Gioviano is a small quiet medieval village 25 kms from the walled city of Lucca in the Garfagnana. The house is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan village, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. We are 50 minutes from Pisa airport on the SS12 route. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or car.

The house is fully air conditioned with split in both bedrooms and in the kitchen. The house is a rustic stone and wood building in the Apuan Alps park, an ideal place for those who want to hike in the woods and explore the attractions of Versilia and Tuscany, between the sea and the mountains. The house consists of a full kitchen with gas stove, wi-fi, sofa bed and for heating for the winter season it has a wood stove and preset heat pumps, a bedroom with full bathroom with shower, a wooden mezzanine with a single bed.

The Hut – Stone House

La Capanna is an 18th-century stone structure renovated and furnished entirely by the owner, a skilled carpenter who produced all the furniture inside the house. The property represents the beauty of ancient Tuscan ruins, enriched with antique agricultural tools and fully restored furniture. La Capanna is a 15-minute walk from the historic center of Lucca, 500 meters from the highway exit, 5 minutes from the Polo Fiere.
