Once over the train station bridge and you are in the old town of Lucca, with all its beauties, its flair, but also with its tourist character. Then you can look forward to the tranquility and seclusion of the accommodation. Another advantage is the parking if you arrive by car. The place is charming and spacious for two people. The high ceilings and room layout are really so well done that you can feel right at home. The bed was comfortable and a small study is also provided. Theoretically, you can even sit outside, but you prefer to do that in Lucca in one of the beautiful places. Communication with the landlords was always very pleasant and fast. You can definitely trust the restaurant tip from the Da Vasco handbook. We would book here again immediately for our next visit to Lucca. Lucca is always worth a trip.

My husband and I, plus our French Bulldog, had the pleasure of staying here for just over 3 weeks. Immediately felt like home, and host family had everything to do with that! Highly recommend. stunning views, fabulous location and some of the most gracious people I've ever met.

We had a great week with Giovanna and Antonio. They are both very nice, helpful and always available for questions. The house is exactly as in the pictures, very cozy and we felt comfortable right away. The shared garden is beautiful and the pool is great for cooling off on a hot day. Lucca is about 10 minutes away by car and Pisa and Florence are also easy to reach. We 100% recommend the place. Thanks for the great time :-)

The Robins nest felt like a home away from home. Stefano welcomed us as family. The place was very spacious for Lucca with parking at the front. We will be visiting again when we come back to visit family!

Giovanni and his family were really hospitable people! They welcomed me with a freshly baked apple cake, gifted me eggs and were always responsive. The view is amazing. It‘s very peaceful up in the hils. I would defenetly recommend this place!

Everything was as expected and better. Lovely home with air conditioning downstairs and in both upstairs bedrooms. Beautiful garden in the back and shared swimming pool very close by.

Riccardo and Chiara's place was perfect! Everything very stylishly renovated by Riccardo himself and beautifully furnished. The location is in the middle of the city and yet quiet. Bars, restaurants, a promenade and shops are within walking distance. Despite the heat, the apartment was pleasantly cool. We were able to park right outside the door. 2 nights were far too short!

Galia was really nice and had good recommendations for visiting Lucca. The flat is exactly as described and has everything that is needed. The city is within walking distance. We had a great stay.

The two of us had a wonderful time at Guiseppe's. He responded quickly to all messages and helped. He was waiting for us on arrival and explained everything worth knowing. We had an amazing time staying at Gabriella’s place! It was beautiful and spacious. Very comfortable. A great spot to stay while exploring Lucca. Easy to get to from the train station. Just perfect!

We had a great time . Anita is a very attentive host, the accommodation is located in a beautiful green park in a quiet area with a swimming pool available, a real plus. Daniel‘s apartment was recently renovated and very centrally located to the old city of Luca it was an easy walk to parking and an easy entrance onto the wall to walk around the city of the highlight of our visit .

Sabrina's place was easy to find and in a very good location within the walls. Sabrina had provided clear instructions for gaining access to the property. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for my stay. There were some really thoughtful touches such as milk, water, fresh fruit, breakfast toast, jams, tea and coffee which helped me greatly considering I arrived in the evening and so it meant I did not have to dash out to a supermarket before it closed for the night. So helpful. I reached out to Sabrina a couple of times before I arrived as I needed some restaurant recommendations plus I had a query re the buses. Sabrina responded very quickly with answers. She also checked in on me during my stay to see that everything was ok. I could not fault anything and I highly recommend staying at Sabrina's apartment.

Jacopo's place was beautiful with lots of gorgeous things on display on the shelves. The kitchen was well equipped, (I even had a tea pot for my loose leaf tea) the bed was large and comfy and although the shower room was small, it was fine for us. Very stylish apartment that was very quiet for its location right on Piazza San Romana opposite the old deconsecrated church which now holds performances. Jacopo left us the card for recycling and some water and coffee when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again, as it's the perfect place for summer, but perhaps less in winter as it suffers from damp. Lucca itself is also gorgeous and the flowers were blooming everywhere, so it smelled amazing!

Perfectly placed apartment to enjoy Lucca. Accommodation was just like the pictures and was very clean. A very characterful place with many charming features. Greta was very flexible with check out and her communication was excellent. Thank you.

Elena’s apartment was even better than the photos! Even the teenagers were impressed! The location could not be better. We could walk to everything. We had such a great stay in Lucca and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful experience! The house was tastefully furnished and clean, well-stocked with guides and tourist maps of Lucca. It was also equipped with everything you need for your stay: dishes, pans, kitchen utensils, etc. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the Basilica of San Frediano and Via Fillungo, Lucca's main shopping street. But what excited us was the hospitality of the host. Pier Giordano was very kind and helpful; passionate about his city, he recommended places of interest that are also little known by most and typical places to eat Lucchese and Tuscan cuisine. Thanks again! We hope to return to Lucca soon!

Paola's place is in a great location and incredibly well appointed for a lovely and comfortable stay in any season. She has thought of every detail for her guests' comfort. Our family of four felt so at home here and found everything we needed. Paola's a great communicator, and I'm so glad we made time to visit her family winery during our stay. Her son, Francesco, provided a wonderful and intimate experience and even made it interesting for our teen daughters who joined for lunch. One of our favorite experiences on our trip to Italy!
