weather. Fourth floor: After scaling the 66 steps to the top, the observation deck on the 4th floor is what this building is all about. The 360 degree views are breathtaking and if you don't know what you are looking out at, the pelmet art above the windows will help you identify local landmarks. On this floor there is a wine fridge, a sink and facilities for making hot drinks which you can enjoy whilst taking in the wonderful views. Facilities & Services Heating is via under floor heating throughout the property. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a range of modern equipment. There is an electric oven & hob, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave & dishwasher. There is boiling water on tap in both the kitchen and observation deck. The separate utility room has a washer dryer. In the living room there is a large flatscreen digital TV & DVD player. There is also a TV in the master bedroom. There is WiFi available at the property. There is an iron & ironing board. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen & towels are all included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. On street parking is available nearby. Regrettably no dogs are permitted. Strictly no smoking is allowed. Please note that due to the nature of the building, the property is not suitable for children under the age of 12. Please also note that there are many stairs in the property and some are a little narrow in places. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally on a Friday. Short breaks are available during quieter periods. £200 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
Falmouth, the sailing capital of Cornwall, is renowned for being the third deepest natural port in the world, a haven for both cruisers and racers offering the sailor the last major port before the 12 hour crossing to the Isles of Scilly. Visitors to the Port will find the town teeming with coastal treasures, ranging from fish restaurants and boat trips to The National Maritime Museum, Cornwall next to Port Pendennis. Pendennis Castle built in the 16th Century sits high above the harbour with truly magical panoramic views across the bay. You can ride one of the Fal River Link Ferries to the beautiful St Mawes and visit Henry VIII’s sister castle or take a delightful trip around the estuary stopping off at either Trelissick Gardens or Smugglers Cottage for a cream tea. Falmouth Regatta Week, in August is the town's major event both on and off the water, fireworks and the recent addition of the Red Arrows provides a spectacular back drop for some high class racing. Later in the year the Oyster Festival shows off the rivers heritage to the full. Pendennis Shipyard host luxury yachts for re-fit and and in June 2012 Falmouth will host the J Class Regatta, the most spectacular event since the Tall Ships Race last visited in 2008. There are plenty of places to eat & drink in Falmouth and recently Rick Stein brought his Fish & Chip Restaurant & Oyster Bar to Discovery Quay adding to the superb mix across the town.
  • Stunning views from the tower. Clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this unique stay.

    Amanda2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great, unique place to stay. Amazing views from the top floor, as other reviewers have said. Eating breakfast up there every morning is a great way to start the day! No parking space allocated, but very close street parking is available - we had no issues finding a space throughout the whole 5 days. 2 large bathrooms (one containing a frankly enormous bathtub), under floor heating throughout, instant boiling water tap and dishwasher in the kitchen, smart tv with Netflix in the living room. Great Air BnB.

Falmouth is one of Cornwall's loveliest and most sort out destinations with a varied range of high quality eating establishments based around the beautiful old harbour. The Belmont Road apartment is a self contained apartment in the heart of the town, just 10 minutes walk from three major beaches and all of the shops. The apartment retains many of its original Victorian features, is five minutes from the train station to Truro, enjoys on street parking and a handy Spar shop nearby.
The apartment is a cosy bolt hole on a very friendly street. Close enough to the town centre to just pick up your keys and go and very close to the local train station at Penmere (7 mins walk) and local buses if you fancy a night in Truro.
Belmont Road was built in 1895 as part of the Earl of Kimberley's Estate. It is about 10 minutes walk to the beaches, town centre and harbour and 5 minutes from Woodlane campus. There is a late opening Spar convenience shop literally at the end of the road (open until 11pm - 7 days per week).
  • Very quick and friendly communication from Melissa and Jeff. The apartment is clean, stylish and in a great location - check in was easy too!

    Isabelle2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice place and well kept, good size table to eat at. Found the bed very comfortable. Addition of a dishwasher was very welcome. Outside had good free car parking availability and is wider than a lot of Falmouth residential areas. Very easy to walk into Falmouth from. Easy quick communication with Melissa and Jeff when needed.

  • Our second stay here. A great place to stay in a good location for the town and beach.

    Shirley2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We stopped off in Falmouth to attend an event at the Princess Pavillion. Mellissa's flat was perfect - well-located, homely, clean, easy to get to, close to the town centre, plus lots of information about local facilities. The information about checking in was very thorough and we found (free) parking right outside the house on the road. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and hope to visit again.

  • Melissa and Jeffs property is exactly as described....but better!! Contact and check in were easy and quick beforehand, and directions and on street parking were easy. We were a party of four staying one night so the sofa bed came into play, the flat was spacious and spotless and the sofa bed was very comfortable. What made the difference for us was the cleanliness and specifications of the place. Kitchen is equipped beautifully and was the real focal point of the flat. Lovely homely touches in each room, heating was simple and instant , bathroom facilities first class. We will certainly come back again and next time spend a little longer we hope!

Bright, spacious annexe with private entrance & patio. Quiet area, ideal for working. Located on the historic peninsular of Pendennis. Seafront 5 mins walk, woods & coast path 5 mins. Downtown Falmouth 10 mins walk to shops, restaurants. Seafront promenade goes to Gyllngvase beach, and on to Swanpool Cove. Train station connecting to London 5 mins walk. Fab for walking, swimming, SUP & kayaking. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
Bright, contemporary space with skylights. Large spacious bed/sitting room with TV and WiFi. Glass doors leading to sun room with sofa bed which can accommodate 2 people. Sun room has table and chairs in bright space with tea, coffee, chocolate and kettle and mugs. Ideal for working as this is a quiet space. Small fridge provided with milk and juice. Plates and cutlery in room. Please note there are no kitchen facilities. Patio doors lead onto outdoor patio and seating area for the annexe. Bathroom is new and modern with large shower. Entrance is separate to house with large glassed area outside front door for boots and coats. Ideal for walkers, wetsuits and wet weather kit. Wetsuits can also be dried outside in the garden.
Falmouth is really popular these days, and with good reason. We live close to the town and 5 minutes walk from the beach. King Henry VIII castle and battlements are walking distance. The local cafes and restaurants are excellent, and the Cornish pasties are the best (we can tell you where to go to get the best ones!) SUPs and canoes all available to hire just 10 mins walk away. Our local beaches are very good for swimming and fishing. The Cornish coastal path will take you for miles on beautiful coastline, just a stone's throw away.
  • A great space in a perfect location for exploring Falmouth and further afield. Julia and family were incredibly helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying here

    Jason2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is stylish and very considered, we found everything easy and accessible. I value a big clean shower/bathroom and this one was fab! The location was great for ambling around the town and was very easy to reach from Falmouth docks station. Julia and Chris were friendly and inviting but also gave us lots of space and independence. Everything in balance. Highly recommended!

    Richard2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Julia provide the perfect place for a weekend away. Couldn’t recommend enough!

    Charlotte2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, feel and location. Julia is a fab host and made everything super easy from arriving to leaving. It felt like our own little home which is just perfect for a weekend away.

    Tegen2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Julia’s place is very spacious and well laid out. It is so quiet for sleeping but also close (easy walk) to the city center and beautiful beaches. There is plenty of parking on the street which is very handy. The bed is very comfy and Julia is a fabulous host. We would definitely stay again!

    Amanda2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Julia’s place, it was spacious, bright and really comfortable with quality pillows and duvet, some nice touches which I appreciated - organic and herbal tea bags, ecological soap and cleaning products. It was clean and fresh. Julia was lovely, friendly and helpful, letting me store my recumbent trike and showed flexibility in our arrival and departure time which was most welcome. I’d love to return.

    Holly2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location close to the seafront. Beautifully clean and cosy. Great welcoming hosts, will definitely return.

    Susie2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was the second time we have stayed at Julia's place. She is a very good host, it was easy to communicate with her before and during our stay, the apartment was spotlessly clean with everything that we needed and parking was very easy. I would thoroughly recommend Cormorant as a great place to stay in Falmouth.

The annexe is vey spacious room and tastefully furnished, with of the road parking, a private courtyard, and en- suit shower room. We are within easy reach for Falmouth’s shops, restaurants, bars and cafes, which is about 15 - 20 minutes walk. The Beaches are a short walk away, as is the Woodlane University Campus. Ideal for couples, and parents visiting students and business travellers. The only cooking facilities that we have is a microwave, toaster, small fridge, and tea making facilities.
The Annexe is a separate building at the end of a large drive at the side of a bungalow, close to the town and beaches, with its own private court yard, and of the road parking in the drive way.
  • Me and my boyfriend had a lovely 2 night stay here, the room is way bigger than it looks and has an extremely comfy bed. Peter allowed us to check out later as requested, the bedroom and bathroom is very clean and the location is perfect for private space as it is completely separate to the house. Would definitely recommend, very cosy place :)

  • Because the accommodation is in a separate annex it is very private and quiet. The annex contains everything you need for a short stay. Great shower, comfy bed, and plenty of room to move around. Additionally it was very convenient for me being just a few steps from my brother's house - I'll definitely be back.

Cosy cottage nestled right in the heart of Falmouth, with breathtaking views to Flushing, and only a two minute walk to all that Falmouth has to offer. Private garden overlooking the water, with 2 bedrooms, lounge, separate kitchen and bathroom.
Harbour Cottage is a cosy and quirky nineteenth century property, which has breathtaking views over the water, and benefits from an amazing location in the heart of Falmouth - literally a two-minute walk down into the town and all that it has to offer. It is a self-contained, semi-detached, two bedroom cottage, arranged over two floors. It boasts a fully-enclosed child friendly garden to the rear, looking out over the water. The cottage is accessed through a communal entrance hall which is shared with the adjoining cottage. This hallway gives access to Harbour Cottage's separate front door. The door leads into the kitchen/diner, which has a separate lounge leading off to the front, and a bathroom leading off to the rear. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the crockery/glassware/pots and pans etc that you'll need for your stay, and it also includes sink, oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. There are cabinets to store any food items, and a dining table positioned in front of the window so that you can while away the hours watching the boats come and go with a glass of wine in your hand :) There are four dining chairs around the table. The lounge has a comfortable leather two-seater sofa and a small fabric two-seater sofa. Please do note though, that although there is lounge seating, dining room seating, and beds for four, it is all squeezed into a small space. A previous review mentions that it is smaller than the photos make it look, but they are honest photos of a gorgeous, stunningly located but petite cottage. My children love staying there with my husband and I, and we have never found the space to be cramped, but just to reiterate, do be aware that the cottage is, as any good estate agent would describe it, 'bijou'. I would hate for anyone to ever be disappointed! :) The bathroom is to the rear of the property and includes a bath with shower over, a basin and a toilet. 'Small but perfectly formed' would be my best description of this room. Again. It is small, so please don’t be disappointed by its delicate proportions. Maybe think of your break as like a stay on a lovely yacht ;) The back garden is accessed from a small hallway to the rear of the kitchen. The garden is fully enclosed and so is safe for little ones. The back garden includes a sandstone patio and bench by the house, perfect for reading the morning paper with a coffee in the sun (when it shines - if I could guarantee the sun, I think we'd all be very happy...). There is also a garden table and four chairs at the bottom of the lawn, with a barbecue stand available to place a disposable BBQ on. A steep and narrow staircase leads up from the kitchen to two double bedrooms. The first double is at the rear of the cottage and has frankly breathtaking panoramic water views. It includes a double bed, wardrobe, drawers and a dressing table and chair. The second twin bedroom at the front is home to a pair of single beds with fabric headboards. There is also a double wardrobe and bedside drawers. There is no private parking at the property, but free and safe on road parking is usually readily available (it’s a lovely residential neighbourhood). Even in the height of the summer season, guests have rarely experienced any problems finding a space within a hundred yards. There are a couple of spaces directly in front of the cottage where you can park to load/unload shopping, luggage etc, but you can't leave your car here without risking a ticket :( Maybe the best plan is to park up for the duration, then enjoy the area on foot/by ferry/bus/train so you can enjoy a glass or two of something too :)) All in all, it is a fantastic and homely little cottage, and in fact many guests have described it over the years as a 'home away from home'. Come and give it a try, you will always be welcome.
Falmouth is truly fab! It is the sailing capital of Cornwall, and is renowned for being the third deepest natural port in the world. Visitors will find the town teeming with coastal treasures, ranging from fish restaurants, lively bars, quirky cafes, amazing independent shops and galleries, to gorgeous beaches and walks. There are boat trips aplenty, you can visit the highly regarded National Maritime Museum, Cornwall or see Pendennis Castle. The castle, built in the 16th Century, sits high above the harbour with truly magical panoramic views across the bay. You can ride one of the Fal River Link Ferries to the beautiful St Mawes and visit Henry VIII's sister castle or take a delightful trip around the estuary stopping off at either Trelissick Gardens or Smugglers Cottage for a cream tea. There is SO much to see and do that I could go on for hours! If you're after somewhere to eat/drink, here are some places I'd be very happy to recommend. There is a glorious restaurant called the Star and Garter just down the road for a really standout meal (on the more expensive side though). There is a pub next-door-but-one called The Boathouse which does great food and ales and will offer guests 10% off their food bill. There is a great atmosphere here and beautiful views, and it is a favoured spot with both locals and tourists. A short way across town, the Gyllyngvase Beach Cafe is another must-visit destination, with fab food and a superb location right on the beach. Watch out for their live music events and the Sunday 'Roast on the Coast'. For seafood lovers, The Wheelhouse needs to be on your list, but be sure to be quick and book ahead, they book out quickly. Try Beerwolf in town for a pub with a difference - there is a book shop on site where you can sup your pint and read at the same. Heaven. Another great restaurant with magnificent food and views to match, but on the pricier side, is The Cove, just a short drive away in Maenporth. For those with pets, the pub Five Degrees West welcomes your four legged friends and provides good food. Two great cafes centrally located on 'The Moor' are Espressini (the best coffee and breakfast anywhere I swear, try the Kedgeree) and Good Vibes a few doors down. If Rick Steins is your thing, try their fish and oyster restaurant at Events Square. Harbour Lights is another fantastic fish and chip restaurant in town with lovely decor, great touches for little ones like fish and chips in a bucket that kids can keep, and reasonable prices. If you fancy a coffee in a lovely hotel, try the Greenbank down on the water (you can see it from the bedroom window). As a location, it would be very hard to beat, and they are very welcoming to boot. Try if you can to make your stay co-incide with one of Falmouth's fantastic annual events. Falmouth Regatta Week in August is the town's major event both on and off the water. Fireworks and the recent addition of the Red Arrows provide a spectacular back drop for some high class yacht racing. Later in the year the Oyster Festival shows off the rivers heritage to the full. The beer festival and the Sea Shanty festival are two more great local occasions. What more can I say? The place is fab! Book your time off and come to visit our beautiful county as soon as you can :)
  • My boyfriend and I came down for the weekend and we had the best time. Lee-Anne’s cottage couldn’t be nicer, with amazing location, gorgeous sea views all the equipment you need in the kitchen I would definitely recommend this place. We loved our stay and I’m sure you will too.

In a lovely part of town and some of the best pubs and coffee shops in Falmouth are within a 5 min walk. Lots of thoughtful touches in the apartment when we arrived - proper coffee, tea and milk etc. Very much appreciated. Will absolutely be back in the summer to make the most of the garden with views

  • Amanda was a super hostess, I recommend her flat 100%. She was always aware of us and had flexibility at the time of departure. I would repeat again without a doubt.

  • We loved Amanda's place, perfect location, on street parking right outside, everything you need with plenty of room for the 3 of us. She also had local knowledge and great restaurant recommendations etc. Hope to go back again.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cornwall for the new year. The highlight of the trip was exploring the lost gardens of Heligan by night which we were only made aware of by Amanda’s daily activity list. The fairy lights and decorations added to the cosy feel during the winter evenings. We would all recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Cornwall! Amanda’s welcoming apartment and hospitality made this trip memorable x

Large bedroom with huge south facing sea view balconies and snug on the 2nd floor of our environmentally friendly 1910 Edwardian house. Minutes on foot from beaches, train station, town centre, castle, parks & Princess Pavilion. The house has been renovated extensively & sympathetically to its heritage and the environment. There’s a Zappi electric car charger, rain water harvester providing 50% of our water, solar panels providing 60% of our power and a Green power company supplying the rest.
You have extensive views from the balcony but also from a large "picture" window in the room. The view goes across Falmouth Bay with Pendennis Castle and St. Anthony’s lighthouse on the left hand headland panning across to Gyllyngvase beach centre right and beyond with headlands stretching off into the distance. You will have a large bedroom with King Size bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and private door from your room onto your balcony. We have noticed how little we use the large adjoining family balcony while we have guests , wishing to give our guests some solitude and have now included this larger balcony space in the booking. There’s a sun room to sit and read in or use the provided binoculars to spot ships on the horizon. The landing has tea & coffee facilities with a passageway leading to your own private shower room. All guest areas are on the same floor with no steps between them.
    A) Falmouth Universities Woodlane campus is a 5 minute walk. B) The South end of Falmouth town is a 10 minute walk with restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries, shops and a Tesco Metro. The restaurant/bar Gyllyngvase Cafe, Event Square Cafe, Espressini, The Look Out & Red Rooster do good breakfasts each of a different style. C) Falmouth Town train station is less than a 10 minute walk away whose branch line can take you to the Cathedral city of Truro in 20 minutes. D) Princess Pavilions serves lunches but not dinners and has evening entertainment and a bar at the end of the street. It also has beautiful gardens to walk through to the beaches. E) Castle & Gyllyngvase beach with beach bar & restaurant, are a 5 minute walk. F) There is a beautiful headland walk which can be all on pavements, through the castle moat or partly through woodland around the King Henry VIII Castle, which often has events for adults and kids with a restaurant in its grounds. G) The National Maritime museum which is great for kids & adults whatever the weather is also 10 minutes by foot. H) Ships and Castles swimming pool activity centre is a 10 minute trip by car up the headland. I) Gyllyngvase Beach has a water sports activity centre with SUP and Kayaking etc a 3 min walk away. I) There’s lots to do in and around Falmouth, and there’s no way I could write it all here, so just ask us if there’s anything in particular you are looking for :)
  • Great host, spectacular views and a very clean and lovely room - had a very nice stay, would recommend!

    Lorenzo2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • The room was so clean and presented in a very classic way. Sean, the host, greeted us with smiles and was super helpful in suggesting places to visit and restaurants to eat at. As well being very welcoming and making us feel really comfortable! A very lovely weekend away!!

    Sharai2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time using Air bnb and what a way to start, the property is stunning, the locale ideal for exploring Falmouth and the surrounding area and the views over the bay simply stunning, despite our visit coinciding with Storm Dennis, but seeing so many ships sheltering from the storm just added to the scene. The Stratton family made us so welcome from the older to the youngest generations and we would love to return to this delightful hideaway under calmer weather conditions. • I booked Sean’s place for my mum and partner to stay in for her birthday, the space is beautiful with a fantastic view. Perfectly placed for beach walks and exploring Falmouth. Sean and his family were lovely and there was the special touch of croissants on my mum’s birthday. Highly recommended!

  • Really lovely house with amazing sea views! Thank you to Sean and his family for making us feel so welcome. The perfect stay for a relaxing weekend in Falmouth!

  • Amazing Location. Wonderful Room. The hosts where super friendly and had a lot of tips where to grab some food or what activities can be done at bad weather. Had a great stay at this accommodation. If it's possible book your stay at this wonderful place.

    Lukas2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • What you see is what you get in terms of the room and the views which are excellent. What you don’t know is just how great the hosts are, they really made us welcome and had us feeling at home. You have tea & coffee making facilities on the landing outside the room. The private shower and toilet are just on the other side of the landing. You are on the top floor so there are stairs to climb but not too many for this overweight middle aged man to cope with. Easy walk to railway station, town or beach also has off road parking (pull in far enough to shut the gates).

The National Maritime Museum Cornwall and Pendennis Castle are both high on visitors' lists of places to visit and the views from Pendennis on a fine day are truly magical. Falmouth is the sailing capital of Cornwall with its spectacular deep water natural harbour offering a haven for both cruisers and racers. Many events are held through the summer culminating in the famous Falmouth Regatta Week and associated shore side events. You can enjoy these events on foot from this centrally located apartment. As a university town many events are arranged by the students including annual exhibitions of art and photographic work. This is a perfect apartment for parents wishing to visit their children as the bus to the University leaves regularly from the end of the road up to the Tremough campus. The beaches at Gyllingvase & Swanpool are coarse sand and are wonderfully sunny south facing spots. You can ride the ferry to beautiful St Mawes for the day or take a delightful trip around the estuary stopping off at either Trelissick Gardens or Smugglers Cottage for a cream tea! • A perfect place from which to visit 2 outstanding National Trust properties, Tresillick and Glendurgan Gardens. Very close to Falmouth town centre (and you have parking) as well as the sea. Well appointed and spotlessly clean - the bed was really comfortable.

  • Great location , sparkling clean and comfortable facilities, lovely sea views and the option to use Falmouth Hotel facilities for dining or leisure, swimming pool etc.

  • Richards flat was both comfy and clean, it was a great size - perfect for two. The flat is conjoined to The Falmouth Hotel, so felt very safe. It was less than a minutes walk to the sea front and was a fab spot for running. I'd recommend this very affordable little flat if you're coming down to Falmouth!

    Grace2019-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulously located, comfortable apartment within very easy reach of the seafront and the beautiful Garden Room bar and bistro at the Princess Pavilion.

    Mark2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, airy apartment in the grounds of the Falmouth hotel - literally two minutes’ walk to the seafront, and about 10 minutes into Falmouth town, which was perfect for us. The apartment was well-equipped for cooking, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Our only slight issue would be that we sometimes had some noise from the nearby catering part of the hotel in the morning (however, we are quite late risers, so for people waking up at a more normal time, this probably wouldn’t be such an issue!). It was a lovely place to stay, and we would be very happy to come back.

    Hannah2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Pipit is in a great location right across the road from the sea with views from the apartment. Town is only 10-15 minute walk away and as there was onsite parking so we could leave the car and walk into town. The apartment was clean with all the facility’s you need and the washing machine was a real bonus as we had been travelling for 2 months. It was good to have a lift too as the apartment is on the second floor, saving us having to get our bags up the stairs. Would happily stay here again.

Lovely victorian apartment situated on the groundfloor. All rooms are large, light and airy, with views to the sea and castle from the bedroom and living/dining room. Towels are provided and the bedding and towels will be changed weekly. There is a small grassed area at the front of the property where you can sit outside if you wish and take in the view. For those wishing to bring bikes, surfboards etc we can offer somewhere safe to store these upon request. There are some beach towels in the apartment for your convenience. The apartment has central heating. The apartment is a very short walk to the town centre and within walking distance of Pendennis Castle and the beaches; Gyllingvase, Castle and Swanpool, where you can try watersports or grab a bite to eat. Falmouth's town centre has plenty to offer with many restaurants and local pubs. Ferry connections to neighbouring villages, Flushing and St Mawes, are available from the town centre as well as various boat trips. Falmouth has lots going on throughout the year including, Sea Shanty's, Beer festivals, Falmouth week, Oyster festivals and there is a Local Farmers Market every Tuesday and Saturday on The Moor. Please note that this is an old Victorian building very close to the sea and so we do use a dehumidifier at times. Falmouth isn't flat so if you are planning on walking then expect some hills to and from the apartment. We also have a parking space!
The house is convenient for both town and the beaches and it's easily accessed by train or car.
  • The best thing about this apartment is its location. It's very close to the main town centre, without being so close that it's noisy. The views are great too.

  • Fab flat. Ground floor, but completely private. Spick and span and lovely little touches to make our first night easier. Just a note that the parking space is a squeeze. Will defo book to stay again as even though it’s central to the town it’s up on the hill away from the evening noise at weekends.

Two person apartment with stunning river and harbour views and private parking.
Lapwing is part of Falmouth's Packet Quays development and built into a hillside - the apartment enjoys stunning views over the rooftops of the apartments below to the busy harbour and Roseland peninsula. It is perfectly situated at the top of High Street - just a 5 minute walk downhill to the bustling sailing town of Falmouth. Lapwing is comfortably furnished and decorated with style with private parking in a communal secure garage opposite. There is a small but well-equipped galley kitchen at the rear of the apartment with a large open hatchway looking through the living-room and to the view beyond. A patio door leads out onto a spacious balcony with table and chairs. The double bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine level so with full-height window at the front of the apartment the views can be enjoyed from the comfort of the bed. The en-suite shower-room is also on the mezzanine level so easily accessed from the bedroom-area. The private secure parking is an allocated space in the garage opposite the entrance to the flat. It is on the entrance level second one in from the end on the left - Bay 6. It can be accessed with the entrance card that will be found easily inside the flat. There is a height restriction of 77" (1.96m). It is suitable for most cars but a very large 4x4 would be a bit tight. Recommend reversing into the space. We have recently installed a new electric heating system for more comfortable winter lettings.
High Street is a lovely quirky street full of interesting shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. From the apartment it is just a walk down High Street and you are in the centre of Falmouth, with easy access to Prince of Wales Pier for boat trips and a visitor information centre. There are many good restaurants in Falmouth all within walking distance.

  • We would highly recommend lapwing to anyone looking for a break in Falmouth. The facilities are excellent, clean, fantastic views of the harbour, WiFi, and about 200 yards from the town centre. Secure parking facility directly opposite. We'll be visiting every year, no need to consider anywhere else!

  • We had a great stay in Falmouth in this cosy place!

    Robert2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment I stepped over the threshold of Janet’s beautiful, bijou apartment with breath-taking views it enveloped me in its warmth and cosiness. With views of the sea that offered a myriad of colour changes with the wavering weather this apartment is ideally situated near to the centre of Falmouth. Exploring the quirky shops a stone’s throw away was a delight as well as being able to drive to the gorgeous beaches and enjoy a coffee at the beach cafes. Having a space in the car parking lot was amazing as parking in Falmouth can be tricky. Little touches like fresh flowers and breakfast essentials were very appreciated. I would recommend this lovely apartment to anyone that would love a beautifully clean, tastefully decorated, ideally situated place to stay in Falmouth.

    Stephanie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z

  • We stayed 3 nights at Janet’s apartment and everything was great. The apartment is as beautiful as in the pictures, clean, very well-equipped and strategically situated. And of course the view is simply wonderful! It’s a chance to wake up and watch the sunrise on the bay. Self check-in check-out is very practical, Janet was very responsive and gave us useful instructions and left plenty of tips in the apartment. Highly recommended!

In my opinion this is the best location in Falmouth. It is in an elevated position right in the heart of Falmouth town and enjoys some of the finest panoramic open views of the harbour, estuary and bay. There is an excellent range of cosmopolitan restaurants, quayside bars, pubs. galleries and shops, Other leisure amenities include the National Maritime museum, several parks, gardens and safe bathing beaches. There are fantastic walks including the South West Coast Path, which runs right through Falmouth, around Pendennis Point to the neighbouring beaches of Swanpool, Maenporth and beyond. There are many regular ferry crossings available to take you to gardens like Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick and idyllic waterside villages such as Flushing, St Mawes, and Helford. The sheltered waters are ideal for the water sports enthusiast. Sailing, rowing and diving clubs catering to all abilities are available. Fishing can be done from the beach, pier, off the rocks or you can book a place on a fishing boat. When you are finished exploring you can simply chill out on the balconies looking out at the ever changing vista below.
  • My time at Helen's place was due to business that we were conducting locally in Falmouth and due to the lock down we had no accommodation other than Helena's place. She has been a wonderful host and her place is just lovely. If only we were here for an actual holiday we would have been able to explore the wonders of Falmouth as well. Helena's place has beautiful views and was spacious, clean and tidy. Would stay here again if i ever make it back when everything opens. We are so thankful to Helena for her gracious accommodation during our time of need.

  • Excellent place to stay, super value, clean, friendly, fab location, wonderful home from home :-)

  • Fantastic place in the heart of Falmouth (which is a much smarter calmer less touristy choice than the obvious Cornwall destinations)

  • Jacob’s View is a stunning Tardis of a home. It looks to be a tiny cottage from the outside, but has loads of space inside, and opens out to panoramic views of the town and harbour. The house is beautifully decorated and the living area comfortable and open plan, the kitchen has everything that you could possibly need. The beds are comfy and there are plenty of bathrooms and hot water. It is so close to the centre of town with its wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, but feels away from hustle and bustle due to its elevation above the built up area. All the instructions we received were comprehensive and easy to follow. It is close to local pubs (we liked the Seaview Inn) but quiet and cozy. We would love to return to this beautiful home

Welcome to the 'Sail Loft' - a boutique one bedroom apartment with gorgeous private courtyard just 1 minute walk from the lovely 'Working Boat' bistro pub overlooking the harbour and a 5 minute walk from Falmouth's bustling town centre. The apartment is an ideal space in which to relax, unwind and enjoy Falmouth or as a base for exploring the gorgeous Cornish coast and countryside.
The apartment consists of a living/dining room with a gorgeous new sofa and classic leather chair from which to enjoy the TV as well as a lovely vintage table to dine at or work from. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine whilst the bedroom has a comfy double bed and wardrobe. The bathroom comes equipped with bath and shower over. We’ll leave you a little welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk etc. so you can make the most of your first day. The whole space has been newly furnished and is now a perfectly luxurious space for couples. Outside is a private courtyard with bistro table and chairs available. These are stored away during these winter months but are available from the storage box if the weather brightens up for you. Furthermore there is the communal garden at the front of the property that has a lovely picnic bench and direct views over water.
The Sail Loft is located in the Harbourside of Falmouth. Head to one (or all) of Falmouth’s three fabulous beaches – it’s a 20-25 minute walk to blue flag winner Gyllyngvase, Swanpool or Castle Beach. Walk to the Old High Street for fantastic artisan bakeries and indie design and vintage shops. The apartment is also just a few minutes’ walk from Event Square for boat-watching, year-round festivals, the National Maritime Museum and Rick Stein's Seafood restaurant and takeaway. At night, there's Beerwolf for great beers, wines & table tennis, or try Dolly's Tea Room and Wine Bar for gin and teapot cocktails. Falmouth also has two cinemas – five screens at the Phoenix and arts house movies at The Poly in Church Street. Options for eating out locally include Provodore for tapas (their breakfasts & coffee are great too). The Wheelhouse, The Star and Garter and Oliver’s for seafood & fine dining. If you’d rather order in, Brothers will deliver great sourdough pizzas to you by bike
