Cabin holiday rentals in Locarno District

It was just right for a little getaway. I was able to refuel super; the surroundings and the house were a dream. I felt very comfortable right away. Andy was always very helpful and hospitable, thank you for everything. I can highly recommend the place. I'd love to come back - next time with my family.

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!

very cozy and nice stay!

The cottage is beautifully located. 10 minutes by car up the mountain from Brissago. View over the lake is great and large garden and nice terrace. We were there for Christmas and the living area can only be heated with the fireplace. On cold days, you are burning a lot of wood that you have to buy yourself. It's cozy! There are electric heaters on the bedrooms, but we hardly used them, we like to have bedrooms cool. Plenty to do from the location; beautiful hikes nearby, winter sports 1 hour to 1.5 hour drive in e.g. Carì, Andermatt or Bosco / Gurin. We had a wonderful week with lots of sun!

Excellent week in this beautiful little rustic hideaway, living without electricity and living with candles was a wonderful experience for me and my wife. The instructions to access the accommodation were clear and accurate, and this place... what to say , the silence , the view , was just perfect, and I assure you that the weather is warm and sunny or cold and rainy the charm of this refuge and the setting remains beautiful. i highly recommend for a total disconnection of the screens and a reconnection with nature and even. It was a dreamlike experience - truly a place I could only dream about. Absolutely private, silent, and secluded - we spent New Year's Eve there and didn’t see a single person around. The views, the silence, the mountains - everything was perfect. The hosts, Joe and Kya, were amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and responsive. They even helped carry our belongings up the mountain before check-in and back to the car on the morning of January 1st (!). Such kind people! I cannot fail to mention the heartwarming welcome pack with food, sweets, wine, and even treats for our dog, which made us feel so welcome. Even though we visited early in the season, we had so much fun sledding, hiking (with our dog everywhere), relaxing in the cozy house, and enjoying the sauna - followed by jumping into the snow afterward. So you have a lot to do :) Highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the hustle and truly enjoy the mountains!

Eveline’s place is an absolute gem – beautifully remote, surrounded by pure nature, and offering stunning views. The house itself is super comfy and well-equipped, making it the perfect spot to unwind and fully immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings. Just pack light for the climb and enjoy every moment once you arrive. Highly recommended!

Good location , close to public transport, great with dog, everything was clean, and Giulio is very helpful and responds immediately👍🏻. In the kitchen, there could be a little more crockery and cutlery for 5 people😃.

We spent a very nice Easter weekend in Menzonio despite the rain. The cottage was really typical of the region and with a small wood fire in the kitchen/living area you felt really comfortable in the beautiful Maggia Valley. You can also make really nice hikes directly from the house.

The accommodation is located in a wonderful forest clearing, quiet and beautiful. In the Rustico, everything is new and beautifully built! The only disadvantage of the building: the basement was really very damp, so that the bed was damp in the evening when going to bed despite repeated ventilation during the day. Cool Plus was the tub to bathe outside.

We really enjoyed staying at the charming Rustico. Especially with our young dog, it was perfect with the garden. We'll be back. 😊

Spectacular location and space! Roberta was a top notch host and was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. The house is located in the perfect setting as very easy to get around by bus as well as centrally located to the BoBosco trail system. The house has everything and more that you would need for a night or a week! My suggestions to future travelers would be to grab your groceries in Tenero before coming up the Valley as the local store, while really wonderful, was not very big. It was a fantastic week in Centovalli! The house is located in a small village surrounded by nature with fantastic views. We felt very comfortable. And would definitely come again. Very nice surroundings for cycling, hiking and for excursions to Italy or to Lake Maggiore. Great restaurants in the surrounding areas. Accommodation has everything you need. Good contact with the owners. An all-round successful week. It won't be the last time

The House is located in the small village Sobrio, up in the mountains. The location is great for the views, unfortunatelly because of the weather we could enjoy them only a little. But even though we had a lovely stay, really peaceful and restful. The House is really good equiped - you’ll find everything you need. It is nice that you can make a barbecue outside. And last but not least - Sara was an awesome hostess. Always nice and ready to help, replied quickly and was proactive ☺️
