Gianluca was a very caring host. Accessibility and communication easy, straightforward and fast - in very good English. The place is great for anyone looking for peace and privacy. The house has everything it needs for a nice vacation including a large pool, sauna and hot tub. Gianluca recommended very good restaurants and excursion destinations. Above all, many insider tips, i.e. no tourist hotspots but local ones where locals eat. We will be happy to come back 😊 Thanks, Gianluca 👍

My husband, dogs, and I had an amazing stay at the cottage. It was peaceful and private- we enjoyed cooking dinner and eating on the patio every night. The cottage had everything we needed and my dogs loved that they could explore inside the fully fenced yard. The location is great if you like to explore all the little towns, but have peace and quiet at the end of the day. This has been our favorite place to stay in Tuscany and we hope we can come back soon!

The house and the entire complex were beautiful. The furnishings were of very high quality, the beds were excellent. Since we unfortunately had a lot of bad luck with the weather, we/our children were very happy about the hot tub. Especially suitable for guests with dogs. The contact with Daniela was great and her father was also very helpful and very likeable. Thanks for everything

The "il Cottage" accommodation is a lovely two bedroom apartment that is right next to the fortress (which makes it even more evocative). Francesca and Aliek welcomed us with kindness and professionalism, making us feel like we are in our home. Their whole family was very nice and helpful, including dogs, cats, and donkeys who were an unexpected and very enjoyable company for us. The fortress is located in a very quiet area but at the same time close to the main tourist attractions of Umbria easily reachable by car, at most in a couple of hours. Absolutely recommended for both couples and families, or simply for people who love tranquility and beauty .

We only stayed one night with our friends. Unique hospitality and availability. Everything was very clean. We turned on the fireplace and felt at home. Highly recommended

My husband and I stayed two nights in the Chestnut Dryer of the Podere di Maggio. What can I say? A real paradise: nestled in a wonderful valley with Mount Amiata in front of it and the beautiful medieval village of Santa Fiora. We could not ask for more: wonderful structure, well cared for, in detail, priceless peace. The hosts were great, hospitable, and really made us feel at home. In short, everything is perfect, nothing is missing, of course you have to love bucolic life like us ! The only downside? Two nights were too short and we'll definitely be back . We recently spent two weeks in this delightful house. The location is perfect for exploring the area around the lake and further afield due to good road links. It has all the feel of an isolated house while being close to shops and restaurants. The house was very clean when we arrived and although basic has all the things you really need. Andrea the host was absolutely delightful and welcoming. He was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The description is exactly at the house. Lots of privacy. Fantastic view. Very clean and very friendly host. Warmly welcomed upon arrival and a clear explanation. There are two real booklets made with tips to do in the area. Furthermore, the private chef is highly recommended. Super good food and learned a lot about Italian cuisine. Patience with cooking is the magic word. Simple, but oh so tasty. Luca is a really friendly chef. The house is cozily furnished with all amenities. We were able to enjoy the garden and pool (partly because of the very nice weather). Despite the time of the year and water temperature 18 degrees, we regularly sat around the pool and were able to have a drink and swim. We can't wait to go again. We had the privilege of staying a month in this beautiful stone house nestled in a forest with outstanding views of the Umbria hills and the medieval village of Rotecastello. Tranquility itself taking long walks in the woods with the birds chirping throughout the day. The house is centrally located to quaint local villages such as Orvieto, Assisi, Spoleto as well as many others. Florence is only a 2 hour drive. The town of Marciano is a few kilometres away with all the amenities needed to make delicious meals at home and if you like fish, on Tuesdays and Thursdays the truck in the centre of town is excellent as is the homestead pasta shop. Gabriele and Valeria, a sophisticated couple who show their dedication to their guest from the interior cleanliness and decor to the gorgeous flowers surrounding the house. Very welcoming couple always with a smile, yet still honouring your privacy. Arturo, their dog is an absolute joy. This is a 100% recommendation all around!

The stay with Fausto and his wife (Anna's parents) was really great: a clean cottage in a great beautiful area. The kindness and helpfulness of the hosts was heartwarming. For example, we got a bunch of herbs from their own garden, they came to bring medicine when one of us was sick and they were always ready to answer our questions. After another place we booked canceled a few days before departure, Anna's place was still available and she was quick to respond. We couldn't have found a better place to stay than this one and will definitely go back.

We stayed at Enea's Cottage, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Santa Valley, and we couldn't ask for better. Me, my partner and our one-and-a-half-year-old girl spent peaceful and relaxing days surrounded by nature and a total atmosphere of peace. The cottage is cozy, cared for and perfect for those looking for tranquility away from the chaos. Enea is an exceptional host: always available, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. We felt welcomed as a family. A place we really recommend to those who want to unplug and enjoy the authentic beauty of this valley.

We had an amazing time at the property. The little house is exactly what we were looking for. Bright, comfortable, clean, well equipped, amazing hosts. Close to everything, yet in a very private, calm area. Would recommend without a doubt.

We have greatly enjoyed this beautiful cottage. It is in the middle of nature, private in peace. The cottage is clean and equipped with every comfort. The owners are extremely friendly and at the same time leave you in peace and quiet. The pool is an absolute asset and also must in the beautiful, very warm Umbria. There are interesting tips in their booklet to eat. We really liked the small mountain village of Montone. Ideal for a family with 2 children (high chair and cot available). Beautiful accommodation, on a hill with views - but 15 minutes by dog from the town of Montisi. the place was beaten by our ocekavani - super clean, well-equipped and cold pools was a big plus! i recommend all!!
