A perfect hideaway with a gorgeous outside space nestled in the foothills of Mt. Paku. We would certainly recommend staying here for a peaceful retreat in a comfortable and clean room with everything you need. Tairua is a beautiful place and we loved our stay.

Absolutely loved this little piece of paradise. Would recommend to everyone.

Stayed with 2 grandchildren, aged 1 and 2. Kiddy plugs were on all electric plugs at their level, and the covers were down on the deck, preventing accidental fall, (although only a foot or so high). Super clean, lovely location, we have stayed before and we will stay again. This is THE BEST AirBnB out.

We came to stay for a forest getaway after a rather hectic year, and it was absolutely perfect. We got the best of both worlds with the weather - torrential rain which was actually lovely, very peaceful as cosy inside, and the outdoor bath looking into the 'rain'forest was magic! Beautiful sunshine at the end of our trip and nice and close to explore beautiful Mohua (Golden Bay). Absolutely loved the property, so well built and insulated, absolutely perfect - loved how eco-friendly it was too. We didn't want to leave and definitely want to come back!

We really loved staying with Roo and Camine. The whole vibe was definitely west coast peaceful surfing and ocean.. I felt I was back at Muir Beach CA. I felt nestled in a nice backyard garden, and the chickens liked saying hello when you walked by. Everything showed the care and craftsmanship that Roo put into creating the spaces. Definitely recommend and would have loved to have stayed longer.

Very neat place, tho at night the room gets a little stuffy, must open the sliding door and let the winds get in before ready to sleep. Overall it’s a very good spot to rest before continuing our journey!

This was a quirky fun stay. Felt like a little cabin in the woods. But opened up to beautiful vistas just up the drive. We enjoyed the cozy fire. Kitchen is good for light cooking and breakfast. Would be a little tight to make a big dinner feast. Would stay again.

Great place for 3 of us to stay for a night. Very comfortable and clean. Good facilities given the small space, suited our needs perfectly. Vicky and Vincent were very responsive too.

Breathtaking setting. Very comfortable setting. Great amenities. We really appreciated the access to a full washer and dryer. The view from the outdoor tub is amazing. So many nice touches make the stay cozy and delightful.

There is no wonder why this property has been rated 5 stars. It completely blew us away and was our final stop for our holiday around the north island and we felt so incredibly lucky to finish it by stargazing in the spa. Thank you! 🤍

11 out of 10! This place ticked all our boxes and absolutely exceeded our expectations! Private, gorgeous views and had everything we needed for a weekend away! We loved having an evening drink on the deck and watching the sunset in the hot tub! Silv and Steve were such wonderful hosts! They were friendly, genuine, generous and really walked the extra mile for us. Could not recommend their beautiful place enough!

Just the space I needed for my quick visit back home to Auckland. If I could I would have stayed longer. It is good to keep in mind the limitations that come with no kitchen, but overall a LOVELY stay, and I didn’t need much. They provided just enough. They had great wifi, bedding, appliances, space for WFH, and I was super appreciative of their flexible check in and check out times. Also really nice small touches around including their book of local recommendations. Located in the best suburbs in Auckland if you’re wanting to stay central (in my opinion). Close to everything you need. Parking is easy as well. Will be back next time I need a base in Auckland.

Such a lovely cosy, warm and quaint cabin. Beautifully appointed and styled, had everything you could possibly need. Such thought and care has gone into the place, gorgeous touches like milk, biscuits, candles, marshmallows and nice quality teas, hot chocolate and coffee. A real treat and pleasure to stay in somewhere presented to such a high standard and the outdoor bath tops the lot. Thanks so much Olivia you are doing a fantastic job.

A beautiful tiny home! A great spot to stay along our road trip around Northland. The farm we stayed on was lovely and a real treat to see some of the animals. Eve was lovely to communicate with and responsive to our messages. Thank you Eve!

Beautiful modern home with huge windows and sliding doors that make you feel like your outdoors, and excellent indoor/outdoor flow. It was great staying here with kids and having them play outside on the nice lawn. The neighbours have goats that you can feed, which was a fun activity to do each day. We loved having the pup, Cookie, come to visit. She is quite boistrous (at time of writing) which is something to be mindful of you have smaller children. There was no aircon, but huge doors and windows create excellent airflow, and the whole place is double glazed. we loved our stay here and would recommend it as a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Amy has a great place! The kitchen was spacious and well equipped for doing some of our own cooking. The bathroom was also very spacious. Access to laundry was greatly appreciated and the bed was very comfy! Just a short drive into Rotorua, Amy’s place was very peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend this place!

Matt’s place was perfect for our stay! We wish we could have stayed longer it was really comfortable, equipped with everything we needed, and very conveniently located.

Davina’s place had everything we could ask for. Surrounded by great walks and only 10 minutes by foot to town, it was the perfect location for our family getaway. We would definitely stay again!

It is a wonderfully cute place with lots of little touches and the true sense of being in the country. Shelley's comms and eye for details to make you feel like you're in a little home were just wonderful and the keys to the local HEATED outdoor pool were an underestimated bonus. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Anna's place! She was super friendly, and her home is just amazing—fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect holiday or weekend getaway. The place comfortably fits six people, and the vibe of the property is truly special. The best part? The view from the deck. Having a drink there at sunset felt like a hug to my soul.
