Sunnanäng Hilltop - cozy with amazing views

It's easy to feel at home here! The bed is freshly made with sheets when you arrive and clean towels are provided. This is a truly cosy 27 square metre cottage with a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen, as well as a 29 square metre veranda offering a magnificent view of Lake Siljan. The cabin is located on a private property (5,000 sqm) in the beautiful village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The village is located along Lake Siljan, 10 minutes to central Leksand and just as close to Tällberg. There are nice walking paths along Lake Siljan nearby, both summer and winter.

Welcome to our cozy cottage right by the water with sauna, fireplace and private jetty. Here you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, magical lake views and fishing right outside the door. In winter, you can swim in the ice water from the jetty, and if the weather permits, ski tracks are run up on the lake. The surroundings consist of berry and mushroom forests with beautiful walking trails. In summer, you can take a trip on the rowing boat or enjoy the evening sun on the terrace. The cottage is only 15 minutes from Falun and 45 minutes from Romme Alpin.

The house is located on one of the many cultural-historically valuable farms in the old town of Östanfors in Falun. 2 km to Lugnet (9 minutes by car). 50 meters to water with the possibility of swimming and next door is the cozy park Kålgården. There is a sandy beach (not official swimming area), large playground, beach volleyball court, barbecue area, tables, benches, mini golf, boule court, outdoor gym and large dog yard.

Only 200 meters to refreshing swimming in Sundbornsån. Summer time is possible to rent sup board. The village sauna by the river can be hired. Newly built in 2019. 150 m to Elljusspår, outdoor gym and the start of Vildmarksleden. 1 km to Dössberget's inn and the fairy tale trail. About 5-10 minutes by car to Bjursås Berg and Sjö. 1.5 km walk to the ski centre. 3 beds. (+2 sofa beds) Double bed, one single bed, plus two beds in a sofa bed (best suited for children). Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway with personal decor in Dala style. The cottage is located with amazing views of Siljan. On the property, the host couple lives in a house and there is a large garden that provides privacy. The accommodation includes toilet, shower, sauna, charcoal grill and outdoor furniture. There is a double bed in a separate bedroom and sofa bed with two beds in the living room. Cleaning is not included in the price and must be done before check-out.

Huset är placerat på den lugnare sidan av stadion, vilket gör att du undviker det värsta trafiken vid tävlingarna. På gården finns hästar och katter.

Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half-day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license SEK 50/day.
