To pass the time, Altenau offers the largest herb park in Germany, a disc golf course, a free forest swimming pool and the 'Heißer Brocken' crystal spa. You will be spending your holiday in our apartment on the 7th floor (lift available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window, you have a breathtaking view of the mountains and the climatic health resort of Bad Grund. The apartment features a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with a large shower, and a comfortable solid-wood double bed with cotton bed linen. On the balcony, you’ll be sitting on teak furniture surrounded by herbs (which you can harvest yourself) and flowers.

Die "Haselnuss" liegt im EG des Hauses und ist ca. 50qm groß. Der große Garten ermöglicht es Kraft zu tanken oder sich auszutoben. Direkter Zugang zur Terrasse.

Apartment on the Harz in beautiful nature

The apartment is located on the first floor of our vacation home, which was completed in the spring of 2020. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg/Westerode district surrounded by fields and meadows overlooking the beautiful Harz Mountains. The transport connection is very good, so you can quickly reach the nearby cities such as Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg or Braunschweig by car or bus and train from Bad Harzburg. Shopping facilities are also available in the village.

Lütte Hütte

From May 10th to June 24th, façade work will be carried out on the building. During this period, scaffolding will be erected around the house. The flat is lovingly furnished and has a large balcony with a breathtaking view. Situated a few hundred metres away from St. Andreasberg, it is wonderfully quiet, yet everything is within walking distance. The access road is unfortunately a bit bumpy, but easily passable at low speed. Please use Maps to find out more about the location.
