“If this isn’t the best Airbnb of its kind then I cannot wait to stay in the one that is! Duck Lodge is beautiful, thoughtfully done, in a stunning location, filled with little extras, cosy, comfy and impeccably hosted. Keith was the perfect host: very attentive, welcoming and friendly. We got everything we needed and more. The lodge itself is comfortable, stylish and thoughtfully appointed. Never slept in a more comfortable Airbnb bed. Hot tub is a great addition, as are the sensational views and walks to go with it. 12/10 would stay again. A must if you want to stay in Brighton but fancy some tranquility while you do.”
Bohemian and full of character, Le Grande Roulotte does not compromise on comfort. Family bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. Kitchenette with induction hob, fridge and microwave. Full sized double bed and two single day beds. Outdoor area. All bedding and towels are included in the cost of your stay.
“I had a lovely stay at Paul's Roulotte. It was cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed. The heating was excellent, and there was plenty of hot water. Everything was impeccably clean. Parking is just outside the Roulotte, and the Hassocks station is within walking distance should you need it. I very much enjoyed my stay, and I will be back. There are miles and miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore in the area. It's perfect for a walking holiday.”
A unique, quirky vessel, the carapace comprises an upturned lifeboat hull mounting the back of a Dodge fire engine. The main bed, a boat within a boat within a boat. Moored on estuarine mudflats opposite Shoreham town and RSPBs' smallest reserve. There is an optional fifth bed. My apologies but I have just increased my cleaning fee to £30 to reflect the extra work involved due to COVID-19 and the sterling work done by our cleaners.
“Gorgeous houseboat, with so much space and lots to look that. The most interesting house I've ever stayed in. It was so warm when we got there, and fully stocked up with fire wood and bits in the kitchen. Nearby walks, and loads of pubs in town. Had a lovely evening here listening to the records that Hamish has in the boat, and reading about how the house boat was built.”
