Our stay at Lori and Mike’s place was absolutely fantastic, and Lori truly made it unforgettable. While Mike was away on a trip, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a comfortable, personalized experience. She checked in with us just enough to make sure we were all set and shared amazing local tips that really made our trip extra special. Her kindness, attention to detail, and friendly energy made all the difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Thank you so much, Lori—you’re truly one of a kind!

Five stars all around. This was my wife and I's second time staying at Mai's place (the first time being one year ago on our honeymoon!). We love SF, and Mai's place is the perfect respite from the city while remaining relatively close to most areas of interest. Mai is so kind and accommodating, and her place surely does feel like home! We look forward to staying here again and again in the future.

Our stay at the Quail House was everything we wanted and so much more. A truly magical place. Judith was also an incredible host and a pleasure to get to know.

Very quiet and peaceful setting for relaxation and reading and writing. Easy walking to a lot of good restaurants and public transport. Rainbow and Zan were easy to communicate with and facilitated an early check in which was helpful. Would stay here again!

My family stayed in Teresa’s place and could not have had a more wonderful experience. Teresa was lovely and very communicative which made everything super easy. The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. We walked everywhere and always had a quiet, cool spot to come home to at the end of the day. I highly recommend staying here ♥️ We hope to be back!!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The garden is full of flowers and eucalyptus trees, and the spa is peaceful and private. The space is bright, very clean, and has all the amenities you could need. The bed was super comfortable and the comforter nice and warm. We especially loved the owner’s artwork displayed throughout the cottage—it adds such a personal touch. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. Tilden Park is just 10 minutes away and perfect for nature walks. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely come back!

Great stay, comfortable home and just what we needed. Hosts were very friendly and helpful for any question we had. Bedroom bed was very comfortable and the house is decorated beautifully as well as very clean. Loved the window seat to relax by. Directions to house were great and helped us find it the first time up the hill. The home manual was very informative and we also loved all the local recommendations. I would definitely recommend this home for others needing to stay on this area.

Clear check-in instructions and communicative throughout. There really is a difference in a great host. The place was clean and comfy and was located right where we wanted to be. Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, and pop over to SF all in a single day. Corte Madera nearby as well as Whole Foods and Target.

Wir haben 5 Tage in SF verbracht und waren begeistert von Lindas Tiny Haus. Das Auto stand sicher in der Einfahrt und es gab 3 Buslinien in der Nähe, um zu allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu kommen. Das MUNI Tagesticket kostet ab 1.7.2025 5,70$. Das ist supergünstig, die Fahrt dauert ca. eine Stunde. Ein Laden für die wichtigsten Lebensmittel gibt es in Laufweite. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, so dass wir dort frühstücken konnten und auch einfache Gerichte gekocht haben. Das Essen am Tisch neben dem Bett ist eng, aber ok. Alles war super sauber und funktional eingerichtet. Sogar Klima und Heizung. Das Duschen in dem kleinen Bad ging auch sehr gut. Leider war es zu kalt, um den Sitzplatz draußen zu benutzen. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig. Vielen Dank für die Snacks, Linda :-)

My husband and I stayed in Anita’s home for a few days while in the area for a wedding. The photos of the private patio space and well equipped, modern interior were what drew us in and they didn’t disappoint. We had everything we needed including small touches that go a long way like bottled water (and miniature chocolates— a necessity for me personally). The home is well lit with natural daylight, while still being very turn-down friendly with nice shades and window treatments. We really enjoyed the patio space and the (gated) private entry. It was safe, clean and cozy, a very easy place to make home for several days+. While there, we even got a few glimpses and interactions with Anita’s PRECIOUS dog, Oisin and frankly wish we got to see more of him as we were missing our own dog at home (though he is much quieter, and we never heard a peep). Location was great, just a short distance from one of the top rated lunch spots in Sonoma. We’d definitely stay here again!

This was our first time staying in a guesthouse, and sharing a space with the owners, and I was completely blown away, we both felt right at home, so much so we didn’t wanna leave haha. Victor and Michelle gave us our privacy but also complete freedom to play music, relax on the patio, and roam around their absolutely beautiful backyard. We were able to come and go as we please and always know our things would be safe. The kitchen had everything you could need, the bed was extra comfy and the shower was a DREAM, the whole experience was incredibly cozy and peaceful. This was truly the best place we both have ever stayed, 1000% would recommend!!!

Our stay at Lucy's cottage was wonderfully positive!   Despite being out of town during our stay, Lucy was quick to answer questions.. The cottage is tiny but expertly organized, with an extremely well-appointed bathroom. There is plenty of natural light and fresh air available. There was construction happening nearby but at night the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The location is superb, within a couple of walkable blocks down to the Mill Valley Market and The Depot, to which we returned not only for meals (the Avocado Toast is amazing!) but also for the unique community feel The Depot plaza offers.  From there it's just a few blocks up to the entrancing Old Mill Park and the stunning Mill Valley Library. The beautifully forested 1.2 mile walk up to Cascade Falls was well worth the exertion on a hot afternoon. This trip was our first "escape" from responsibilities since 2020 and the entire experience was refreshing and healing.

Super spot for us! We were in town for a party and the host was great at checking in to make sure we had everything we needed! Lovely Airbnb!

Alexi's place was wonderful for a three night, mid-week stay. His place is clean and spotless. Quiet and peaceful. The pictures and description are accurate. I found the neighborhood behind his house to be a lovely and hilly place to walk. There is a teeny bit of a walk from parking on the street in front of the house to the unit at the back of the property, but that takes only one minute and is easily doable by anyone. Just keep that in mind if you need to make multiple trips to bring in your things. Alexi is a great host. Very communicative, kind, and easy to interact with.

Ellie and Cyrus were wonderful hosts. They were always very responsive and willing to help, including changing the lock battery when it was low for our peace of mind! They were also able to accommodate our request to stay an extra night which was much appreciated. Great little spot for a couple and a toddler. Nearby lots of trails, charming downtown Mill Valley and bustling Sausalito. Also very easy to get to SF. I would highly recommend this stay, but bring lots of warm clothes because there is only one “heater” that does not reach the entire place, particularly the bed!

Sarah’s place was really cozy and quiet! We spent a lot of time in SF but it was really nice coming back to the cottage and sleep in the comfortable bed! We would definitely stay again. It wasn’t too far from public transportation and the view was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed and we really enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinner with the view!

We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The yard is tranquil and beautiful, and the interior is larger than shown in the images. The carpet is fluffy, and the bathroom was very clean. We enjoyed our time here and wished we had more time to enjoy the sauna.

Xiaol’s place was nestled in a super quiet suburban neighborhood. It was peaceful, we didn’t hear a thing when we slept. The house was spacious enough we enjoyed daily yoga. My husband loved the bedroom mattress. I really loved the sofa bed because it was firm and even. I don’t sleep on soft mattresses so the sofa bed let me sleep like a baby. The kitchen was a good size and had everything we needed. I enjoyed complete privacy while Xiaole responded our questions but left us undisturbed. The large screen TV was pristine and very easy to use as well. The house had what we exactly needed. So if you need a private, peaceful house, you can’t go wrong with Xiaole’s listings!

If you're looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax, we HIGHLY recommend Barrel Lounge. Whether you want to chill in the hot tub, lay in the pool, or lounge on the deck while grillin' out, this place has it all. Beyond the amenities, the hosts, Kathy and Jim are incredible. They were very accommodating, providing everything we could have needed. They are two of the most kind-hearted people. Every interaction with them was a delight. Top notch experience: 1000/100 as our son would say. Many thanks to Kathy and Jim for making our honeymoon one that we'll never forget.

simply Laura's family are so wonderful hostess, beautiful persons and the house is very nice place, peaceful, beautiful and for my wife and I will be thinking to return again soon.

Eliza's place was wonderful for us (two parents and a 4 month old baby) for a weekend - we had everything we needed and it was incredibly easy to check in and out. Eliza and her family were there and great to spend time with, but we also felt we had space to ourselves to rest and relax. We will hopefully be back!

Description and the pictures were all accurate. Very easy walking distance to the BART station with easy access into SF. House is very private and in a nice area. Polina was extremely helpful with making recommendations for SF. Would certainly recommend.

Sherry was an exceptionally thoughtful, kind, and responsive host. She replied almost immediately to any questions I had and made sure that I was always comfortable in the Cottage. It was well stocked, kept very clean, and had everything I needed for a three month stay. I couldn't recommend Sherry or this property more highly.
