Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Metropolitan City of Palermo

Amazing location right on the beach. Very nice and helpful host. For a good selection of shops and restaurants, the car is necessary.

Marina’s tiny little hideaway is in the best location. There’s so much to see and do right around every corner, and you truly couldn’t ask for a better location. She also provides fresh fruit and some cold drinks if needed, which were very much appreciated. The place is clean and comfortable with a lot of beautiful old charm, but the amenities are modern. If you are not from the area and thinking of driving into the city, maybe think again. The driving is difficult and the city now has a ZTL zone enforcement, which means you have to go through a process of paying for entrance on each day (except Sundays). It’s not expensive but it’s a bit of a hassle, and more importantly, the driving is stressful. Note: This info is nothing to do with our lovely apartment specifically, but worth mentioning if anyone is planning on doing what we did.

The experience at Gianluca's villa was simply unforgettable. Immersed in an oasis of tranquility, the villa offers unparalleled tranquility, ideal for those who want to get away from the daily hustle and bustle. The pool, perfectly cared for, is the real heart of the house: spending the days on the bathtub with a splendid view of the sea has been restorative. The view is breathtaking, with the sea stretching over the horizon, offering incredible shows especially at sunset. At night, the starry sky was the icing on the cake. The lack of light pollution made it possible to admire once celestial times punctuated by stars, creating a magical and romantic atmosphere. In short, this villa is perfect for those looking for an elegant and relaxing retreat, where the sea, nature and peace meet in perfect balance. I can't wait to go back!

The moment we arrived we were welcomed by Gaetano and Maria Francesca who couldn’t be more gracious and attentive during our stay. We were greeted with a lovely basket of fruit and snacks and our accommodations exceeded our expectations. The furnishings and artwork by Francesca were so beautiful! Our hosts were a phone call away and were available any time for recommendations in the vicinity. We hope to come back again one day soon! Ciao❤️🇮🇹

The view is amazing, even better than the pictures. The Home is super clean...the hostess was a great communicator and was extremely prompt in answering our inquiries. We would definitely come back here again, loved every second we were here.

It's been a wonderful time! The surroundings were fantastic, and the apartment was very nice, equipped with everything you need. The host and neighbor are incredibly warm people who really strive to fulfill every wish. Everything was perfect, I'd love to come back!

An amazing getaway! A pristine, rustic, and cozy sicilian home nestled in a citrus and olive orchard with a 200 meter walk to the beach. Quiet, except for the birds and the occasional car. Full kitchen to cook what you learned at at a local cooking class and a great family run restaruant an few minutes walk away. Close to main roads for adventures out and a train station about a kilometer away if you prefer. The host was friendly and helpful with recomendations and understanding Sicily if it is your first time. He spoke English very well and a variety of other languages. This was a great location to live and breathe Sicillian culture and to have a quiet place to rest. Overall an amazing countryside stay that was still close to Cefalu and Palermo. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I had a brilliant week in this gorgeous place. The host, Emanuele, and his parents couldn't have been more helpful, with suggestions of places to go, details about the house and prompt and helpful answers to queries. The parents met us on arrival with stunning snacks, huge smiles and a wealth of information, all conveyed without a common language... with a bit of help from Google Translate!! The house is just lovely, very well appointed, and the garden and pool just heavenly! We didn't travel far afield as the pool and beach provided all we needed, including That's Amore, a delightful restaurant on the beach. We were there out of season so it was very quiet which suited us! But we did also sample the more touristy side of life in beautiful Cefalù just 15 minutes drive away (or easily accessible by train). There are sites to see, beach front bars, cafés and restaurants, gift shops etc and a climb up La Rocca overlooking the town is well worth it. We will be back!

The Adil’s apartment is like on the photos. The two principal rooms are big. One with 3 beds and the other one with 2 beds. The third room don’t have windows and a double bed. The kitchen is small, but enough for preparing a quick lunch or a breakfast. It is really near Central Station, so it’s very easy to arrive by train from the airport. Adil answers you quickly when you have questions and always try to help you.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Sergio and his wife who were amazing hosts. A welcome with small onions, recommendations and above all the pleasure of sharing tradition. We felt at home during this WE and it's thanks to you. A clean, well-equipped, spacious and above all very well located for visiting Palermo on foot! I highly recommend this listing!! I will remember my 30th birthday in Palermo for a long time!

Such a cute and quiet place to get away from the city just what we needed! Tania was so nice and we were able to hang out in the garden, pick the fig trees, have eggs from her chickens! Just incredible experience!

The apartment is located in the best Palermo’s area, everything reachable by foot and amazing bars and restaurants few minutes walking distance. The apartment is perfect for 2-4 people, everything you need is inside and it is super cozy and beautiful. On top of it, Enrico is a very helpful and kind host. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful townhouse with very generous layout, comfortable beds and lots of charm. Everything you want to see is within walking distance. The clairaudience described by the other guests is unusual at first, but we felt very comfortable!

A big thank you to Antonio and Federica for their warm and very professional hosting. They were attentive, responsive when we needed something and particularly charming! We were even very spoiled with a basket full of good local products when we arrived and a beautiful tray of great cakes when we left! Thank you again a thousand times for this great welcome!

We loved out stay with Rosellina. She went over the top to be sure we were taken care of including an unexpected lite dinner with a local bottle of wine due to our check in being late after a long day of travel. Her recommendations were very helpful and she was even able to provide us with a last minute taxi to the airport. Outstanding location and very relaxing environment. We did not see air conditioning but with the doors open, fans running and ocean breezes, we did not need it. This may be an issue during summer. The kitchen was excellent, as was the Wifi. We have stayed with many hosts over the years, but she was the best

Anna and her husband were very welcoming and great to communicate with before and during our stay. Great people. The house is beautiful and you really feel at home. It's a 10 minute drive to Cefalu centre, with the house still being very private and quiet with a stunning view overlooking the city and sea. We were a big family visiting and there was plenty of space for all of us, both outside and inside. We would gladly visit again.

We were wondering if Sicily is worth a trip in January: and the answer is simple : Yes! In Maria and Littorio's house there was nothing missing, it was warm and cozy thanks to the oven (also safe with toddler), there were toys for the child and the terrace was good to use despite "winter". The view of the mountains and Castelbuono was spectacular! Maria was a phenomenal host, she treated us like friends: always responded immediately, explained everything well and took us to the chickens. We recommend the place 1000%.

We very much enjoyed our week's stay at Citta del Mare-Perla del Golfo. We were met by the hosts who showed us the house and a private swimming spot which was amazing and which we used every day. The house is well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Guido was very responsive to our questions and provided restaurant suggestions and other advice. Two great finds from the area are the Maniaci Bakery in Terrasini, and the Latteria Serra Alla Faccia del Cacciocavallo near Terrasini. The only negative was a bar a couple of streets away that played loud music at times, but it fortunately never went very late. We would stay there again.

We had a great stay at Livio's beautiful house. The area is magnificent with rolling hills of grape vines and olive trees. Private and peaceful yet close to town. Livio was very helpful with directions, recommendations and keeping us informed. The house is clean, spacious and modern. The upstairs deck is great to sit and enjoy the view.

Caterina's villa on the sea is what every vacationer dreams of when planning a trip to Sicily. A gorgeous gated home with all the amenities, in a spectacular location overlooking the tranquil blue Mediterranean sea. Every aspect of the home was perfect, from the spacious patio to the well-appointed kitchen. Caterina met us when we checked in and walked us through the home, explaining everything. She even had an amazing welcome spread of breads, fruits and wine waiting for us, which was so necessary after our long day of travel. The home's location in the Capo Gallo Nature Preserve is the perfect place to retreat to after a hectic day of activity. We were vacationing with my elderly parents on the their first trip to Europe and we really appreciated the ability to stretch out and relax in our own home-away-from-home, rather than just a hotel room. We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners we prepared ourselves, and only ate out for lunch. The home was perfect for our first trip to Sicily.
