Basic kitchen facilities, TV and bathroom are all provided. What more could you want?

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

Karaka Alpaca B&B Farmstay

Our 11-acre farm has alpacas, Buster the cat, horses and sheep as well as stunning views over the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean. This unique place has a style all its own. Come and enjoy some peace and quiet admiring the outstanding views of Mount Benger in your own wood stoked stainless steel hot tub. The hot tub will be filled with fresh water and heated on request. There are several outstanding cafes locally along with the beautiful Clutha Gold Cycle trail. The Millers Flat Tavern is open for meals Pinders Pond is a local swimming attraction. Highland Bike hire in Roxburgh has ebikes for hire.

The cute cottage is set on a quiet 10-acre property with incredible mountain views & big starry skies. Just 17km from the town of Twizel, it offers both privacy & modern comforts. Visit Tekapo or Mt Cook then relax in a private wood-fired hot tub under the stars of the dark sky reserve. Very safe location. 50 mins to Mt Cook/Tekapo or 2.5 hrs to Queenstown.

Open the doors right up on a nice day and enjoy the fresh air or cozy up with a blanket on the couch in front of the fire when the weather makes you want to bunker down. The outdoor bath is the icing on the cake to allow you to take in the views while relaxing in the tub
