We felt very comfortable! The only thing to keep in mind is that in summer in Sweden, it is very bright for a very long time, so take an eye patch with you. For the people who like to sleep in the dark. Not a bad tip Otherwise, we were extremely satisfied

A very nice cottage in a cozy environment. Close to the lake where we swam and went out with the rowing boat. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. Katarina was a great host. Next time, we'll stay for more nights. Dan, Anna and Myran 😀

We loved our stay here. The cabin is small (as advertised) and local ferries infrequent (but reliable), but it was 100% worth it. Tranholmen is a magical, 'get away from it all' place, and Kenneth and Charlotte are warm, helpful and generous hosts. Sitting on the jetty in the afternoon sun or catching a ferry to Stockholm made great memories! Public transport around Stockholm well integrated (one ticket for bus, tram, train and ferry) and easy to use (we got the SL app)

We were personally welcomed with a refrigerator filled with high-quality food. The hosts were very warm and always available. The garden house is well maintained, comfortably furnished and you get visits from deer in the garden. You can get to the city centre quickly by train. Overall, the accommodation is really a gem.

If it was possible to give this place and Irja 10 points. Would we give it. Sten, who is Irja's husband, is just as nice. Has stayed here several times and every time we go home. We long to return. We have been on an excursion (there are brochures in the cottage) Hembygdsgården is a nice place to eat and have coffee. Love the cottage and the plot that goes down to the water. Own jetty. Peace and quiet. Watch the boats gliding by. Best of all is the hospitality. In a few weeks (July) we will see each other again. // Jenny and Desi with dogs

Very nice and cozy stay if you want to explore Vaxholm area! 😊 The place was clean, had everything we needed and felt very cozy. It was great that we could just walk around the island and when we could borrow the bikes for free to explore Vaxholm 🏝. Linda and her husband are very nice too, gave us lots of local tips and the communication was always very easy and fast. Can only recommend!

Nice and very tastefully decorated cottage, perfect accommodation for a romantic couple trip. Fantastic views of the sea and wonderful sunsets. The sauna was much appreciated. Very communicative host who was concerned about how we were doing.

A true Stockholm archipelago dream! It is beautiful, remote and offers a unique archipelago experience, I would come back in a heartbeat.

A real little haven of peace! The accommodation is modern, well laid out and perfectly located by the sea with breathtaking views. We loved the tranquility of the surrounding nature. Ideal to unwind. Everything was clean and well thought out, the host is responsive and welcoming. Highly recommended!

It was just great!!! We were in Victoria's house the first week of June, had 3 wonderful sunsets out of 6 nights. The landlady lived next door, we were allowed to use the private jetty. In our time, there wasn't much going on in the village (only on weekends was a café open), but it was wonderfully quiet. Supermarket and pizzeria were open, in Södersvik there is a great bakery. Modern and well thought-out equipment in the hut, even an umbrella was available. Wi-Fi worked great, the large window was a dream. We spent a day in Stockholm. The landlady gave us the tip to park in the free commuter car park in the south of Norrtälje. From there, a bus runs directly to Stockholm every 20 minutes. Payable on the bus, was great👌🏻 Clear recommendation!

This place is truly wonderful. We stayed here for a few days for our mini moon and it was perfect! We were lucky with the weather so were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the lake, a row in the boat, the sauna and relaxed on the balcony. It was peaceful and clean. We hopped on the bus to Stockholm which was super easy! The bed was extremely comfortable and the snacks in the fridge were a bonus. The place is even better than the photos! Would recommend! The four of us stayed at this home for nine nights. We arrived by public transport. Together with the outdoor area there was enough space, on rainy days it got a little cramped. The property is about 6 minutes by bus from Rimbo, where you can shop. In Rimbo there is also a delivery point for kayaks, unfortunately sea companions were missing at the property itself. The basic amenities were sufficient, we usually cooked. There is an outdoor shower with hot water and a plum toilet. There is no wifi. The communication with the landlady was always prompt and straightforward. We would recommend a stay.

Me and my partner had the most wonderful stay at Stina’s cabin. The setting was stunning, even more beautiful than we expected! The cabin had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing three days on the island. We had a lovely time rowing the boat to Vindalsö, having saunas and quick dips in the sea, and a barbecue. We took the ferry to Sandhamn for the day- highly recommend for gorgeous beaches and picturesque houses. Stina was really friendly and helpful and also let us do our own thing. An ideal island retreat!

Cosy, thoughtfully designed cottage with unique outdoor shower & relaxing patio tub. Well-equipped kitchen & inviting fireplace. Fantastic location: peaceful yet close to Torö stenstrand & Nynäshamn. Emelie's local tips were invaluable. Her exceptional hospitality truly stood out; she went above & beyond (new oars for the boat!). A true gem for a tranquil escape. Highly recommend! Left refreshed & grateful. Can't wait to return!

Eva's place is so charming and cozy - a very Swedish experience. 🥰 I have stayed here before and enjoyed it. I like the calm, peaceful surroundings while also being within a short walk to the train, where you can easily go to a large indoor shopping mall and get just about anything you might need - groceries, clothing, dining, haircuts, massage, etc! The bed is really comfortable, as long as you don't mind going up and down a ladder to the loft. I highly recommend this place if you prefer to stay near nature and peace and quiet.

We had a really relaxing week. The property is located on a very private lake. My friend was able to fish every day with the boat located on site. It wasn't too far to Stockholm by bike. The place is very lovingly decorated. The highlight was the sauna followed by cooling off in the lake.
