You can reach the 2025 Capital of Culture in Chemnitz in about 10 minutes by car. Otherwise, there is a bus connection that takes you to Chemnitz without changing trains (1-minute walk to the stop). The Erzgebirge with lots of nature and tranquility is also not far and quickly accessible.
