Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lower Franconia

We stayed with six women in Josefine's blue house and had a very nice stay! Josefine is a great host, she has good tips and ideas and is very helpful. You can't ask for better. The accommodation is very clean, nicely renovated and lovingly furnished! We'd love to come back! Lisa with girlfriends

The house is super located in quiet forest surroundings. Hiking trails start right outside the door. The house is well furnished, everything is clean. Especially great is the fireplace, which creates a cozy atmosphere. You can wonderfully switch off and relax here. A trip to the local distillery as well as to Miltenberg is very worthwhile!

We loved our stay at Kathi’s beautiful home. There’s everything you need there and we were grateful for the extra consumables and special holiday touches. We were able to bring our extended family together from around the globe and we felt right at home for the holidays. We loved the walking trails and being surrounded by nature. It’s relaxing to spend time in the garden, even in the winter, and the stars at night are amazing. Nearest grocery shopping is 8 minutes away and the neighboring villages are picturesque. Kathi was also flexible, which was greatly appreciated! We’d love to return.

The house is created to feel comfortable and immediately enjoy nature. We were on site to our children. Both loved the garden right away and especially the playground next to the property. Selina has been very friendly and always available for questions. We can recommend the beautiful house, dear Selina and the village with full conviction.

The house was beautiful, cozy and very clean. There was everything we needed for a weekend (especially the kitchen is very well equipped) and communication with Stefanie was easy! The house is very nice, but you need cars to get around. We definitely recommend the place!

We were in the apartment with 6 adults from Friday to Tuesday. The apartment was well equipped. There was actually nothing missing. In addition, we had great weather and we explored the surroundings. Winter temperatures prevailed. We were therefore able to enjoy the heated fireplace. The landlords had already heated the apartment the day before our arrival. We felt so comfortable again.

A wonderful place to switch off and relax but also with enough opportunities in the area for excursions or hiking. The house offers everything you need and is modern but cozily furnished without frills. When the weather is nice, staying in the garden makes it complete.

We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time. Our son loved the garden with swing and sandbox, he was also able to discover a lot. For hikes, the cottage is a good starting point.

Astrid was an exceptional host—kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. During my stay, I experienced a medical emergency, and she went above and beyond to assist me, even accompanying me to the pharmacy since I don’t speak German. What truly touched me was how she checked in on me over the following days—a gesture that showed genuine care. Her home was absolutely lovely: beautifully kept, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether short or long-term. The stunning water views and nearby beer garden added to the charm. While the house was impeccably clean, it’s worth noting there’s no microwave (the oven works just fine!). For groceries, dm and Rewe are about 2km away, easily accessible by bus. Out of all the Airbnbs I’ve stayed in, this was by far my best experience. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer! I can’t recommend Astrid’s place enough—it’s truly special.

Dorothee was wonderful and her place was a delight to stay in. I had issues on the road and arrived late. She was more than accommodating and even helped me with dinner when she realized I wouldn't get any due to the late hour. I heavily enjoyed my time here in this peaceful residence. I only wish I stayed here longer. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Our stay at Katja's place was pleasant. The space was clean and well-maintained, with new utensils that made meal preparation a breeze. The surrounding area was quiet, providing a restful environment. The host was responsive and attentive, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. A particular highlight for our young kid were the toys provided. However, it’s worth noting that the apartment is situated on the top floor, requiring several flights of stairs. Overall, a suitable accommodation for a tranquil getaway.

We were welcomed super friendly and had a wonderful time. We especially enjoyed the stove. In Würzburg itself, you can also reach the door in just under 10 minutes by car and a bus stop is in front of the door. The property is highly recommended!

A dream in the countryside! We found the place really magical – spacious, cozy and lovingly furnished, with plenty of space on two floors. Particularly beautiful are the large kitchen-living room, the cozy corner bench with fireplace and the huge couch to feel comfortable. From the bed you can see the stars through the skylight or wake up to the sun in the morning (as long as you leave the shutters open). The bright bathroom with large, walk-in shower and skylights is also wonderful – showers with sun in the morning included. :) The garden is a huge plus – with an extra fenced area right on the terrace – very great if you arrive with a dog. The rural location, surrounded by vast meadows and fields, invites you to take long walks and offers ideal conditions for unwinding. We would like to emphasize the warm, helpful and flexible landlords - we would have loved to stay! Absolutely recommended!

Barbara's place was exactly what we were looking for. A quiet place in nature, perfect for unwinding. Plus a really nice house that has been designed with a lot of heart. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Germany. The location is absolutely picturesque, surrounded by stunning scenery. This is a lovely area to visit. Plenty of villages in the area and good train line 6km from the house. Lovely friendly welcome from Margarit who owns the apartment There was plenty of literature available, which was very well presented, for places to visit, which was a nice touch. Very nice house, tastefully decorated. Very good contact. We spent a family weekend there, even for the granddaughter there was a bed (with sleeping accommodation for the mother in the room). There was nothing missing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alexandra and Pit's beautiful home. The house is stylishly furnished and has all the comforts. The beds are lovely and linen and towels are of excellent quality. The kitchen is the heart of the house and we have served for hours with a view of a cozy crackling fireplace. The view of the hills and woods is beautiful and soothing. It really is a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and to relax. Alexandra and Pit are the perfect hostess and hostess. They are very friendly, happy to help you if you need anything and at the same time respect your privacy. In short: we warmly recommend this stay. If you want to pamper yourself with a luxury stay in a beautiful area, this is the house you have to book!

Very suitable for family reunions, we were there with several adults, infants and dogs. Well-equipped kitchen (a few dish towels would have been nice), various ways to relax. Very nice house, everything you need available. To be noted: No curtains in the rooms to darken, reading lamps on the beds only partially available . But that didn't cloud the stay.

We spent New Year's Eve in a group of four families and numerous children in the house of Susann and Sebastian. The villa is really well renovated and excellently suited for a cozy and private experience on the large Gleichberg. Communication with Susann was always very direct and friendly, we were even allowed to put a sauna in the driveway. We can really only recommend the villa of the two for group vacations! Always happy to come back.
