Cosy farmhouse near the forest and lake

We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building maintenance, environment and sustainability. The beautiful colours of egg oil tempera adorn the walls and genuine linseed oil paint is a matter of course in a house from the late 1800s. Nice tiled stoves heat nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious In winter, there are great conditions for cross-country and downhill skiing at Romme alpine. An approximately 8 km long skating rink is plowed on our lake with access approximately 100 metres from the farm. The house is located near the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

Sunnanäng Hilltop - cozy with amazing views

Here, it's easy to feel comfortable! The bed is freshly made with sheets when you arrive, and fresh towels are provided. This is a really cozy 27 sqm cottage with a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen, as well as a 29 sqm veranda with a magnificent view of Lake Siljan. The cottage is located on a private property (5,000 sqm) in the beautiful village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The village is located by Lake Siljan, 10 minutes to central Leksand and equally close to Tällberg. There are nice walking paths along Lake Siljan nearby, both in summer and winter.

The accommodation is a separate guest area in the house with its own entrance. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. In the bathroom, there is a toilet, shower and washing machine. A large balcony faces the lake, with seating under a pergola, and guests have their own access to the entire balcony. Possibility to borrow a rowboat and life jackets. Towels and sheets are not included, but are available to rent for SEK 150/set. Cleaning is not included in the accommodation.

The proximity to Tällberg provides a wide range of restaurants, spa and cultural experiences as well as hiking trails, skiing and ice skating. The nearest swimming area is at Tällbergs Camping or at Laknäs Ångbåtsbrygga. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 minutes away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half-day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license SEK 50/day.
