Tower holiday rentals in Balkans

Amazing!! The photos don’t do this place justice. It is so quirky and unique staying in a real windmill and we loved it. The spiral stairs, the round beds, the views… the location is fantastic, you can walk to the beautiful town of glaxidi which we loved and also the beach - both on paths through pine trees and also while we were there we had the swimming pool all to ourselves! We stayed at Torre Gigliano for 3 nights in April as a break from a long drive between the UK and eastern Europe. Alessandra was a generous and friendly host, on hand but not intrusive and was flexible with our check-in time when our ferry crossing was changed significantly. The tower was the most perfect place to rest and relax for a few days with both indoor and outdoor space being truly magical. The tower is beautifully presented and we found everything impeccably clean and all facilities exactly as described. The outdoor space is equally stunning with acres of olive groves to wander within (ideal for dogs), a beautifully clean small pool and each of the four sides of the tower offering a different place to sit and relax. We planned to leave the tower and explore Ruvo and the surroundings but found the place just too difficult to leave. Thank you Alessandra.

Wir haben 2 herrliche Woche im Haus von Andreas verbracht mit insgesamt 4 Kindern und haben uns tagtäglich sehr wohl und wie Zuhause gefühlt. Andreas hat auf die wenigen Anfragen unsererseits blitzschnell und sehr freundlich reagiert und konnte uns immer weiterhelfen. Ich würde jederzeit und sofort wiederkommen! Vielen Dank lieber Andreas!

It was beautiful, easy access to the beach, and restaurants. You can do boat tours, in that location. I would recommend this castle.

Siamo stati accolti molto cordialmente da Bernardo che ci ha subito condotti nell’ alloggio proprio all’interno della Torre centrale. Suggestivo e’ dir poco. Location davvero unica con vista a 360*con Capri in “cornice”. Abbiamo altresì apprezzato la tranquillità e la discrezione del contesto. Un saluto affettuoso alle ragazze della”colazione” per la loro simpatia e disponibilità. A presto

We absolutely loved our stay! The place has the most beautiful view!! Daniela is a phenomenal host! The place is definitely harder to get to without a car, but Daniela went out of her way to tell us what bus to take, the bus schedules and made sure we got off at the right stop! She went above and beyond! It was very clean upon arrival. We had everything we needed for a week stay — enough towels & linens, pots & pans, paper towels & toilet paper. We loved how much there was to walk to around the place. There is a butcher shop across the street, at least 4 restaurants within walking distance, and a small market with everything we needed. We also walked to the beach many times. There is also a scooter rental place next door that we utilized and that was so convenient and great! It was so quiet and peaceful and all the neighbors are so nice! I just have to mention again how GREAT the views were! We would def come back!! Our only complaints were the amount of flies & how hard the bed was.

The tower was such a unique airbnb accommodation and it did not disappoint. Very walkable from city center with a wonderful view of the fortress. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Très beau logement, une voiture est nécessaire pour visiter les alentours. Ce fut très plaisant! Nous avons profité du calme et de la piscine . Frederico nous a conseillé Ceglie Messapica pour souper au lieu d’Ostuni (plus touristique) nous avons très bien mangé et à faible prix ☺️
