Stay in the old village schoolhouse

Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

Complete small house with garden, carefully designed for two people, built in 1911, renovated in 2015 with biological building materials (linseed oil, lime plaster, wood), modern functionality on the first floor, atmosphere to switch off and dream in the studio floor, Wi-Fi, Ultra HD TV, in one of the most beautiful residential areas of the Bergstraße, only about 100 meters from the edge of the forest and vineyards and yet convenient for excursions: Odenwald, World Heritage Monastery of Lorsch, castles and palaces, Rhine, Heidelberg

Speyer-Altstadt: Garden house for 1- 2 people

The quiet 33 sqm garden house is located in the garden of my residential building, and has a separate access/ entrance. The bed size is 140x200 cm, please note when booking for 2 people! At ground level is the living room with couch, mini kitchen and sitting area. The bed on the gallery is accessed via a comfortable ladder. The large bathroom is also a dressing room. I would be happy to give tips for doing things. Washing machine use for an additional fee. There are discounts for university students

Rülzheim is characterised above all by its central location in the middle of Karlsruhe, Landau and Speyer, as well as its proximity to Alsace, the Wine Route and the Palatinate Forest. Rülzheim itself has all the necessary shops, banks, doctors, cafés and restaurants. The local recreation area also features the Alla-Hopp facility and a beautiful swimming lake. An ideal starting point for many beautiful activities!

It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.
