Welcome to our charming apartment in Fattoria Fontenovo in Umbria fresh hills !This cozy retreat at our historic Fontenovo Farm, owned by our family for over 100 years, offers the perfect blend of privacy and tranquility. Some areas of the spacious villa remain unoccupied and others are reserved for your use. During the stay, you'll be the sole occupants, apart from the owners who may occasionally be in another part of the house. Enjoy the lush gardens, private pool, and serene countryside.

Between Umbria and Tuscany, near the lakes Trasimeno and Chiusi, lies this beautiful farmhouse. The complex consists of three cottages dating back to the end of last century, carefully restored and cared for in the external and internal finishes. Today 5 apartments are available for rent to guests. “Il Cipresso” is an apartment on the ground floor with air conditioning. It has a living room with a bed couch, kitchen, a double room, bathroom with shower, veranda with access to the garden.

The house is located far from noise and pollution right between Gubbio, Perugia and Assisi, just 9 km from the E45, a toll-free highway that runs north-south connecting most of Umbria's key destinations and providing a convenient link for exploring the region.

Ethical house in Umbria

It is a 60 sqm annex suitable for couples who want to visit our region. We don't have a swimming pool but we have the truffle ground, the stream, the roe deer, porcupines, wild boars, our cats and the little dog Moti. In the garden, you will find herbs, fruit, and garden produce. Inside the cottage we rent, you will have our olive oil and helichrysum liqueur that we produce. We also produce saffron, but we sell it! Of course, pets are welcome!

The communal areas allow you to enjoy the peace of the place and to feast your eyes on the evocative landscape that will accompany every single day of your stay.

Casa Viola is located on the first level of a stone farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. (Note you have to take stairs). The apartment is cozy and comfortable, this apartment is perfect for a romantic stay. It has directly at the door step a private terrace. Inside you have a Bedroom, bathroom (Shower and toilet) and you have a livingroom/kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped (except an oven).

The Il Monte apartment, on the first floor, takes its name from its garden side entrance, which is accessed via an external staircase that leads to a small covered terrace that can accommodate two comfortable seats for reading and relaxing and the table with private wrought iron chairs in the garden with a small gazebo.
