The lovingly built Camping Pod comes with the following amenities: ❤ HOT TUB (optional add-on) Enjoy romantic moments in the heated wooden hot tub with a direct view of the forest. The cost is a one-time fee of €60, which includes a box of firewood to heat the tub. If you need more wood, you can purchase an additional box for €10. Of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own firewood. Feel free to bring flip-flops and a bathrobe for extra comfort. (Please note: No fires are allowed during periods of high wildfire risk in summer.) ❤ HAMMOCK ❤ OUTDOOR SHOWER Enjoy a relaxing evening shower or a refreshing rinse with a view of the forest. Thanks to the camping water heater, you’ll have warm water. The perfect "hideaway" for individualists: Duplex apartment on two floors in a fantastically quiet location without traffic noise, on request with private basement for mountain bikes. The cozy apartment is renovated to a high standard and furnished with a lot of love for detail. On the 2nd floor are the spacious living/dining room and the modern, beautiful wooden kitchen as well as the bright, friendly bathroom. The 'Schanzenblick' house is beautifully located in a cul-de-sac with a view of the Mühlenberg. From here, you can set off on some lovely hikes. The fenced garden, which has a BBQ and seating area, can also be used. The centre of Altenau, with a supermarket, shops and restaurants, is a 10-minute walk away. To pass the time, Altenau offers the largest herb park in Germany, a disc golf course, a free forest swimming pool and the 'Heißer Brocken' crystal spa. You will be spending your holiday in our apartment on the 7th floor (lift available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window, you have a breathtaking view of the mountains and the climatic health resort of Bad Grund. The apartment features a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with a large shower, and a comfortable solid-wood double bed with cotton bed linen. On the balcony, you’ll be sitting on teak furniture surrounded by herbs (which you can harvest yourself) and flowers.

"Berg-Budse" Charming Harzhaus in Wildemann

In Wildemann, the "Little Tyrol" of the Harz, this charming Harz house from 1899 is located directly on idyllic hiking trails. Located on the slope and near the forest, it was extensively renovated after we bought it in 2021/2022. The "19-Lachter-Stollen" attraction is a few steps away, and there are many shops and restaurants in neighboring Clausthal-Zellerfeld. From the point of view of sustainability, our "Berg-Budse" is lovingly furnished with a mix of old and new things.

Holiday apartment in a quiet woodland location

Welcome to the Krafthaus, a historic forester's lodge from 1902 on the edge of the forest in the Upper Harz region. The sculptor Reinhold Kraft lived and worked here for many years. Sculptures and works of art in the holiday apartment still remind us of his work today and give the house its special character. The large garden and the quiet location by the forest invite you to spend relaxing days with family or friends.

Hobby room

We offer a non-smoking room for 1-3 people (30 m²) in the basement with private bathroom (shower/toilet) and entrance. The room with 2.40 m ceiling height has a single bed for 1 person and a sofa bed for 2 people. We are dog-friendly by arrangement. Our house is located on a quiet side street at the exit of the village. Hiking trails and shopping are within 5 minutes. The bicycle storage is lockable.

Our home port in Altenau is about 45 m2. It includes two bedrooms and a cozy living room with open kitchen niche, which is well-equipped. There are plenty of free parking places in front of the house. In the resort there is also a laundromat with washing machines and dryers for a fee. In addition, there is a basement for bicycles and/ or skis / snowboards storage facilities.
