Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

We found the loft cozy and the view of the garden was beautiful. Brigitte always responded quickly. Perhaps in the future we will come back so that my husband can run in the dunes 😉

Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

The accommodation was as described and Karine allowed us to change the arrival time The apartment on the 1st is nice and a breakfast was ready in the fridge. A supermarket and transport are nearby Only downside: the sofa bed was broken, fortunately it was children who slept in it.

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

We had a lovely few days at Yvonne’s place, enjoying the beautiful and peaceful countryside from their really excellent apartment. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and fully equipped - perfect for our needs and with the benefit of a lovely outdoor space to enjoy hot days and warm evenings. We would certainly return. Yvonne and Rob were outstanding hosts - friendly, helpful and generous - and we are happy to recommend both them and their apartment.

We had a wonderful stay at Bert and Marieke's spacious apartment. We were welcomed by Bert who helped us with our luggage up the stairs and showed us into their well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. It had everything we could need. The apartment was beautiful. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Bert and Marieke.

This is a lovely home in a quiet and stunning setting on the water. Great for families with kids. This is a great location to explore the lake from and has lots of amenities available for the guests to keep kids busy. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend a stay here.

Nice place, on a quiet and dead-end street. Nice host. The cottage is small, but very clean, quiet and pleasant.

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room provide a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you'd rather not go on an excursion, but just stay in the apartment.

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

After a long day in Amsterdam, we enjoyed the peace and quiet in Broek in Waterland at Haico's. The house is cozy and offers everything we needed: a comfortable bed, a clean shower and a well-equipped kitchen where we could prepare our breakfast and make small meals such as pasta or sandwiches in the evening. The location is ideal for getting to Amsterdam quickly, and the bus connection is very good.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. However, our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived in a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We had a great stay! Hugo was easy to contact, gave us many local recommendations, and easy to follow directions. The place was clean, had a great view, and is on a quiet street. Location was great, very walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. We were worried about not having a tv but didn’t miss it. Just a heads up to people in the U.S.-bring wash cloths to Europe. All 3 of the Airbnb’s that we stayed at did not provide them. I read that they consider it a personal item, like a toothbrush, and expect you to bring your own. Thank you Hugo!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We really like the accommodation for its location in relation to the country's landmarks. The hosts always very friendly and super quick to respond to messages. Although the room is inside their house we never lacked privacy and we had everything we needed inside the room :)

We were greeted by Remy in person and he showed us the apartment and explained the operation of the hot tub. He also gave us recommendations for the area. We were always able to reach him by message and he was very helpful. The apartment and the hot tub are very private, so you feel comfortable. In addition, the accommodation was super clean and fresh flowers set pleasant accents.
