Holiday rentals with breakfast in East Sussex

I had an amazing stay at this property! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was super comfortable, and all the amenities I needed were provided. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful—check-in was smooth, The location was perfect, close to everything but still peaceful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Lovely little character Victorian terraced house, a short walk from the centre of Tunbridge Wells. Jen's communication was excellent and we really appreciated her flexibility regarding cehck-in. The sitting room was extremely cosy with the log burner alight, and the separate dining room with a good solid table was a bonus. The kitchen is compact but well-equipped and had everything we needed to cook an Easter roast! Both bedrooms are a good size for a cottage with comfortable beds and high quality bed-linen. Diets was a very friendly and helpful host. The BnB was exactly as shown in the pictures, if not better and was very homely.

A great location in camber for the fantastic beach and local amenities. Only a short drive to the historic town of Rye. A great little bar below our accommodation, run by a fantastic and friendly team of people.

This is a lovely spacious house in a great location for the coast. 2 living rooms make it good for groups or extended family gatherings. Kitchen is well equipped and the garden is a lovely extra space in good weather. Jill and Ben are friendly responsive hosts and gave helpful advice on the locality. We loved swimming and meal at Saltdean Lido and coastal walks from South Hill Barn.

This is a very nice cute old cottage. If you expect that, and not Four Seasons - you'll love it. It's very livable and enjoyable. The fireplace that Sara prepared for us was such a nice touch. Sara's communication has been superb - I'm sure we'll come back to her place!

A few words aren’t enough! Helen and Kevin’s place lived beyond our expectations. With beautiful surroundings on our doorstep; forests, beaches and beautiful woodland! Nothing was too much for our hosts who went above and beyond. We will definitely be back and there was so much more to explore. Perfect getaway not far from London; we didn’t want to come home! I need to note the bedroom is blissful, the bed was super comfortable with extra pillows and blankets if needed. Also, Kevin’s bread 🍞 was *chefs kiss* Thank you again. We hope to see you again soon! I am writing this review on behalf of my aunt and uncle who stayed in Alex's bnb when I was getting married last weekend. They were delighted with the accommodation, it was lovely clean and cozy and filled with treats! Alex herself was so friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond for them during their stay. They wanted me to send their big thanks for making this exciting weekend extra special! I also wanted to say that Alex was really great with communication and directions provided perfect details of where to go and always made herself available. Very spacious apartment. Very clean. Great location. Quiet. Hosts Paula and Simon were welcoming and lovely. Jessica the cat was also a pleasure for the girls. Overall a very comfortable stay.

This is our third time staying. Place was clean and welcoming. Hosts are responsive and very kind in dealing with our messages as we had to shorten stay. Will definitely stay again.

Marsha was a fantastic host and very helpful. Design House added extra excitement to our trip and the location was perfect for a weekend by the coast. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, Marsha kindly left out a beach BBQ and a dog bed, plus additional mattresses for our children. We loved the fun interior and many quirks, highly recommended for a fun filled trip with friends or family.

Fantastic location so close to the beach and pier. A really cosy and interesting flat which was lovely to come back to after a day exploring Brighton. We parked on Madeira Drive for the weekend which wasn’t very expensive and was close by. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely weekend. Thank you very much. The lodge had a real home from home feel and we were very comfortable. The view was amazing just like the photograph and we enjoyed the village. We went walking in the Ashdown Forest, we cycled the forest way path which is the old railway line and we clocked up 35km it was a beautiful ride. The highlight was Pooh sticks off Pooh bridge which brought us back to our childhood. We will certainly be back. Thank you once again.

From the moment I stepped into the house and met the host Jane, everything felt warm and welcoming. Jane is an incredibly nice and kind person. She proactively ask if I needed any help and kindly introduced places to visit nearby. She even invited me to attend her friend’s birthday dinner. Every morning, she thoughtfully prepared a healthy breakfast, including fruit salad, toast, coffee and more. Location: It was very easy to find the house by following the map from the train station. The room is located in a small alley just off the main street in the heart of Lewes, surrounded by lots of great restaurants and cafés. The weekend farmer’s market is just a one-minute walk away. I saw someone asking whether the house is warm enough — don’t worry. It can be chilly in Lewes during spring, but Jane keeps the heating on all the time. If you still feel cold, there's also a portable heater available. I didn’t need to use it, because it was already warm enough. I really loved staying here.

We really enjoyed staying with Caroline; a warm, friendly and generous host. The house was brimming with character and the room was perfect. Our delicious breakfast was all home made with local ingredients. Caroline's place is highly recommended! Thank you.

Sally was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The place is in such a lovely setting along with the space being cosy and inviting! We hope to return again to explore the beautiful area further!

Absolutely loved my stay in the shepherds hut, beautiful scenery of the land. Was very nice and clean. Hot tub was a nice addition to are stay as was the swing in the forest. I would definitely be coming back to sue as she was such a friendly host. And she gave us some nice recommendations of places to go and visit. And lovely homemade breakfasts brought to us every morning. Can’t wait to come back.
