The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

Enjoyed our stay here and had everything we needed. Great location for seeing different parts of Cornwall. Good to have the facilities on site especially the swimming pool which my boys loved.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Hewas Water House. The house was beautiful and catered for all of our needs for a group of 10 for a family members 70th birthday. The games room provided so much entertainment for all (from 2 to 70 years old) and the hot tub a much needed retreat by the time the kids went to sleep. Communication was great with anything we needed to get in touch for. Would definitely recommend

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

It was a wonderful venue and the villa was perfect. Hopefully, we will return for another fabulous holiday.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

We had a lovely staycation at Cross Cottage. It is all about the location and views which were amazing. The property was clean and functional with all you need. We didn’t spend a huge amount of time inside as the local area is just lovely. Locals are friendly and welcoming lovely place to visit.

We booked and stayed for 5 nights in February, Having stayed before we knew what to expect and how to get to the lovely cottage. Communication leading up to visit with Heather and Graham was excellent. The Cottage was ready for our stay and clean with everything you need to make a lovely stay, easy parking, it's within walking distance of 2 nice restaurants and Polkerris bay the cottage is ideally situated for visits to Fowey, Looe, Charleston and Mevagissy to name but a few. Hot tub and views are fantastic, great walking routes on the door step. Highly recommend a visit.

Amazing stay at the nest. The house is fabulous, very new and extremely well designed, both in layout and decor.. The house has quite an industrial feel about it, being on the site of the old foundry - I loved the black and white framed photos of the local areas (I located the shop and treated myself to one of Charlestown) . Super clean (I already gave Dan my compliments to his cleaner) very modern bathrooms and kitchen, with all amenities.. I think I counted 3 TV's, very comfortable bed, and WIFI seemed super fast. I am very picky about the places that I stay at, and this exceeded expectations. Dan was a brilliant host... he allowed my a slightly later check out and answered all of my questions within minutes. Also the fact he allowed my dog to stay was a plus point - always tough to find high quality places that allow your pets. Charlestown itself is lovely, plenty of choice with restaurants and pubs, and numerous little shops to while away your time.. thanks Dan 10/10

Lovely stay over New Year, the house was ideal for us, and we felt well hosted - thanks Claire!

We were three 55+ couples and the house accommodated us perfectly. The top floor was open and airy, with the most beautiful views off the balcony. From small sailboats to larger scientific-type vessels, there was always something interesting to see. The bedrooms and baths below were private and luxuriously appointed with very comfortable beds and comforters and large, fluffy bath towels. Even though we only made breakfast in the kitchen, it had all the equipment needed to make anything we wanted. We elected to eat dinners out and there were many excellent restaurants nearby. Luckily for us, the weather was sunny and clear the whole six days, and the location was great for exploring many points of interest. We highly recommend this property. Thanks!

We had an excellent stay at Sunkeeper. The house was amazing - very high quality with great amenities, and the photos don’t quite do it justice. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Communication from Ashley and Charlotte was clear and helpful throughout, and they were very understanding when we let them know about a minor accident with a wine glass. The local area is very scenic, and we had some great meals at the Inn On The Shore and the Beach House. Would highly recommend Sunkeeper to others looking for a high-end, relaxed and well-equipped place to stay.

The house was absolutely beautiful with everything we could possibly need. Even to the point that I ordered some of the toiletries and smelly stuff for at home. Beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay. The views were stunning. The house suited us perfectly for a short family stay in Polperro. Everything was walkable but having the parking space was really helpful for day trips.

We had a brilliant time saturating at Ihla View in a beautiful home. Joyce was very kind, helpful and quick to respond. the house is beautiful and exactly as described - you just need to be aware that there are a lot of stairs as the house is over three floors and the garden is all terraced too. I would highly recommend the local Island View cafe/ coffee shop, and we used several other recommendations that Joyce gave us too. A fantastic trip - thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Boconnion in Cornwall! Henny was a fabulous host, warm, responsive and incredibly accommodating. On arrival, we were greeted with fresh scones and cream, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. The property is immaculate, a hidden gem tucked away in beautiful surroundings. Everything was spotless, spacious and luxurious, yet still felt incredibly comfortable and homely. Every request we had was met with ease and efficiency, making our stay feel seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend Boconnion more highly and are already looking forward to returning.

The stay at Christina’s house Creekside Fowey was great all of us loved it adults and kids alike fabulous location with great views over the river and the hill side so idyllic and beautiful The house it’s self was amazing great layout and well maintained and very clean with everything you would need including a really good kitchen which my best friend AKA the chef made good uses of Christina was a wonderful host great communication and very responsive giving us lots of info and tips about the local area including putting me in touch with a local boat hire company which added an extra dimension to the stay having your own dock it made it very easy and fun to go up and down the river visiting different locations and just popping to the shops One other grate thing about the house was it’s being so close to so many great beaches and the Eden Project Would recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely stay there again 👍
