This is a private rental inn surrounded by the rich nature of the Iizuna Highlands. It was built in 1998, the year of the Nagano Olympics, at an altitude of 1200 m. The traditional wooden building, finished without a single nail, was completed by a renowned architect and a master carpenter. It is a calm space where you can feel the warmth of the craftsmanship. The strong yet delicate wooden frame, natural light through the shoji, and the shadows created by Isamu Noguchi's AKARI lighting create a beautiful fusion of tradition and modernity. The interior walls are made of Tosa plaster by artisans. You can have a comfortable stay regardless of the season, surrounded by the scent of cedar and cypress. The size is 195 ㎡. There are 4 Japanese-style rooms with 8 tatami mats that can accommodate up to 10 people. This place is perfect for those who want to experience the beauty and tranquility of Japan. Iizuna Kogen, where you can enjoy the seasonal nature. Beautiful green summer, colorful autumn leaves, and winter with snow-covered scenery - you can feel a different charm every time you visit. A highland summer resort with cool, refreshing breezes in the summer. Please spend a quiet and comfortable time relaxing in nature. Winter sports are also available at nearby ski resorts in winter. After plenty of fun, relax in the warm room - you can enjoy such a luxurious time to your heart's content.

Sanchi, a private rental inn with a panoramic view of the Northern Alps

Located in the northeast of Azumino, the former Meiko-cho overlooks the Northern Alps, Meiko is a place where the Sai, Takase, and Hotaka rivers converge, and is blessed with abundant spring water. There is a "beautiful scenery and tranquility that you want to leave behind" here We renovated an old building in Meiko, revived it into a retro-modern space, and created a rental inn. We put our heart into it, hoping that you will spend a rich and luxurious time relaxing and enjoying the air of Azumino It is a 5-minute walk from the facility to Meiko Station, and you can get to Matsumoto Station in two stops on the Shinonoi Line, so you can sightsee in Matsumoto It is also easy to get to Nagano. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Wakuku, a detached house on a hill in Owarano, Yao-cho, Toyama Prefecture. Meals available (extra charge).

"Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. The first floor is a living space with a dining table, and the second floor is a bedroom. From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance. Guests can optionally have breakfast, dinner, etc. (breakfast 1,000 yen, dinner from 2,000 yen. Please ask). Features of this inn include songs and saxophone performances by the owner couple, a wood stove experience, a barbecue in the garden, and calligraphy lessons (extra charge).
