We had a great stay. The location to everything downtown is an easy quick walk. The house is a beautiful historic home that you can tell is taken great care of. We enjoyed our time and the best part was the game closet. My son had us playing hours of monopoly and exploding kittens together. We really enjoyed the time we spent in the house together as a family playing games and sitting on the front porch in the mornings having coffee. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

From the flowers to the sunset, to the fact that a car never drove past the house. Privacy is definitely the best part for us. I loved how everything was so well kept and meticulously organized. You can tell how much care has went into this air bnb. New favorite place. We just thought we lived in the country, but nichelles place is definitely what I consider country. Lovely large charming, cozy, quiet home full of character and charm. After settling in, it quickly felt like home. Lots of thought went into it and it's much appreciated! Even though it's on an awesome old brick road, situated on a corner lot, near the railroad, and lots of dogs live next door, we barely heard a peep out of anything or anyone. Shower was good. Large beds were memory foam but tolerable. Home was clean. Ample space & amenities in kitchen. The floors creaked loudly quite a bit but once you get used to it, it adds a bit of charm to the old house. Close to gas stations, Walmart, and highway too. Overall great place!

I stayed in Elinor’s apartment for three months. She made it my home away from home! She was super responsive with any issue. The apartment was clean and well kept. She offers extra amenities most places don’t. I would highly recommend staying here!

This was the perfect little getaway for the night for my daughter and I. It was so cozy and quiet and we had a blast playing all the available games. We both felt asleep watching movies on the giant couch it was so comfortable. Our hosts were very responsive and greeted us when we arrived and assured to reach out if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

Young was one of the best parts of our stay! The house itself was gorgeous, it was clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. There was plenty of amenities, including towels/soaps, kitchen supplies, board games, books, and more. She even provided candies for us! We had 6 people during our stay, and we were cable to accommodate everyone. While the house was very nice, by far our favorite part of the weekend was getting to know Young and her husband! They were both so nice and greeted us with a smile whenever we saw them. She even gave us a bottle of Champagne, and brought us oranges in the morning. She was happy to help us however possible! I would recommend this place to everybody, clean house, perfect location (walkable to Aggieville and campus), and wonderful host! We can’t wait to come back and visit!

There are really good hosts and there are great hosts. Megan is off the charts. She’s very kind, caring, and has a beautiful and squeaky clean place. We would definitely return. We loved our stay and wished we had a bit more time in Topeka. It’s a great place to visit and catch some beautifully historic sites, among other things. Thank you, Megan!

Julie's place was very clean and located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The instructions posted around the house were very helpful, and I like that she keeps costs low by ensuring guests keep the space nice. She was very responsive and made sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. This was a nice place for a quick stay in Lawrence!

Great place for a weekend stay in Manhattan. Check-in was simple. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was an easy walk to the football stadium (just over a mile) and was an easy drive to everything else in town. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it.

This is a really nice place, above a commercial space in a quiet, mostly residential, neighborhood. Nicely designed, modern/up to date; and the furnishings, linens, etc also were very nice. Wish our schedule had allowed us to stay for more than one night.

This is one of the best AirBnBs that I've stayed in. I wish I could've stayed longer! The apartment was super comfortable & quiet. I could tell that every piece of furniture & decor was carefully selected for the aesthetics of the place & for a 1 bed/1bath it seems incredibly spacious. All the amenities were as described. TVs were easy to use with all the streaming services anyone could need. Wifi was fast and reliable. Neighborhood was quiet & felt secure. I'm a night shift worker, so I greatly appreciated the black out shades in the bedroom; some gets through along the sides, but it was still dark enough to allow me to sleep during the day. Kitchen was well appointed with high quality brand name items for cooking, coffee, etc. Towels and linens were spotless with plenty of both provided. If I find myself in Topeka again in the future for an extended stay, I'll definitely be checking to see if the Prairie Condo is available before looking anywhere else.

This is great place to stay for KU parents!! Campus is super close and everything is within a 5 minute drive or a short walk. Would definitely stay again!

This house is simply fantastic! If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. The comfort and luxury inside make you fall in love with it from the moment you arrive. The balcony is amazing, offering both great comfort and beautiful views. We traveled to Kansas to visit our son who is studying there, and I feel we were incredibly lucky to find and book this home. The location couldn’t be better — everything you need is just a short walk away. The house is full of luxurious touches and little surprises that make it stand out. I especially loved that on Saturday morning, local producers gathered in the parking area to sell their products — a lovely detail that really gave us a taste of the local culture. Finally, the host, Omar, is one of the kindest and most discreet people I’ve ever met. Don’t think twice — just book it!

This place was really cool! The garage door opening up in the living room was even better than the pics show. Clean and easy to access. Terrace with hot tub, grill and fireplace was an extra bonus. This place is well worth the price. Cheaper than a hotel would have been for us and much nicer, private accommodations with a great view of the night life. Definitely recommend Jessie’s Place!!!
