Holiday rentals with a kayak in Mälaren

We had a great time at Joakim‘s cabin. It‘s in a quiet and beautiful area, perfect for small hikes. We were also allowed to lend kajaks and explore the nearby lakes. Would definitely recommend for a cozy getaway!

Louise's home is completely immersed in the greenery between the lake and the property! A beautiful place to spend days full of nature and relaxation! Louise is very good as a host and was always super helpful. Thank you for welcoming us Louise!!

We were 9 adults and 3 toddlers celebrating Easter in the house without needing to be crowded. Here was everything we could wish for. The house was both big, beautiful and child friendly. We took the opportunity to swim in the lake and walk to Vargstenarna on Värmdöleden - happy to come back.

We booked Robert's place because we had a family gathering nearby: the house and the stay were great! Beautiful views from a great terrace, but also from the dining room and living room. Spacious bedrooms for 5 people and a great sofa bed for another two people. More than spacious kitchen, really all necessities are available! But most importantly: a cozy house! In addition, Robert was very attentive, contacted if everything was ok, but respected privacy! For us, a great week in a beautiful setting! Certainly subject to repetition!

Hans and Lena are super nice hosts. Very helpful and available at any time. The house is a dream, a fantastic view of the Streömmakanal from almost every window. The evenings at the jetty with a glass of wine were very nice, but also on the terrace, which belongs to the cottage and which you have all to yourself, it is cozy with a wonderful view. The deer came to dusk. Unfortunately, we waited on moose in vain. The connection to the city is very easy. Bus 433 or 434 goes directly to Slussen in the city or in the other direction to Stavsnäs from where the ferries go to the nearby islands such as Sandhamn. In the vicinity you can make beautiful hikes. The house is very spacious and bigger than we expected. Very nice bathroom with many storage options. The kitchen has everything you need including toaster. Only the way to the supermarket is a little further. We would come back and highly recommend it.

Very good accommodation, we were there three families (12 people) and there is plenty of space. Perfect with a barbecue cabin down by the lake. Sauna and hot tub worked great!

We had a very nice holiday in Anne's house for two weeks as a family. The house is comfortably furnished and the kitchen is super equipped. We especially enjoyed the peace and proximity of the lake. It was great that we could use Anne's canoe at any time. The environment is beautiful with the many lakes and forests as you imagine Sweden. Ulrike and Hartmut

What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

Peter and Malin were wonderful hosts that were always very responsive to our texts and last minute requests! Their place was spotless, cozy and has a very well equipped kitchen. The highlight of our stay was the hot tub that overlooked the sunset and the sea. It was the perfect 2-night getaway destination!

Was a super nice weekend getaway! Definitely recommending the jacuzzi and barbecuing with a view!! Bathroom felt a bit cramped for 6 people. Alright for a short period of time though. Would book it again 10/10 wow

Great place for a long weekend escape from Stockholm with family, calm and clean place , bit cold for Easter but there is fireplace,would be perfect for a summer weekend, then will be more activities around the water 👍

We (family of three) had a wonderful time in the simple, sensibly equipped little house with sea view. Bathroom and kitchen are in the main house, but were usable at any time. The location is very close to nature and really exceptional. Perfect for relaxing and hiking in the surrounding area. In less than an hour, however, you are also in Stockholm and can immerse yourself in city life. Lotte and Olle were perfect hosts and we felt very comfortable.

Nice little Airbnb, you have everything you need. I would recommend it 100%. Also furnished with attention to detail. Also quiet location and Malin is super nice and helpful.

Very pleasant accommodation in a beautiful location on the water. Fully equipped. In the morning we had nice coffee with a croissant. We were allowed to use the sup and canoe. Very friendly hosts

Tomas' place is very cozy and with all amenities one can need. A bit tight for two adults, 1 kid and 1 toddler but the fantastic view and the proximity to both Norrköping and Kolmården compensated for it. I would definitely go again.

We stayed in this lovely cottage for two nights. The stay was very lovely with a well functioning sauna located close to the swimming area, we also borrowed the canoe and fished from both the canoe and the jetty by the house. The cottage offers a peaceful and private experience. Anders has been very easy to communicate with as well as helpful in every way. I definitely recommend several to rent this place if you are looking for an honest Swedish cabin experience.

We had a wonderful stay at a real red Sweden house. A stay as it says in the book. We were able to get to know Sweden as one imagines it. And the house was exactly as described in the pictures. Clean, lovingly furnished, easy to feel good, great quiet secluded location (if you are looking for it) and right by the sea. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

Katarina and her place fascinated us. The view alone was enough, the furniture and the amenities are modern and homely at the same time, there was nothing missing. The place was very clean too. The island on which the property is located is beautiful and quiet, the residents are very friendly and helpful. The island is very easy to reach via the address using navigation which guides you via two free ferries that also work smoothly. As already mentioned, the accommodation has everything you need, all appliances and such, outside there are also several grills and such. Katarina herself is always available and answered us lightning fast. Check-in also worked very quickly and contactlessly, which we always prefer. I have fallen in love with Sweden since this stay. I can highly recommend it. The island also has a supermarket that has everything you need, although Katarina has spices and co in the accommodation. Thank you🙏
