Shipping container holiday rentals in Northeastern United States

This was our third stay at one of Porter’s shipping container cabin and probably our favorite. The field was so peaceful to watch as the grass moved with the wind, and the little bedroom window was the coziest place to watch it all from. Even with crazy downpours the night before our departure, we were enchanted with the cabin’s location and comfort.

David and Janet were great host! Allowed us to check in early and check out later due to our flight being later in the day. We loved the location! Totally would recommend. Plan to stay here in the future. Thank you!!

Porter and Sara were wonderful hosts—warm, responsive, and attentive throughout our stay. Their cabin was the perfect cozy escape from the city, ideally located near countless stunning hikes. We couldn’t have asked for a better mountain getaway.

What a wonder weekend away! This property was beautiful, quiet, and everything we needed for a weekend get away. We enjoyed a peaceful fire, explored downtown, and just embraced the slower pace. Porter and Sara were amazing hosts, they were quick to respond, checked in with us to ensure we had everything, and overall created an amazing space. The hot tub was tricky but once we figured it out it was great! If you are looking for a more rustic/glambing environment then this is the place for you!! We will definitely be back!!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! The home was just as stunning as in the pictures—clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature, which made it the perfect escape. Emma & Justin were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed taking a walk on the trail right off their property, and the evening fires were a highlight of our trip. We also had some fantastic meals at the local restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway!

Peaceful Retreat in Nature I spent one night in this unique shipping container in the woods, and it was such a peaceful, refreshing experience. Waking up to the view of the trees through the windows, watching them gently sway in the breeze, and breathing in the crisp, fresh air was pure bliss. The space was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. It felt cozy, quiet, and perfectly in tune with nature. Highly recommend for a serene getaway.

We loved it and had a great time there. We were able to get a great nights sleep, enjoy the beautiful yard and the beautiful scenery. We would definitely stay there again and are already looking at dates later this summer. Thank you again Greg and Michel.

Stayed for two nights and it was good for that. About 15 minute walk to the falls. Safe neighborhood. I walked my dog alone multiple times a day and felt fine. Space is clean. Bed is comfortable. Pull out bed is decent. Has everything you need. Washer/dryer did not work but the host responded and was willing to come by and fix it.

Overall our stay was awesome! The host leaves a clear instructions and expectations of what the stay will be like. Clear communication and even offered to extend our check out if needed.

Great secluded place for a peaceful vacation. Dog friendly and great amenities on the property. Hot tub and covered fire pit were great! Bring the essentials and food for your stay and you won’t want to leave! Very clean and the host is very responsive to any issues you may have.

This place is seriously amazing. If you are debating it just say yes. I looked at multiple and this one just kept standing out to us on the app. I’m so glad that I picked it. From Jason meeting us at the house to give us the code and walked us through the house to the amazing fun pods (they are huge) and places for the luggage in the pods was amazing. The owner sent us some amazing recommendations since we had never been there before. We loved the fun surprise waiting for us when we got there. The chalkboard sign that said our names. They went out of their way to make sure that we had such an amazing experience.

It was exactly what I needed for the weekend. Beautiful, peaceful place. Great host. Danny’s recommendation to eat at a local cafe was amassing. I will definitely will go back. 🙌🏽😉🙏🏽

I was camping in VT and our trip got cut short by a day due to rain but we didn’t wanna go home yet. We decided to stay somewhere more unique with a tiny house vibe and this place was the spot! Grateful for the late check in and check out during our stay. Donna met us in the parking lot and showed us our spot. She was very kind! They also have a wonderful property with a water front restaurant that has brunch too. Would highly recommend this place for a nice cozy evening :)

The place is beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. We were able to bring our Gracey Girl who had an amazing time with all of the smells in the secluded location. We were able to explore areas in town and Bar Harbor. Yes, it was a 45 minute ride to Bar Harbor but it didn't feel like it and to be able to come back to the beautiful home in the peace and quite was amazing. I was paranoid about the electricity, being off the grid, but there were no issues even though we had a couple of cloudy days. The wifi worked well too, both streaming TV and for the little bit of work I did while there.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hues of Blue. The property felt brand new and was impeccably clean, providing a truly comfortable and quiet retreat. Kimberly was an exceptional host, always quick to respond and incredibly friendly throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for better experience and we can't wait to stay there again!

i reserved the tiny home for my friend, so she had a place to stay while she was visiting me (during my visit to my parents' home). she enjoyed staying in the woods and said that it was a very peaceful experience. thank you, lauren, for your caring hospitality!
