Here is our beautifully located farmhouse on World Heritage land by Lake Vällan, about 4 km from the city center! The farmhouse has 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each room, kitchen, living room and toilet/shower. Experience accommodation in a house that breathes mining history from the 18th century. The house has a ground floor and a sleeping loft. A fully-equipped kitchen. A living room with TV. A WC room with shower/toilet. A loft with 2 bedrooms and a cozy room with TV and WiFi. Bed linen, sheets and towels can be rented if needed. Close to a lake with swimming in the summer.

Here, it feels like you're in the countryside, but still in town. You live in peace and quiet, without TV, by Lake Varpan with only 2.5 km to Lugnet's ski stadium and 3 km to Falun of Falun. You have 600 meters to the forest and Lugnet Nature Reserve. Swim in the lake from the jetty in the summer or take a dip in the ice hole in winter. Wood-fired sauna is available, bring your own wood if you want to use the sauna. In winter, if the weather and wind allow, there may be a plowed ice rink/walking path on the lake, and ski trails are usually prepared.

The accommodation is maximized for 2 adults, but there is also room for 2 small children. Kitchenette equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker. TV and Wi-Fi. Towels and bed linen are included. You will also have access to the laundry room located in the main building. We charge a cleaning fee of SEK 200 for bed linen, etc. However, we expect you to do a fine cleaning before you check out.

Bed linens and towels are included, you do not need to bring your own. Parking directly outside is included. You can store your skis or bikes in a locked space, if you wish. Approximately 800 meters to Lugnet's outdoor area with cross-country trails, bathhouses, bike paths and Dalarna University. 3-minute drive to the city center and grocery stores.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Stay in comfort in this newly renovated accommodation. There is a single bed (120/200 cm) and an extra bed (80/200 cm), as well as a Mio sofa bed (140/200 cm) (see photos). Two adults and two children can stay in this accommodation. This accommodation is close to Lugnet (10-minute walk), 20 minutes' walk to the hospital, 20 minutes' walk to the town centre, and 5 minutes' walk to the nearest grocery store. Free parking is available. Bed linen and towels are included.
