Holiday rentals with lake access in Balkans

Excellent stay. The place is stunning! It overcame our expectations. I recommend it 100%. Darja is an amazing host, very kind and responsive. The house has everything and the surroundings is very beautiful and relaxing.

We were honestly blown away - quiet literally! Nikola was friendly and professional, right from picking us up on the boat to dropping us back off. He made sure we felt at home, helped when we were stuck for groceries due to flight delays, and even threw in some house extras! The house was well equipped, with free kayaks to use, local restaurant, and the views were simply breathtaking. The only sounds were of birds chirping and boats gurgling. We had a couple of windy days, but that only made the experience more exciting. We had our breakfast on the patio, watched the sunset and stars appear, dipped in the river, bird watched, and went kayaking up to the monastery. Overall, a beautiful house in a breathtaking place of natural beauty, with a superb host... We recommend boating over to the restaurant in the summer. Many times we even watched the friendly restaurant owner pull out fish from the river - It was delicious.

We travel often, and this was one of our best experiences! Jasminka was professional, responsive, and very accommodating. We arrived in Ohrid, and Jasminka had a boat ready to take us to the house. The route to the house is absolutely beautiful. The walk from the house to the town center is only about 10 minutes, but is very safe and passes several small beaches and restaurants. I can't say enough about how wonderful this location was for our family. We have four boys, and the house was clean and had plenty of space for all of us. The neighbor, Ana, was very polite and helpful, and we had the opportunity to have a fresh trout dinner at her restaurant next door. I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting the Lake Ohrid region.

Elizabeth was very friendly, she is very responsive and attentive. The place is great it has nice collection of music and family games.

The accomodation and the location was very nice, peaceful and I remembered a lot of memories since I was a kid and going to my grandparents house. On top of that the host were very nice people. We will come back for sure and I recomend the place!

Traveled off season to this lovely house just outside a wonderful, walkable town. Our GPS sent us to the wrong location but Karolos was responsive and helped us find the house. We loved the deck overlooking the beach and sea. There was some pre-season maintenance happening that blocked our access via the house path to the beach but we found another way to access it. We also had a very friendly cat who visited us daily for attention. We loved Aigos Nikolas and would return again!

Tinkara was very available as soon as we arrived, so that we were settled in and that we could enjoy our stay in Bled. She made us some very useful recommendations and remained available and kind for our entire stay

We enjoyed our stay here for 4 weeks, and that was made even better by Tedi’s mom, who is one of the kindest and most hospitable host(s)– since she kind of takes care of the flat, that we’ve had. But also Tedi replied fast whenever we had a question or needed something. Regarding the flat, the kitchen is quite ok for general cooking, the flat was clean and it is sort of stylish, it kind of feels like a real home rather than an airbnb. The location is great, right in the center, 2 minutes walk from the lake. Although it is located on one of the most central streets, it was usually very peaceful. The internet is generally ok for work around 25mbps, but in the mornings and evenings it was sometimes unstable especially for video calls. The heater is quite good, but on the few days with minus and snow, it reached it’s limit a bit, especially in the bedroom. Overall the experience and flat were very positive, great host(s) and location. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended !

We very much enjoyed our stay here, it’s a great place for staying with children and has all the amenities you’ll need. The apartment is great for visiting Lake Bled, being only a few mins walk away. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful.

This home was incredible! The backyard and garden surrounding the home was magical- just like how I imagine the shire to be! Dorde was an exceptional host- he helped us out with directions, recommendations, etc. I cannot recommend this home and/or Dorde enough!

I must say it was the best vacation we have ever booked through Airbnb. The private pond is very special, which we also used every day. In addition, there is a real pool. I also found the herd of sheep to the neighboring property, which you could pet. Furthermore, there are 4 cats on the property, so if you have children, there is always one to play. Very good Hungarian restaurants are nearby, which are great value for money. The hosts Susann, Othmar and Tibor are super nice, know each other and try to make everything possible. I recommend having a trip organized by carriage. Here you are guided by a local through forests and the children are even allowed to steer themselves. Overall, I highly recommend the hosts and the property.

Extremely manicured wooden cottages on a secondary branch of the river. Close to the beach and main restaurants.... Lovely atmosphere... We had a great time

We had a lovely stay at Brankas cute little Beach House! Super beautiful surrounding, nice view and dreamy sunsets. Branka was super nice and helpful. She and her parents were always available in case of questions or problems. Thank you Mama Branka, Papa Branka and of course thanks to you Branka for your hospitality!!!

We stayed at the property with three adults and two children (3 and 5 years) and had a great time. The surroundings are fantastic. You can have breakfast in the sun overlooking partly snowy mountains. Beautiful hikes can be taken from the property. And by car you can take nice excursions to Cefalú or other hiking areas. Our children were especially enthusiastic about the donkeys, the dogs and the spacious grounds. Manfredi was super easy to reach and always friendly. A highlight was that he brought us homemade bread one evening. In the evening, you can also relax in front of the fireplace. We will be happy to come back. The accommodation is highly recommended for those who are in the mood for peace and nature!!

The property is very quiet off the big main road near Lake Skadar. Everything you need for a holiday is there. Milan was very friendly and organized a boat trip on the lake for us!

The home was spotless, beautifully decorated with a cozy and welcoming vibe, and there was so much space to relax and unwind. You can tell a lot of care went into making it feel like a home away from home. The host was also incredibly kind and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone!

Great place, modernly furnished with views of the countryside. A few minutes from the lake, a few restaurants within walking distance. Lots of tips for things to do in the area. All in all highly recommended! Glad to come back!

It's an amazing place to go as a couple. We saw the sunset every afternoon and it really looked like something out of a movie. The house is very beautiful and has very nice corners. There are beaches very close by and charming towns to visit. Cafi has been very kind and has helped us in everything. We left very happy, eager to repeat!
