Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Northeastern United States

I booked this spot for my birthday/ mother & daughter getaway and was not disappointed! The views were great and the whole place was very relaxing. Angela was quick to respond to any questions that we had. We traveled with my 3 year old rescue dog and he had the time of his life. There was plenty of space for him to run around! We will certainly be back!

No notes, incredible escape even in the pouring rain. The ambience, even down to the little things like walking through the door to classical music, was truly top notch.

My husband and I needed some time to re-bond and boy did this place and Tom & Carol deliver. The best airbnb we've ever stayed in, very romantic, beautiful, and inspiring. They put so much love and detail into the place, it went above and beyond in terms of amenities (they had everything we needed plus so much more). I had brought a lasagna that was too big to heat in their airfryer, so they offered to put it in their oven to heat up - which was lovely of them. Honestly this place and the hosts exceeded our expectations in every way. Tom & Carol gave us a personal tour of their beautiful property, gallery and house and all of Tom's artwork - which is everywhere. Tom is so talented and answered our many, many questions. They were super welcoming to my dog as well, and our dogs even played together! My only complaint w/tongue in cheek: Tom doesn't sell his work any longer as he's building a sculpture garden and museum - I get that, but it was hard to not buy some of his incredible work.

Very cozy lakehouse with beautiful view. Loved the hottub and even kayaked a bit in the lake :-) Had a great time, would love to visit again.

Olga's beautiful modern house in Upstate New York is a real gem nestled near a wild forest. The spacious house offers plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day exploring the area. The location offers a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure, with plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. Olga was a fantastic host – incredibly responsive and flexible, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The house itself is stunning, with modern amenities and stylish decor. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this Airbnb!

Edina and Glen's house was beautiful, spacious, and pristine. It was the perfect setting for a "girls weekend". The grounds were stunning, and made for a great setting. Very close to town, shopping, and wonderful restaurants. We really appreciated that our hosts were very proactive in reaching out and making all instructions clear. They were communicative and flexible. Thank you for having us in your beautiful home! Very memorable weekend.

We had a great time during our stay! The indoor pool was the real highlight—clean, well-maintained, and the surround sound music made it extra fun. The entire property was spotless and clearly well cared for. We even enjoyed S’mores at the outdoor fire pit. Chantale and Toni were incredibly accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Highly recommend for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

A great stay at the Lake House. Gorgeous views, fully stocked kitchen, and canoes/SUPs/kayak for everyone. Andrew was very responsive and a great host. We hope to return soon!

The Yay Frame lived right up to its name. My only regret was not being able to there sooner to spend more time in this oasis. From the hot tub, to the hooting owls, from the sauna to the arcade room with its arsenal of amazing books and games, this is a place I will rebook and consider every time I’m in the area. I would love to experience this home in the winter under a blanket of snow and after a day on the slopes. Shane is an excellent host. I left an item behind and he went above and beyond to make sure I could easily pick it up on my way back thru town.

Ami’s place was great! Stayed for my birthday and was surprised with a delicious tres leche cake upon my arrival! The view was incredible, amenities were amazing, overall it was everything I hoped for and more. Thanks Ami!

We had a lovely time at Jeff's beautiful property, there was everything provided to use one can imagine and a very clean house. We were really impressed. I had a truly wonderful stay at this small mansion! The property is beautiful—immaculately clean, cozy, and incredibly peaceful. The surroundings are stunning, with a breathtaking view just a short drive away. It felt private and serene, like a true home away from home. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, a restful retreat, or simply a peaceful place to unwind, this is the perfect spot, at least for me. I would absolutely come back again.

Definitely a space with great level of thoughts and details makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Surrounded by the nature, you can immerse yourself in the beautiful mountain view and bird chirps, very peaceful and tranquil. We saw deers walking by, rabbit hiding in bush from raining, and a little chipmunk busy around the house all the time. A micro-home with an incredible view!!! Very nice installation, great spa, covered balcony, fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, in short a great nice place. Nicolas was super quick to respond to our requests and super accommodating with us. We recommend without hesitation; his professionalism and flexibility were greatly appreciated.

This was our 3rd or 4th time here. Obviously we love the place! We have noticed improvements over the year, James and Irene take good care of this property. Had a small hiccup this visit and James was understanding and kind. This place is magical and its owners are responsive and helpful.

We loved staying at Rebecca’s cabin! It was a gorgeous place to get away and decompress. We had a fire and roasted marshmallows every night. It was so relaxing to having my morning coffee with the sound of the stream in the background. Rebecca was extremely responsive and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back when we need another getaway in the mountains!

The Waterfall Casita was beautiful, well equipped, clean and offered lots of privacy. The view to the waterfall was breathtaking. Perfect to relax, connect with nature and get a break from the daily hustle. Would’ve loved to stay longer! We were able to cook meals without any difficulties, the fridge though small was more than plenty of room for the essentials we brought. Jenn was kind, available and communicated quickly without disrupting the peace and privacy. The information about local places and instructions were clear and helpful. Would love to stay again!

What an ah-mazing little spot. Felt tranquil, comfortable and at home. Wildlife, bonfire, sauna… and the delightful gift of quiet. Well styled and comfortably appointed with a host that got it “just right”. Will definitely be back!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the cabin - modern amenities in a peaceful hillside setting. We were especially touched because we had inquired about local dining options for our children's dietary restrictions and the hosts left us snacks meeting those restrictions. Cabin was clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, and the upstairs loft has a creative solution for the beds that the kids did not feel as though they were bunkmates, even though they were sleeping in the same room. There were a variety of streaming options available on the two large TVs, and we had no issues finding the appropriate pots, pans or utensils when we made dinner for ourselves. We will long remember our family's two nights spent around fires - one night when it was too wet to make a proper fire outside was spent around the propane fire table, and the night around the fire pit making smores.
