In this comfortably renovated former garage next to our house, you can comfortably come home after a long walk or a day of shopping in Haarlem. Amsterdam is also close by. Enjoy a weekend getaway close to the beach and dunes. By bike you can reach the beach in less than half an hour and in National Park Kennemerduinen you can spend hours hiking and cycling. Swimming in the sea or in the dune lake is also wonderful! At the studio you can rent a men's bike and a women's bike for €10,- per bike per day.

Large, light and spacious grfloor apartment with pantry and small bathroom in our classic mansion built 1897 in beautiful Haarlem. Very centrally located. Near the old center and train station! Close to the National Park, beaches and Amsterdam. Living room with a small double and 2 sleeping couches and big cross, sliding doors to the master bedroom with a kingsize bed and entrance to the bathroom. Het is vredig, stil, idyllisch en comfortabel, dus lekker met je wandelschoenen en een warm vest genieten van de houtkachel binnen en open vuur buiten. It's just 5 mins walk to the train station from where direct trains to Amsterdam (25 mins). The beach is only 5 min by car or train and 15 min by bike. (climbing stairs is unavoidable). You may need to share the bathroom and toilet with my daughter who sometimes stays in the spare room on the same floor. Free parking in the street.

Family Home near the beach

We enjoyed our stay in Pauline’s house in Overveen very much. We had our 4 teenage grandchildren with us and we fit comfortably in this family house. There is a grocery at the nearby train station in the town center and a great ice cream place and pizza place that the kids (and adults) really enjoyed. We took the bus to the beach and hiked in the National Park, as well as took the train to Amsterdam (several times), Den Haag, Leiden, Enkhuizen, and Rotterdam. All in all a very good time. Pauline was a very responsive host.

We were very pleased with Marije's house. It is not cheap, but has a lot to offer: in addition to the great location - sea, nature, Haarlem, Amsterdam - it is extremely spacious and very tastefully decorated. It is equipped with everything you usually need, from towels to spices to bicycles and soccer balls. Marije responds super quickly and helps with questions. Happily again!

Beautifully furnished cottage in the garden of the owners, so you can enjoy nature. Beautifully located, wooded area and 20 minutes by bike from the beach of Zandvoort and the centre of Haarlem. We mainly went there to cycle and eat (beach bars) and you can do that to your heart's content. National Park Zuid-Kennemerland nearby with free-roaming horses, a beautiful bird lake (nesting place for cormorants) and bison that you can follow online where they are (path was closed during our stay). We also visited the Schoorlse dunes by car. In short: we had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay at Marielle's! You can feel it's a loved home. I liked having a kitchen with nice pots and pans to use and bits of oil and spices to add to our meals too. Our son enjoyed the kids' toys very much, and they kept him well entertained. And after 2 weeks of traveling, having laundry on site was very nice. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and an easy walk to the bus or train. We would stay here again!
