Schwarz is just a stone's throw from the Saale Cycle Path and a few kilometers from the Elbe Cycle Path. If you close the courtyard gate, you leave everyday life behind in the courtyard under grapevines. Or you can start from here to the highlights of the region: Dessau, Quedlinburg, Harz, Magdeburg – but maybe just the next lake. Perfect for cyclists, families or to write your book in peace.

The house is located on the Saale island of Gottesgnaden. Here the lock keeper lived and worked with his family. Today you can relax here on the 7x4 m terrace, make yourself comfortable in the great kitchen with fireplace, enjoy the river landscape, fishing, standup paddling or chill in the approx. 1000 sqm garden. The house is a single monument and belongs to the lock. The lock is in operation and is maintained and serviced by the Water and Shipping Authority.

Away from the hustle and bustle, you will find your private realm in a quiet environment. You can work or relax in peace, walk, bike, meditate. A lake is 10 minutes away. The center of Magdeburg can be reached in about 20-25 minutes. The nearest shops are in Gommern (4 kilometers).

Experience the tranquility of a historic farm in the small village of Lübs, right on the most beautiful bike path in Germany. After a loving renovation, the stable and barn have been transformed into small holiday apartments. Special handmade wooden furniture shows my connection to nature and my love for the forest. Here you can relax perfectly or plan your trip by bike, train (station in the village) or car.

Take the whole family to this great home with room for fun and entertainment. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor (in the attic), there is no elevator. Books, cards and board games are available. Guests are welcome to use the garden and barbecue. We can also provide bicycles for rent to explore the Aller-Elbe cycle path. Two quarries in the directly adjacent landscape park invite you to fish and swim.
