Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Leith

Nicky was amazing in communicating, especially during such an uncertain time, and really kind in leaving us with tea, milk, showering products, games, and lots of useful information for the area. As we were visiting a friend in Leith, the location was perfect - but also really easy to get into the centre of Edinburgh, or a 40 minute walk or so to Portobello beach. Her daughter checked us in and was very kind and helpful. The flat itself is lovely, a really spacious living room area, comfortable bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine. Would definitely recommend, and if we return to Leith would love to come back here again!

We had a great stay at Davids apartment. David and Francesca are very nice hosts. We did not meet them in person, but they were very kind and quickly responding to our messages. We would definitely recommend this apartment! It is situated close to the sea and St. Andrews and Edinburgh are close-by by car.

Lucy is a lovely warm welcoming host, always up for a chat. We were able to use the kitchen for making breakfast and sit in the garden, wich was a lovely way to start the day. The cat an dog are very friendly an cute. The area of the house is lovely, green and very quiet, but you are a simple (&cheap) bus ride away from busy areas with lots to discover. Free parking is also a plus. Would definitely recommend!!

It was a lovely short stay. It felt welcoming and friendly.

Nice place and well equipped. Not much around in terms of coffees and pubs. Well communicated by bus with the city center, 30 minutes ride approximately with a bus stop very close to the location. Nice walks specially to Cramond and Leith. Supermarket at 5 minutes walk. In general a good value place, well equipped but a bit far from the town center. Friendly and helpful host

Ben was a wonderful and friendly host! He even left out some bread to share in the kitchen. :) The room was perfect for a short stay and had all the amenities you would need. The ladder up to the bunk bed was a little squeaky and steep, but still manageable. A very charming, quaint apartment. Would stay here again!

Victor and his girlfriend Rita (and their cat Isla!) truly are amazing hosts and very pleasant people to have around. During my stay with them, they were friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. Any time I had a minor issue---e.g., my adapters weren't working---they promptly found a solution. The flat is comfortable and clean, the location is well connected and safe. Very recommended :)

Mark is a friendly, good-humored host. We communicated effectively before my check-in so that he was home to greet me and show me the amenities, which are all the ones listed on this app. What I liked the most was the bedroom, which had clean bed sheets and a comfortable bed. I had a good night’s sleep every night, as the area is quiet and so is Mark, even as he leaves to work pretty early. Secondly, but just as important, I appreciated that the bus stop is right outside: buses to the city centre stop there very frequently. I wanted a place to come back to easily after a day of visiting the touristy places but also connecting with the beautiful nature in Edinburgh. Overall, I think Mark’s place was the right one for me.

First time in Scotland and Lisa was a great host. Her home offered a great opportunity to experience the neighborhood. A great market was near by and the location was close to town center. Fantastic trip, thank you!!

It’s absolutely a wonderful stay there with Karen and Buddy ! The house close to the beach 🏖️ you can must walk 2 minutes to enjoy the sunset 🌅 and it’s also 5minutes only to the bus stop which leads to central town and railway station , everything is very convenient and friendly to visitors. I’ll come again !

Wonderful place with a friendly host. I stayed in the Loft Room - there's also another Guest Room available but I can't comment on that. The Loft contains a double bed with bedside tables, wireless internet, a desk, a TV corner with comfy chair facing it, various clothes storage, a mini fridge/freezer with kettle area on top, a stereo, a full-length mirror, and not forgetting the ensuite shower room / wet room (containing shower, toilet and sink). Restricted headroom in some places, but I'm 5'9" so I was mostly fine. Bed was comfy, shower was lovely in terms of both temperature and pressure. There's so much in this space I'm sure I've forgotten bits. Free onstreet parking. Ishbel provided tea/coffee/hot chocolate, milk for the mini fridge, and even some shortbread. There were lovely extras touches (hot water bottle and so on). Great views from the many Velux loft windows, very light and airy room. Overall, amazing. Would definitely stay here again when I'm next in Kirkcaldy!

Lovely flat in Leith, Kate was very friendly and let us check in as soon as we arrived. Our stay was uncomplicated, good connection to town centre.

By far the best AirBnB i‘ve ever been to. Everything is exactly as described and Kate is an absolutely lovely host. Couldn’t wish for more!

Very nice couple with a young daughter and relatives visiting while we were there. Everyone treated us so kindly. We enjoyed conversations with them, and yummy Indian food! The room is pretty and organized. Room is on bottom floor, beside stairs, and in front of the house. The private restroom is across a small hallway. There’s full lower level access. We cooked, washed clothes, and used the fridge. The tram is about 10 minutes walk. Very easy to get into the city center. Also a multiple stores center 1 tram stop from house. The only negative I have is a personal one…fragrance smell in room and bedding. I’m very sensitive to smells. I had to remove the fragrance and put coffee grounds and onion out to absorb the smell. This probably would not affect anyone else, but it’s worth listing. We’ll be back in a week to stay 4 more days. Our first 5 days stay was A+.

I highly recommend staying at Emanuele's house. He and his girlfriend are incredibly welcoming, and Spark, always greeted me with the warmest welcome. My schedule was quite packed, so I didn’t have much time to spend with them, but whenever I needed advice, they were always enthusiastic and helpful. The house looks exactly like the photos, and the beautiful decorations for Christmas made it feel cozy. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit all the attractions.

Andy and Georgios were available and friendly throughout the stay. The location of the apartment is strategic for getting around the centre and to and from the airport. The apartment is large and clean, the residential neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The only flaw is the bed, which is a little creaky but comfortable for sleeping. Recommended!

My girlfriend and I stayed in Anastasia and Alberto’s lovely home in Edinburgh. They were both very friendly, great communicators and had excellent recommendations. Their cats, banshee and Ziggy, were super sweet and friendly. The location was right next to the park near Arthur’s seat, it’s about a 13 minute walk from the Palace at the start of the Royal Mile. The room was very clean and quiet. The bathroom is also very clean and it was for our use only, but it was outside the room, a few steps away. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home; we had an awesome time in Edinburgh.

Dorota was very helpful! I only spent a few hours on new year’s eve and left super early in the morning but I found the room very cosy and warm considering that there was a storm outside! The place was clean as well and the room is fairly spacious and comfortable!

Had a great stay at Nocolas' place. Accommodated our early checkin too. Great host. Definitely recommended and would stay again in future if we travel to Edinburgh again.

Mazen is a warm and gracious, helpful host. Everything is kept spic and span clean and the apartment is wonderfully located adjacent to a beautiful park and near an abundance of fabulous restaurants!
