What a beautiful home and a fabulous pool , many an evening was spent around it , we were totally relaxed after our stay and would highly recommend Our hosts were really accommodating and vet helpful and at the end of a message and were quick to respond . The area was lovely with fields around and easy to travel to different locations A fabulous family holiday was had by us all

We had a great week at Kate's place! Clean house, comfortable bedding, very good reception on site, the garden and environment are beautiful. The plus is really the indoor pool that the whole family has been able to enjoy! We'll probably be right back Thank you

It was a really nice week in the gîte rosiers. We enjoyed very much the nice surroundings and fun activities nearby. Super friendly hosts, they were always ready for us for help, fun tips and a chat here and there. It is definitely recommended!!

An amazing property in a peaceful location. Erica and Dave welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately and were on hand for any help we needed. The renovations are to a high standard and make for a comfortable and well appointed stay. The pool is massive. The covered outdoor areas are great for when the weather isn't behaving itself and the hot-tub is perfect to relax in. Plenty of towns and villages to explore nearby, with La Rochelle and Bordeaux not too far away. Lots of "vide-greniers' in the area to visit on a Sunday when most other things are closed.

We spent a week at the Moulin de Chanteloube. A peaceful and very pleasant week. Irina and Jean-Pierre were very attentive. Our children particularly enjoyed being able to go see the animals (sheep, chickens, deer, kangaroos), play with the children of the other cottage and with Ramses of course (adorable dog)! The estate is beautiful and the pool is great for relaxing. It already makes you want to come back. Thank you for everything Irina and Jean-Pierre!

Jeremy’s place was absolutely perfect for us. It is set in a beautiful peaceful location and the restoration of the property is thoughtful and full of charachter. The property itself also has plenty of outdoor space with quiet seating areas. Jeremy very kindly lent us bicycles and there are plenty of quiet roads which led to sleepy villages that we were happy to explore in the sunshine. You will need a car, but with that there are lots of Boulangeries nearby, and both LIDL and CARREFOUR within a reasonable drive. If you like waking to the sound of the cock crowing, and lazy days by the pool or exploring a quieter side of France then this is for you. You are unlikely to bump into any native English speakers but we loved that as it forced us to try and use our french. We do hope to revisit.

We had a fantastic week at La Gigon, so peaceful and relaxing, it had all we needed and more. Our 3 kids (6-9 years) had a ball in the pool and using all the games room had to offer. Judy was friendly and easy to communicate with and Jackie her property manager was welcoming and lovely. I highly recommend La Gigon and would love to return in the future.

Marion and her mother tastefully renovated a very beautiful house. Great bedding, you won't find a bit of dust. The unit is very well equipped and decorated. The environment is quiet. The hot tub is lovely. Occasionally we'll be back.

A dream house! Surrounded by a large plot, the house is spacious and well laid out. We immediately felt at home. The pool was much appreciated by young and old. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. Fiber internet connection that allowed efficient teleworking for several people.
