House holiday rentals in Emporia

We stayed as an extended family for a funeral. It happened to be a busy weekend in Lawrence and wound up being the perfect place.

While in Wichita this weekend we stayed at Meadowlark Creek. The homeowners were amazing. We selected this home for the size, location and pool, but were surprised with so much more. Tim and Ronda let our kids play with the puppies, gather eggs, pet the horse, and gave us all sorts of tidbits on the property. When our daughter and son-in-love decided to have a photo shoot out there the day after the wedding, the site was stunning and all the animals made guest appearances. Our kids got to see deer, bunnies, toads, wild turkeys, fireflies, and just be immersed in the beauty of nature. I would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to the Wichita area. It was absolutely lovely. I am so happy with my stay. A couple of cautions- the walk to the private entrance may be difficult for mobility impaired individuals and the wifi was spotty. Honestly nothing worth lowering the review tho! The pool was perfect, the sauna was lovely, and we made ourselves right at home ☺️

The house was exactly as described and well stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly kind and we felt welcome throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Great place in a nice upscale neighborhood. Very quiet. House was clean and has everything you need. Owner was very responsive and also respected my privacy. If you’re going to Emporia this is the place to stay.

Fabulous house, fabulous host, great location. Back yard/patio was very well laid out and wonderful for relaxing.

Beautiful home. Nicely decorated. I especially like the seahorses/ocean decor. The living room couch was beautiful. Had a great stay and rested well from a long drive and a family wedding. Highly recommend. Would stay again if I’m in the area. Best regards, Marianne

What a marvelous stay we had at the lovely Brickside Beds AirBnB! Christine spoiled us with sweet treats and provisions ample for a week when we were only staying two nights. She has exquisite taste and beautifully blends charming antiques with modern conveniences, soft beds, and warm family-friendly living room, dining room, and kitchen settings. Her fenced and cleverly landscaped backyard is a haven, and our dogs were thrilled to have a little bit of liberty while we stayed in her quiet, serene abode. Swinging on the front porch swing with glasses of wine in the early evening while listening to the sounds of the cheerful neighborhood was soul-quenching. And having ready access to the Flint Hills and the beautiful trails of the Tall Grass Prairie National Preserve made it the perfect place for a mini-vacation. We’ll be back!.

This home is a gem for an Airbnb stay. The beautiful woodwork on the main level showcases the craftsmanship of the era it was built. The modern kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and there were great areas for our group to just sit back and visit. We all loved our stay!

The house was perfect for our stay and very well stocked with kitchen items, plenty of towels, extra sheets, blankets, and two fans. It made our stay even more comfortable. The host was also a great communicator. We would definitely stay again!

Booked a last minute getaway to the flint hills and enjoyed our day and pleasant evening relaxing at this space. Clean and more than enough room for the 2 of us. Comfortable bed and temperature control for a nice relaxing rest. Enjoyed the fire pit and wandering around the riverside too!

Perfectly situated for our needs, Judy is an excellent owner who was happy to help in any way she could to make our stay as good as possible.

We rented Elaine’s lake house for our “hub” during Unbound. The house was perfect in every way. Beautiful location/ view, peaceful to relax, close enough to the Town of Council Grove for food choices and groceries. House was spotless and had everything we needed to survive the weekend! Highly recommend this location for a weekend getaway or a family vacation.

Darren's place was very pleasant for us. easy to get in, clearly instructions, place was clean no complaints at all. pleasant and quiet neighborhood. I do recommend this place.

Nothing better than a stay out in a lovely country town. Very clean and comfy, fresh eggs, fire pit and let’s not forget the fabulous porch with hungry hummers. Thanks for your hospitality and opening your whole home up for us.

We loved the bunkhouse it’s beautiful and full of history we enjoyed reading the books on the shelf about the area and loved the homemade bread and granola she left us along with farm fresh eggs! The kids loved all the animals and playing outside too! Great place we’ll definitely be back anytime we’re heading through the area!

Amazing experience! Loved seeing the elk and being so close to them for the whole stay! Chores with Mike was worth the stay all on its own! Highly recommended!

We stayed at Ranell’s barndominium as a group of 5 traveling for Unbound Gravel in Emporia. The home was clean and cozy and having access to the garage was an extra bonus for building and working on our bicycles before the race. There was a storm on our first night and the WiFi went out. Ranell was immediately responsive and provided instructions to get it working right away. The home is very remote and quiet but super close to the highway making it easy to get food, gas, and entertainment within as little at 10 minutes. I highly recommend staying at this Airbnb!

What a spectacular home on the prairie filled with wonderful art. Beautiful views on all sides from amazing widows. The house is decorated so lovely and makes you feel invited. Sitting on the porch at night looking at the amazing dark sky is worth the trip alone. Go visit the amazing flint hills in this great home.

We enjoyed our stay! Nice little cabin by a small community lake. Clean and comfortable accommodations with a lot of nice small touches!

We stayed at Eric's place for my dad's 90th birthday. Great location near his home. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and room for some horseshoes and archery. Enjoyed the BBQ and fire pit. Master and second bedrooms were great for two couples. The third bedroom had bunk beds and a kids bed, which worked ok for an adult but not ideal. Would be awesome if you have kids. We ended up sleeping 5 adults and dad went home for the night. Eric nicely left worms for fishing and even a treat for dad. :-) He was very responsive and helpful during the stay. Great stay, great host.

Very quiet place. Screened in porch offered a great place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Wife enjoyed all the different birds. She already had an app on her phone and heard some birds she never had show up previously. Mark was a fantastic host. He even came in from the lake to check out something for us. Super clean and well thought out. We really enjoyed our stay.
