We lovingly restored our old farmhouse in 2016. The indoor climate is pleasant because the whole house is equipped with wall heating and clay plaster. It is located in a small place with only a few houses and is particularly suitable for nature lovers and people looking for peace and quiet. Children will also get their money's worth. Telephone, satellite TV and Wi-Fi are available, making our accommodation also ideal for home office with family. The nearest shopping is 4 km away.

The in the inside renovated house is more than 100 yrs old and is located on our organic farm with a small farmer´s shop. Our home is located in franconia: known for its tasty cheap food, an amazing nature and our historically important and our beautiful city Bamberg. By all means of transport (car, bike, train) you can easily reach city and nature. The self-checkin gives you great flexibility. Everyone, no matter from which culture or country is more than welcome!

The apartment is located in a former Franconian farm, the Engelschanze, on the edge of the forest in the most beautiful area of Franconian Switzerland. In the Engelschanze there are 2 separate apartments, which can also be booked as a unit for 8-10 people. The large garden can be used by all guests. It stretches over the adjacent forest, where there is also a hammock for general use. Each apartment has its own terrace with a view.

Thus, it has succeeded in reviving the apartment into a unique place of relaxation and well-being and of friends. Here you can relax. Our modern furnished 80 sq. m apartment is located in the Upper Franconia gourmet region. Due to the favorable location, it is possible to reach not only the World Heritage city of Bamberg, but also many sights of the region by car or bike. The Obermain thermal baths, Vierzehnheiligen and Banz Monastery are a few minutes' drive away.
