We had a great stay! The check-in was super easy and straightforward, which allowed us to have a stress-free start. The apartment was very clean and well maintained – you immediately felt comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the location: in just a few steps, you are directly on the promenade. A big plus was also the parking lot right next to the apartment. Communication with the hosts was quick and friendly. We would come back anytime!

We were able to enjoy our stay very much. Everything was available and the way to the lake and the centre was short and with little traffic. The bus stop almost in front of the house was also pleasant. Many possibilities, also with public transport, to explore the surroundings. Top!!!

Edvige is an excellent host. He left us fruit and something in the fridge to eat as we arrived on a holiday. It should be noted that there were no blinds in the room and the curtains were not very opaque, so the light came in early. Apart from that, the apartment was very good and the views from the terrace were impressive

We had a wonderful stay at Carmen's place. The room was great and had everything you needed - even tips for hiking and eating. If you have any questions, Carmen is quick and super helpful. And because that wasn't enough, there was also an idyllic pool and plenty of help and support for inquiries or special requests. We certainly won't be the last time we come here and thank Carmen for her great hospitality!

This was a 10 star experience! We absolutely loved our stay in Luciano and Katia’s house. It was perfect. The train is conveniently located within minutes of the house. Though it was near, you could not hear the train. It was quiet. The location is beautiful, in a valley between the Swiss Alps on one side and the Italian Alps on the other. We loved riding bicycles along the small farms nearby. Luciano is the friendliest host we’ve ever met, always eager to enhance our stay. He showed us the gorgeous scenery in different areas nearby. This house is the most well equipped we’ve stayed in with Airbnb. They generously supplied coffee, breakfast cereals, fruit, milk, juice, spices, cooking oil, and more. We would highly recommend this house and we would definitely return when we come back to Switzerland. Thank you Luciano and Katia! We had a wonderful week.

Nicola is not only an outstanding host but a great human being, someone you will enjoy having a chat with. He made me feel at home taking care of the smallest details. The bed was super comfy. The flat was spacious including a beautiful balcony. The shower was powerful and hot. Everything was spotless! Last but not least I could hear the silence at night in that place, yet only a short walk from the beautiful centre of Ascona where you can find everything you wish for. A great stay and fantastic value for money! I hope to be back soon!

The accommodation is in a quiet neighborhood and is conveniently located to visit the area by car, and Esther welcomed us very well. The bed was comfortable and there were all the useful utensils. Limited street parking was not a problem. It should be noted that there is no physical separation between the bathroom (with toilets) and the living room, but we accommodated ourselves. The lack of a kitchen sink didn't bother us too much for two days, but we would have preferred it instead of the washing machine and dishwasher.

We felt very comfortable in Matina's apartment. The location is perfect for walks and swimming in the Maggia or Melazza - which our dog also liked. We'd be happy to come back!

Fantastic apartment, view, swimming pool and communication throughout. We really enjoyed our stay. Jonathan was very kind and allowed us to check out late so the kids could have a swim before we headed home!

The accommodation is so great, quiet and undisturbed as a corner apartment with a great terrace and small lawn. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped. Rebecca was always quick to reach and the welcome package with a few groceries was very thoughtful and friendly of her. It was an extremely relaxing holiday with baby and we highly recommend the accommodation.

Wonderful stay in the beautiful apartment of Raffaello and Patricia. The location is simply fantastic right on the lake with incredible views, the apartment nicely decorated with everything you need. The welcome was very friendly, Raffaello showed us everything and gave us many helpful tips. The apartment was absolutely clean and well maintained, we felt very comfortable. We will be happy to come back.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this lovely apartment! It was me, my wife, and our 3-year-old daughter, and the place was absolutely perfect for our little family. The apartment was clean, cozy, and very well equipped, with a beautiful garden that our daughter loved playing in. The location was ideal — peaceful and relaxing, yet very convenient. We were close to grocery stores, a pharmacy, a bakery and just a short walk to the lake and short drive to the stunning valleys, which made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. Our hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always available if we needed anything, and they made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming stay in a great location. We’d love to come back again someday!

We had a great stay at Patrizia's accommodation, where we were able to enjoy the pool (parasols and sun loungers available in the residence). The accommodation, easily accessible by car and public transport, is located in a quiet residence, close to the lakefront and many restaurants (15-minute walk). There is no shortage of activities in Ascona! Patrizia's little nest is aptly named. Although it is not particularly large, it is still comfortable and well equipped; perfect for spending a few days there! Finally, we cannot be complete without talking about the host, Patrizia, very welcoming and caring. Responsive, she remains available when needed. Thanks to their attention to detail, you will have everything you need for a good stay. If we had to summarise: great accommodation, great hotel, we can only recommend Patrizia's little nest!

Nice and specious, very homey, the view and the main seating area is second to none, the terras view is great too, in the down side the apt lacks AC, proper ventilation.

perfect place, perfect host

Perfect Airbnb for couples. Neatly organized and cleaned. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Location is 10min from the lake and 2mins from a busstop, which brings you to the city in no time. Great experience overall, including the highlight of the sauna. Easy to handle and Airbnb has everything you need. Just be aware the kitchen is limited, and yet stocked enough for cooking delicious meals. Also, there is expensive parking close by. Little secret: There is a parking lot in Minusio (Remorino) for ~6.- per day, accessible by bus directly from the Airbnb ;)

With an absolutely stunning view over the lake, Christoph's place was a fantastic retreat for a peaceful long weekend. While some of the furnishings were a bit more well-worn that was apparent in the pictures, it also had a more organic feeling, giving the impression of a space that had been set up with care. The location was ideal, with easy (if a bit infrequent) bus connections to Locarno and Ascona as well as plenty of hiking possibilities. Christoph was very friendly and even offered to meet me at the bus stop on my way in to give me a ride down to the apartment with my bag. I would not hesitate to come back!

The place was great! We traveled a family with four kids and it was just wonderful, clean, inviting, there was nothing missing and we got along great. The pool, small playground and mini golf of the hotel were really fun. Highly recommend the place.

The apartment was homey, very clean and well equipped. The kitchen, in particular, offers many possibilities. The outdoor area is very well maintained and the view is breathtaking. Due to the fact that the apartment is located on a slope, the walk to the village is of course a bit exhausting, but still quite doable. Monika was quick to reach and always warm and helpful.

You feel comfortable immediately, the beds were comfortable and the apartment very clean. The location is very quiet and the view was enchanting, especially the morning sun on the lake. Would book this Airbnb again in a heartbeat!
