Holiday rentals with a kayak in Balkans

The views, location, privacy, cleanliness and amenities were all a 10 out of 10. We like to cook so the full kitchen and huge outdoor patio and dining table was perfect. The grocery store is 100 feet away has good quality but a limited selection. Their prosciutto is amazing as is the bread but you need to ask for it, it isn’t displayed. For fresh seafood, we found Pescheria CICA by the beach. During our two night stay, we walked to the beach and back up the hill about 5 times which was great exercise but not possible for those with limited mobility. There is a bus option to make it back up the hill but we didn’t try it. Thank you Claudia for a wonderful stay!

A beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Great communication, super clean apartment with all essentials for actually cooking for yourself and v comfy bed. Felt v safe as a solo traveller. Incredible views, lovely local walks with more gorgeous views. Loved taking the kayak out and enjoying the crystal clear water. It was super quiet when I went, imagine it's a little busier in summer. Darko and family very welcoming, I'd love to go back one day.

Niko's place was comfortable, charming and perfect location with an amazing view! He was so helpful right from booking. Immediately responsive and full of recommendations and info. He even helped us find a doctor when my son needed some urgent care! Very pleased!

This a great place to stay in peaceful, amazing surroundings. Off the beaten paths, no crowds. No goats in our case either :) The house is big enough for 4 people. Very clean, comfortable beds and amazing yard and outside seating corner. The host Kia met us in person and was very kind and helpful. Please note that this little peace of heaven is a bit far away from civilization. (Great pubs nearby) Huge plus for us. Overall, we would love to return again, thanks for having us, Kia!

Zoran's father, Zdravko, contacted us the day before he arrived. He was extremely hospitable and friendly. He had already made all the notifications before we arrived. When we arrived, he greeted us at the door and introduced the house we were staying in in detail. When we told him that we were on our honeymoon, his wife Tatjana baked a cake for us and even left us drinks. This kindness made us very happy. The house was peaceful and beautiful, as shown in the photos. He had his own pool, a pier where you could swim in the sea, and even a canoe you could use. In addition, details such as bagels and game balls that you can use at sea or in the pool were also considered. The house was quite clean and equipped to meet all our needs. It also had a parking lot. If you are looking for a peaceful, private space, this is the place for you. The sunset and the view were truly breathtaking. We thank Zdravko and Tatjana again! :)

Absolutely stunning apartment with a sun-drenched terrace right on the riverbank pure tranquility and serenity! It’s a true slice of paradise. Bogdana was incredibly warm, attentive, and lightning-fast with responses. Can’t recommend this magical place enough!

We loved it here! So relaxing being so close to the lake, and having a kayak to explore with was amazing. The lake house is great, really beautiful and had everything you need, I could have stayed longer. We want to come back in the future!

The four of us spent a week at Branka's house. From beginning to end, everything was perfect, be it the communication with Branka (she always responded very quickly to inquiries), the warm welcome by Branka's parents, the furnishings of the house (especially in the kitchen, nothing is missing) and last but not least the unique location with breathtaking views of the sea. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you are definitely in the right place. Despite the secluded location, you can also quickly reach the city by car. We can fully recommend Branka and the "Private beach house" and will definitely come back!

Loved staying at Magalie’s place, it’s absolutely beautiful and Magalie is a perfect host. The location is ideal and the cottage is really lovely - so much so that we rarely left the property. Cannot recommend enough, thank you Magalie!

A lovely little house overlooking Alyki. We loved the views from the terraces and the wood burning stove kept us warm during some of the colder evenings.

It was a memorable stay with very serene beauty all around. The house is a bit smaller than we expected but the amenities and river outside made up for that very quickly. Will definitely be back. Expect to have lots of outdoor fun but don’t forget your bug spray! The host was very responsive and helpful and nice.

Our stay here was idyllic, a little slice of heaven. The area is very peaceful and private, the perfect escape. The house was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Michael is a gracious host with excellent local knowledge full of tips of where to visit, things to see and places to eat. The house comes with all manner of water sports accessories (paddle boards, kayaks, snorkle) which the whole family enjoyed. The garden is spectacular with many spots to sit and relax among the olive trees and forget about the world for a while. Many thanks to Michael for a wonderful stay. We hope to return in the future.

We had a fantastic time at Zrinka's place. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful overlooking the river and waterfalls. I could sit out on the terrace all day every day enjoying the peace and quiet. Anytime you get too warm it is a simple matter to pop down and have a swim in the river or, if you are feeling adventurous, take the canoe for a paddle. This was two weeks of relaxing paradise. With a car it was also easy to visit various local castles, mountains and lakes. Zagreb is an hour away and we even popped over into Slovenia for a couple of day trips. Zrinka is incredibly welcoming and easy to contact. All in all well worth 5 stars.

My husband and I spent several days here because we wanted to take a break from our busy life and the big city we live in, and our rest was a success! The house is very clean, cute and comfortable, the owner of this place is very friendly, hospitable and helpful. The outdoor kitchen is 10/10! We would be very happy to come here again one day.

A dream. We can only recommend the house and make a clear recommendation. Edin was totally hospitable and communication was perfect. If you want beautiful Bosnian nature and relaxation, this is perfect. We will definitely be back!

My fiancé and I had the best time staying here in Positano. While there are a lot of stairs, the view in itself is well worth it. We made sure to try and go only up the stairs once per day, which helped. It is super close to the main point of town, and there is even a little sandwich/food spot that has wine, fresh mozzarella, fruit, etc. that we bought to bring up to the room to make our own dinners. Francesca was also super responsive and helpful when it came to arriving in Positano a little early and our early checkout time. She gave local recommendations and her dad was also super sweet! Unfortunately we did not have time to check out the private beach but from what we saw it looked super nice. The deck was awesome, too, and we sat out on the swinging chair multiple nights in a row. If you’re thinking about booking this place, do it! We will definitely be back should we find ourselves in Positano again!

We loved our 3 nights in the dormitor national park. The hut is perfectly placed for activities in the Tara Canyon, hikes in Durmitor and little bike rides to lakes etc. There are no restaurants nearby but Diana’s family cooks delicious food and breakfast and the little hub is good for cooking. The two dogs are lovely and cuddly. The only thing is that it’s quite warm up top where the main bed is as the cottage heats up during the day. A fan or aircon upstairs (there is one downstairs bit doesn’t really cool down the top) would be perfect. But that’s only a minor detail. Absolutely recommended.

The house is in a lovely location by the river, with plenty of outdoor space for hanging out. Inside, it’s simply and authentically furnished. Milenko gave us a warm welcome, showed us around, and shared helpful tips on what to see nearby. We only stayed one night, but we’d be happy to come back again!

Very cozy and comfortable cabin. Superb Location. There is a delightful restaurant in conspiracy. The recommendation to the host is to update the kitchen utensils and hang the curtain in the shower longer :) Otherwise, everything is beautifully arranged!

Thanks to Aline for her kindness and availability. We really liked the cabin and its environment is peaceful. We loved the absolute calm. Maybe because the restaurant next door wasn't open yet. The bed is a little hard but you get used to it. The kids enjoyed sleeping upstairs, like a cabin in a cabin. A big plus is the communication with Aline. Nothing to complain about!!! Thank you
