Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mälaren

Alla som bodde i huset var överens om att detta var ett kanonbra boende. Härlig natur, djur i närheten och frisk luft. En av gästerna funderar allvarligt på att boka in sig själv på boendet för att det gav henne ett sånt lugn. I någon form så återkommer vi gärna vid fler tillfällen. Das Haus ist etwas ganz besonderes, ein Ort mit Seele! Wir haben die Zeit an diesem Platz sehr genossen und würden gerne wiederkommen. Susanna, als auch Ihr Mann, waren entzückend!

Fantastiskt välkomnande till huset där det också stod vackra tulpaner och väntande, en fin touch. Strålande vackert hus fullt utrustat med allt vi behövde. Rent fint och precis miljön vi hoppades på. Att kika ut över vackra omgivningar morgon och kväll! Det var en oväntad kall helg då är huset fint att vara inne och spela spel i och vi uppskattade i synnerhet utflykt till Väddö gårdmejeri tillsammans med barnen. Trevlig badplats en kort promenad bort!

Staying at this lakeside house by Kroksjön was an exceptional experience. The cleanliness was impeccable everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The fireplaces were a highlight. Both the traditional wood-burning and modern styles created a warm, cozy atmosphere in the evenings a perfect way to unwind in the middle of nature. The private hot tub overlooking the lake was absolutely amazing. Soaking in the warm water while surrounded by peaceful nature was incredibly relaxing and added a special touch to the whole experience. The house is surrounded by pure nature, peaceful, serene, and filled with the calming sound of birdsong. Wallbox charger for our electric car was a major convenience. Highly recommended.

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

Just everything was great. Göran was one of the best host we ever had, very helpful and flexible. We could check in earlier without a problem. House is supperb. Everything works as you would expect. Souna is great with a beautiful view and relax room + shower :). You will just hear birds singing as there is a privat road that leads there. There is plenty of deer. Hoak flys above. I even spoted a fox when I went for a morning cikling.

Die Hütte ist ein charmantes, altes Fischerhaus mit liebevollen Details, einem modernisierten Bad und einer voll eingerichteten Küche. Der Kamin sorgt für eine gemütliche Atmosphäre am Abend. Das Grundstück ist sehr schön angelegt und bietet eine tolle Sicht auf den See. Kinder können sich an dem Fußballtor und auf dem großen Trampolin austoben, während das Ruderboot zu einer Runde über den See einlädt. Die Eltern der Gastgeberin, die in der Nähe wohnen, sind sehr nett und haben uns herzlich begrüßt. Die Bahngleise hinter dem Haus stören vermutlich nur bei sehr unruhigem Schlaf, uns hat es nichts aus gemacht. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Lovely and well-equipped apartment in a peaceful neighborhood in walking distance to the city center. I had a very pleasant stay!

It was a great place for 3 of us. We were able to walk or take public transportation to most places.

Fabulous location , we walked everywhere . Real old town building with original features ,beautiful old stone stairwell to top ,78 steps . Loved our time there . Stockholm is a beautiful city . Hosted by Bella very quick to respond very helpful thank you.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in Gamla Stan, einem äußerst zentralen Viertel, das es ermöglicht, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, die Küche bietet alles, was man für die Zubereitung eigener Mahlzeiten braucht. Es ist der perfekte Rückzugsort nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in der Stadt. Die Sauberkeit der Räumlichkeiten war tadellos und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Diese Wohnung ist ideal für alle, die Stockholm entdecken möchten, ohne auf Komfort und Gemütlichkeit verzichten zu müssen. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Aufenthalt! Danke Elisabeth und Nils für eure grosszügige Gastfreundschaft.

Aneta was a great host. Our stay at Aneta's place was very cozy and spacious. Aneta's apartment was very clean upon our arrival. Her place is modern and had all the amenities we required. Aneta's apartment's location is just a short walk to the city center yet was in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We would recommend Aneta's apartment as a great place to stay when visiting Uppsala.

We had a wonderful stay at Anna’s house. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The place is incredibly peaceful, perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful walks through the forest just around the corner. The house itself is spotless, minimalist, and thoughtfully arranged. Everything was exactly as described. Anna, the host, is truly a ray of sunshine; kind, welcoming, and always helpful. We already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Magnus was an excellent communicator and his place was as described. The location was great and we walked everywhere because the weather was beautiful. We did a bike tour, the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and ate a lot of great food! It was so nice to come back to a comfy apartment to relax. The washer/dryer was a nice benefit as we prepared for our next journey. Thank you for a great stay Magnus!

Trevlig vistelse med en bra och engagerad värd. Man kände sig välkommen. Sysselsättning i boendet för stora och små och det känns privat och enskilt även om det är flera boenden i huset. Upplevde omgivningen som lugn. Fanns allt jag och min familj behövde för vistelsen och jag tycker även det var prisvärt. Bokar gärna där igen när jag behöver. Det man kan vara medveten om är att det hörs när de som bor ovanför går omkring på morgonkvisten i fall man stör sig på sådant.

Boendet var väldigt fin med en av de finaste utsikterna. Jag och mina syskon älskade det. Roger lätt att få tag på och svarade snabbt. Vi kommer definitivt boka om igen. 🙏🏾

(6 Erwachsene, 12 Tage) Haus + Umgebung sind traumhaft. Schöner als auf den Fotos. Haus + Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Großes Hauptschlafzimmer (Kleiderschrank, Badezimmer (Doppeldusche + Badewanne) großes Bett + Fernseher). 2. Zimmer - schönes Bett, jedoch keinen Kleiderschrank, somit auch kleiner. 3. Zimmer hat Etagenbett und ein 140 cm breites Bett + Ankleide. Eher Kinderzimmer. Wir haben nach einer Woche die Zimmer getauscht. 2. + 3. gemeinsames Bad (Dusche) + Fernsehzimmer Haus hat große Fenster, ist lichtdurchflutet + bietet einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den See. Große Terrasse mit Feuerstelle, Grill und diversem Mobiliar. Negative Punkte: Einige Küchenmaschinen + Grill waren nicht sauber, was aber eher an den vorherigen Besuchern liegt. Die Bettdecken und Matratzen wiesen Gebrauchsspuren auf. Linda + Michael waren immer erreichbar + sehr zuvorkommend. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen + würde gerne wieder dort meinen Urlaub verbringen. Tack så mycket!

Frida var fantastiskt både innan- och under hela vår vistelse. Svarade snabbt och var alltid flexibel med våra önskemål. Huset var vackert beläget och hade allt man önskade för en tjejhelg. Skulle gärna vilja komma tillbaka hit någon annan gång.

The perfect stay for our little family. Annah and Alex were extremely kind and helpful throughout our whole stay. Our kids (2 and 4) had the absolute greatest time exploring the house, grounds, animals and activities. Couldn't recommend more!

Wir hatten hier einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und der Ausblick auf das Meer einfach traumhaft schön. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen. Das Haus ist in einer ruhigen Lage und von hier aus haben wir viele Ausflüge unternommen. Der Gastgeber war jederzeit erreichbar und antwortete sehr schnell. Vielen lieben Dank für die schöne Zeit die wir hier verbracht durften.

Wir hatten schöne, entspannte Tage in diesem wundervollen, und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus auf der ruhigen, aber gut erreichbaren Insel. Infrastruktur und Ausstattung sind sehr gut und durchdacht, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Viele Lebensmittel, Gewürze etc. standen im Haus zur Verfügung und der Supermarkt auf der Nachbarinsel war mit dem Boot gut erreichbar. Das kleine Elektroboot war super um die Küste in der Nähe zu erkunden und hat den Einkauf auf Möja zu einem schönen Ausflug gemacht. Selbst bei Regen war es sehr gemütlich und wir haben die Natur bei jedem Wetter durch die großen Fenster genossen. Am Abend kamen sogar Rehe vorbei.

Lennart and Chicki's house is a stunning stay. The view is just amazing and sitting watching the boats go by was so calming and relaxing. it's not far to drive to Saltsjõbaden where there are restaurants and cafes and a supermarket. It's best to have a car to stay here. The fact that it's slightly off the beaten path is the thing that makes it so special. The house has everything you need - comfy beds, great shower, big outdoor area, nice kitchen. Chicki was great to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the lovely stay 🙂

Great place, definitely recommended if you are aiming for some quiet days in the nature! The place is well equipped and perfect for a family.
